And by the way just because Eddie would try to arrest him doesn't mean he shouldn't apologize anyway. It's not like Eddie actually can arrest him, after all, and Eddie is familiar with the bad guy that caused The Flash to go nuts. Iris didn't really have any framework for that explanation to make sense, but it would have meant a lot more to Eddie, who saw a fellow cop go nuts earlier in the episode.
I think this may be another example of a difference in our personalities. You're very critical, me not so much.

Trophy guide says 10/10 for difficulty. I'm sure the online stuff would be really hard for most players.
battle mode (I think that's what it's called) and 3 starring the challenges is insanely tough. add on top of that the stupid long grind to hit level 100 (which takes dozens and dozens of hours past doing everything else in the game/on the trophy list) and you have probably the worst fighting game trophy list ever. maybe mortal kombat (also netherrealm's) is worse.

No K-Marts near me, so easy to resist. I would've liked to have grabbed Ground Zeroes for $5, though.
Same here. As soon as I clicked "Place Order" for GZ last night, I was taken to an empty-cart page and was no longer able to add it to the cart, and now the PS4 version's page doesn't even exist anymore (the XB1 version's page does, though). :wall:

FYI, GZ was only for in-store pickup, too, so wouldn't you have had to pass that one up?

Yeah, I tend to dislike bad writing and shoehorned character "development." I mean, I get that they need to get from Point A to Point B, but that doesn't provide justification for doing a bad job of it.

Therm, cant you ever just watch or play something "for fun"?  I just dont get why you cant seem to ever be entertained by something without it having character development or world class writing.

Entourage for example.  It was one of the most entertaining shows I have ever watched.  I never thought about character development or superb writing, or even acting.  I just wanted to see what dumb shit they would get into and the crazy things Ari and Drama would say.  Didnt you say you liked that show or was it just E Chriqui you liked?

EDIT:  I also wanted to see EC's fine ass.  How could I forget!?

Yeah, just saying I would've liked to have been able to get it for that price. It's probably either $5 or bust for me, as I think there is a chance they'll end up packaging it together with The Phantom Pain.

PSN EU got a free Retro PS1 theme for PS4/PS3/Vita: http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/12/03/retro-ps1-theme-released-for-playstation-4

Hopefully we'll get it today.

I really like that ps4.

12300 is fairly limited (anyone know why that number?)

If one were to get one, i'd say keep it boxed as a collectors item.

I've never watched Entourage is what I said. I can enjoy stupid things to some extent, but when the stupidity is too rampant then it ruins my enjoyment. I'm pretty open to any kind of subject material as long as it's done well. Everything I watch or play or read is for fun--but doing something for fun shouldn't require turning off your brain completely to ignore every fault with the media you're spending time on. If you can do that, and want to do that, have at it.

Only 38 Burnout challenges to go and that Paradise plat is mine. Only two more after that for the sweet sweet 100%. It's now my highest scoring TT game that's not Pinball Arcade.
I ran through all 40 needed for the Burnout license last night. I had mainly done the races up until last night but went more with the Road Rage and Marked Man ones last night. All of it was fun. I saved the Road Rage with the unlocked van as the last one needed for plat. I still have some work to do on a couple of the DLC packs as well.

BTW I have to ask--do you people who complain about me having issues with shows/games/etc. consciously decide to ignore that stuff, or do you honestly not notice it in the first place? It's not like I sit down and try to think this stuff through. I don't take notes in an episode of Flash, go over them afterwards, and say "Hey, this shit is stupid!" It's just impossible for me to not notice that kind of thing in any show I watch.

I'm starting to suspect this is similar to how some people can and some people can't tell the difference between standard definition and high definition, or some people can pick out auditory difference between high-quality lossy and lossless audio. That makes more sense to me than that people in here are deliberately ignoring poor quality. If you are...then why? It's not like there's a shortage of things to watch and play, so why lower your standards?

Therm, you seem to nitpick everything.  We all probably have issues with everything we see or play.  Nothing is ever perfect.   We just dont chose to expound on the smaller issues like you do.

But hey its cool. I still think its fun to see what you dont like today!

I get called out a lot IRL as you do in here. I tend to be critical about most of the media I consume because as you said, I don't really have time to waste on things I don't like. There is enough stuff out there if something isn't really clicking with me, I can easily replace it with something better. I don't necessarily spend all of my time on great media, but it is where I spend the majority of my time.

I think the biggest area where this is relevant to me is music. I don't enjoy most of the music in the Top 40 because I don't find it interesting. My friends and family know me as the music snob because I would rather listen to something that take risks and is different for a change than listen to the formula music of the radio.

I think most people confuse being critical with being negative.

If something is genuinely so terrible that I don't enjoy it, then sure, I avoid it. But I try not to let the minor issues I notice about things get in the way of my enjoyment. And of course we're all different people so we'll enjoy different things, I just think you'd be a happier person if you'd let yourself enjoy things more.

More to the point on Flash though: If you're watching a super-hero tv show on CW for world-class plot and writing, of course you're going to be disappointed.

Random game update: I'm almost done with Bayonetta. I'm really digging it. It kind of feels like a more accessible version of Platinum's other games gameplay/difficulty wise which is nice. I'm really looking forward to jumping into Bayo 2 once I finish the first up

You people that don't like OitNB but have never seen it…. Lame.

Obviously the relationship between OitNB and House of Cards is that they are both highly touted Netflix original series. I lost interest in House of Cards, but OitNB I did like. Having said that, I'm only partway through season 1 of that too (we switched to The Wire because of all the accolades). I don't have enough time for video games or TV shows. I progress slowly through both.

Titan Attacks is pretty terrible. Not saying I won't play it more anyway, but it's pretty bad.

Skylanders people (only Zimm, I think) Amazon has lightning deals on three characters at 12:10 eastern if you haven't seen it already. I'm gonna grab Jade Fire Kraken if it's a good price.

Not directed at you, necessarily, but music snobs are the fucking worst. Music is 100% subjective. People like what they like. When others try and declare that other people's taste in music is "bad" and act like they are so fucking enlightened for listening to what they do it just makes me want to kick them in the balls. Movies, TV, and games at least have some objective stuff you can go by (acting, writing, graphics, etc.)

I started out agreeing with this until you got to the objective part at the end. I believe acting, writing, and even graphics are all still subjective. That is the reason I really do not care to listen or read these long critiques of games/shows unless I asked someone for it. Unsolicited opinions are a bigger waste of time than media you don't like. At least you can always stop watching/playing something you do not care for.
