While LoS2 is not the shittiest game ever (MLB 14 is, says Chewy), the psnp card image is definitely the sweetest part of the game.

I finally beat the Emerald boss in Geometry Wars 3 yesterday. It really is a fun game, but this particular boss was, say, 8/10 Therms. Fortunately I beat it with 3 stars so I don't have to play that one again!

Seems silly that you apparently can't grab people by the neck from behind in Crysis. If the idea is to be stealthy and do it quietly, forcing you to be face to face to grab them is kinda the antithesis of that, that gives them time to try and yell and fire their gun while you decloak.

Honestly, no idea. Someone asked this on reddit and people said it wouldn't work since that package was delivered before the update. That makes sense to me, but at the same time, no one has a clue how it's going to work. What I'm doing, is just stopping once I get pretty close to a rank up. Then I should be able to hit one on each character tomorrow. What I'm curious about, is how many commendations each item will cost. If it's one, that's cool, but it can take a few days to get a faction up if you're getting shitty bounties that only give 50 rep for each one.
Figures kilik and I played yesterday am and I hit level 3 Vanguard on my Warlock. I was hoping it wouldn't level up but after the weekly and the nightfall it just barely leveled up.

I think you are probably right as it screwed us on anything in the post office when they messed around with the cryptarch with regards to legendary engrams. Oh well was nice to actually have the right gear running through the nightfall for a chance. It was actually easier then the daily yesterday (well at least shorter).

It would be cool if I could plug a set of headphones into my Dualshock 4 and hear the game audio that way. They should find a way to do this so I can just use my cheap set of earbuds when people are sleeping.

Alright, TT leaderboard is set at total number of trophies. I'll leave it for a day or two.

The only setups that are really that interesting are TT score, completion %, and TT ratio. Just going down the list though to give everyone a look at the other options.

Not bad... actually behind a couple that I am ahead of in score, and ahead of some that are ahead of me in score. Actually have more trophies then Papi Chullo even though he is ahead like 5000 points

Ahh I see, I've been looking at the wrong leaderboard this whole time.

Whoa. Moved up another spot. It definitely is interesting to see how things change with each stat category.

Plat #5 acquired: NCAA Football 11

I'm hoping to be up to 10 by the end of the year if I can finish some games I've been grinding out for a while, namely WWE 2K14, Jeopardy, and Assassin's Creed IV. I've also got to finish up Family Guy and maybe go back to finish ICO.

I've still got 20 games of Jeopardy to win (out of 50 needed), plus I need to find an online match.

You have to do the same thing for it to work with any other headset, including the golds.
I still have to get used to this thing. It was so weird just pressing the PS button to stop playing inFamous and having no "quit game" selection anywhere.

By the way, isn't that kinda like the suspend/resume feature everyone has been wanting? I mean I can just press the PS button again and go back exactly where I was. Seems like it would keep your place while in rest mode, though I haven't tried this yet.

Related question: are you supposed to be able to use an iPhone headset with the Vita for chat? I tried doing that and it didn't seem to pick up my voice.
Some work and some don't due to the way the Vita's headphone jack is designed. Apple headphones don't. There's an adapter you can get, though, to help with the ones that don't.

From the comments it sounds like the OLED and LED versions of the Vita handle the jack differently and that the newer Vita should be more compatible. Dunno how true that is, though. I've never used a mic with either of my Vitas.

Maybe you already found it, but you can just hold the PS button to bring up the "Close Application" option.

I haven't had much time to play around with it yet.

Also, I noticed Injustice is like 22 gb or something. It only downloaded like 4gb or something initially. Will it not download the rest until I start the game up for the first time?

I'm in the public CAG one and I thought that was the one that was supposed to have been changed, not the more specific PSNOT one that I didn't notice existed until I thought to look for it just now.
Damn, I did not even realize the public one had ballooned to where they split it over 2 pages. I just did a search for owl and didn't see you. You should send a note to Topside to get added to the private one.

That public one is completely stupid. It should be renamed the CAG lurker leaderboard.

Good job Topside for creating a leaderboard that's actually interesting because we know the people on it, even if you do keep screwing it up by having Tyler ahead of me.

No, it's still downloading in the background. The initial download is just so you can start the game while the rest is downloading.

If you hover over the game, push the Options button, and then select Information, it'll show you how much is left.

The reviews of that thing on amazon aren't encouraging….

I know I typed this once and hit submit... CAG is a POS.

If you highlight a game and hit the options button (same was to close the app like Vig mentioned) there will be a check for updates option. If you click that it will start downloading any possible patches without waiting for you to boot it. Depending on the game, some will start that as soon as the disc is inserted others seem to wait. I have no idea why it is one way or the other.

So you can't see the progress of the rest of the download anywhere? That's kinda dumb. It's not showing in the download list or anything.
Outside of what pitfall mentioned in the edit, I think you can also see it in notifications then select downloads as well. Maybe that is only for updates and not the in the background stuff though.

Cool, thanks for answering my dumb questions guys. I'm sure I'll have more to ask later.

I love this machine though.
