Still really stoked that I made like $60 in 10 minutes by selling my GC adapter and waiting a week or two for a new one to come.  Why aren't you guys happy for me???

 
Y'all remember how much saints row 4 was last time it was on sale in the PS store? Clearance copy for $13 at target has me tempted, though I haven't finished 3 yet. I'm so weak.

I'm scared of seeing how much wavebirds are going for. I parted with both off mine for around $40 without packaging to amazon during a period of tiv insanity.

The complete version is coming out soon on PS4. And by "complete" I mean "incomplete" due to the upcoming Gat out of Hell. Just to be clear. :wall:

I liked FO3 more than NV because it felt like a fresh return to the Fallout world (I played 1 and 2 on the PC. I even played Wasteland).

NV felt like a bit of a rehash. The actual city of Vegas wasn't very big.  And I personally thought Ceasar and his legion made for stupid enemies. (The final boss batlte is a guy with a sword. I have a nuclear bomb gun.)

Having multipule paths/factions to get to the ending was a nice touch even if it didnt seem to affect the world fully.

Actually vaguely annoyed by the FFX/X2 PS4 thing. I don't want to buy it again still not finish it... at least I got the vita version last time. Not as much of a possible face punch.

Continuing to respond to or like snakey's posts ensures that he'll keep posting here, which is what ugly is referring to. Most of us are avoiding him in hopes that he'll get the picture and move on, but a select few in here are messing that up for the rest of the group.

Did you look at it? It says "Re-Elected & Gat Out of Hell." The game itself isn't sold as a complete edition on its own, just a game that comes with a pre-packaged expansion that you can just as easily buy as a separate component. You're paying $20 extra for that expansion and you could just as easily buy them separately. I'm sure they'll end up releasing more DLC for it, so that will also be missing from Re-Elected.

 
Pharm/Tyler, how long would you say Shadow Warrior is? I have a ton of Amazon credit right now and I'm considering just buying the PS4 version for $17.49+tax and returning the GS copy I "rented", and knowing the game length will affect my decision.

Hey, not sure if you saw, but David Simon recently spoke about the re-release. He seems fine with it but not particularly excited about the execution. I think his stance is more or less: HBO was going to do it without me and there wasn't much I could do about it, lol.

Bottomline is that the show was framed purely for 4:3, with no consideration given to 16:9. So you guys that already own the DVD set shouldn't feel too burned by the Blu Ray release. Higher resolution, sure, but it's not perfect. Not sure why HBO can't just release the original in HD. My guess is for the misinformed masses who still believe widescreen=HD.

At the last, I’m satisfied that while this new version of The Wire is not, in some specific ways, the film we first made, it has sufficient merit to exist as an alternate version,” Simon wrote. “There are scenes that clearly improve in HD and in the widescreen format. Your post implied that the PS4 version would be missing content, but it won't--you can't buy Re-Elected on its own on PS4.

However, if Gat Out of Hell turns out to be a digital code in that PS4 "bundle", that would change things.

News sites announced it as $30 alone or $50 with Gat Out of Hell. Granted Amazon and GS don't list them separately yet, but it's a bit early yet. And I really, really doubt they won't be releasing more DLC down the road as well. We'll see.

I believe my save file was around 14-15 hours when I finished the story. I then went back for as many trophies I could get and believe my save file was around 19-20 hours. Its a pretty long game for an old school FPS. But I loved all 15 hours of it and the last 5 grinding was still fun as I muted the game and killed a bunch of demons while jamming to Metallica and others.

The correct answer is $8.99 for vanilla & $13.49 for National Treasure version. I showed some fortitude and put it back. I'm sure I can find it for cheaper down the road after I've actually finished 3 (which I was enjoying before getting distracted).

You could also "rent" a copy of the National Treasure edition from Gamestop, install the DLC from the disc (you have to start the game itself up to install it, unlike the GotY editions of Borderlands 1/2 and Dishonored), then return the game and wait for a cheap copy of the vanilla edition.

 
Oh, never mind. They dropped the price on the new Elgato HD-60 model. I ordered the old model and it isn't $119. Well, at least it comes with built-in PS3 and other component video support (Wii, Gamecube, etc)….

Played a little more, but not as much as I thought since the game was a blowout and I wanted to start Deadpool up. Then I got sucked into Final Horizon yesterday. Still havnt run into any slowdown, but again, I'm only in the early levels.

Just realized the elgato would work with wii/wii u. I think I've had mine for a year or so and that never registered.

That's right, Kratos is in Shovel Knight on PS4, PS3, and Vita, and will do battle with Shovel Knight as a roaming warrior, who Shovel Knight will encounter randomly as he travels around the in-game map.
