I'm regretting buying PS4 day 1 more and more. At this point I could have waited two years and been fine. I expected a year with pretty much nothing, but damn...Aw, crapballs--The Witcher 3 has been delayed to 5/19: http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/12/08/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt-release-date-delayed-again?abthid=5485cf9262f845581f000005
Do they really expect us to finish that before Arkham Knight on 6/2?!![]()
You can't select in-store pickup anyway--shipping is your only option. All I can say is, have them ship it. Don't pick up in store - you might never see it.
Thanks Vig, I grabbed one. Tempted to get a 2nd to sell down the road...Gamestop is accepting online-only preorders for $19.99 Wii U Gamecube Adapters set to ship on 12/15: http://www.gamestop.com/wii-u/accessories/wii-u-gamecube-adapter/115426
Boy, if I was one of those people who paid $70+ for one of these, I would be ticked.
Dont be jelly. That public one is completely stupid. It should be renamed the CAG lurker leaderboard.
Good job Topside for creating a leaderboard that's actually interesting because we know the people on it, even if you do keep screwing it up by having Tyler ahead of me.
Not that most people would be able to take advantage of this, but apparently you can hook up two adapters and play 8 player smash with 8 Gamecube controllers. At least according to my kids, and they would probably know. Thanks Vig, I grabbed one. Tempted to get a 2nd to sell down the road...
AgreedI've got a bad cold. I should have stayed home and played games all day.
Are these really that rare? I bought one the day of release without a preorder or anything. Must've been lucky. Just checked on Amazon and I see them going for $100.. I think I'm going to have to list mine, then turn around and preorder this if it sells.Gamestop is accepting online-only preorders for $19.99 Wii U Gamecube Adapters set to ship on 12/15: http://www.gamestop.com/wii-u/accessories/wii-u-gamecube-adapter/115426

Grabbed one as well, thanks Vig! That'll save me buying a bunch of extra controllers all over again.Gamestop is accepting online-only preorders for $19.99 Wii U Gamecube Adapters set to ship on 12/15: http://www.gamestop.com/wii-u/accessories/wii-u-gamecube-adapter/115426

You probably purchased the one I had pre-ordered and Gamestop didn't hold for me. You bastard. Are these really that rare? I bought one the day of release without a preorder or anything. Yeah, I just ordered a second as well that I'll try and sell. Should be an easy profit. Are these really that rare? I bought one the day of release without a preorder or anything. Must've been lucky. Aaaannnd it's sold (well.. "pending"). Listed it for $5 under the lowest price. Now I'll go order one of those GS ones! Are these really that rare? I really need to sell the sealed one we have. The packing is a bit mangled, though, so that might hurt the selling price.Damn, the price of Wavebirds has really shot up with SSB coming out.
I have personally never done it. I have heard they can work very well if you have line of sight. Without some sort of signal generator and detector it might be tough to get dialed in. Worth a shot at that price though.http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BXBIXIQ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=AVUYM0ARNYWYA
Gator/anyone else with know-how, what would it take to set this thing up? Trying to shoot the signal around 500 yards or so.
Nice instructions:I have personally never done it. I have heard they can work very well if you have line of sight. Without some sort of signal generator and detector it might be tough to get dialed in. Worth a shot at that price though.
Don't take antenna in your hand walked up and down to trial, right use of measure is: toward the signal source, or residential area, put it as far as possible high.Fix it after found the best ReceivingPoint. Then will play good.
I've been toying with the idea of sharing internet with my parents for awhile now since they live close by. Hoping this does the trick.I have personally never done it. I think I'm doomed too. I was just going to go for the plat but then I decided to try doing EVERYTHING. Currently I'm at level 31, 160+ areas discovered, and around 50 quests completed.Got through Dead Money with minimal slowdown (vanilla areas had much more slowdown than Dead Money) and no hard freezes, but my file size is approaching 10mb, and Honest Hearts is starting to come apart at the seams. Might be time to retire this set of saves.
RIP Courier, hero of the wastes. You made it to level 39 and mastered pretty much everything.
Also, Obsidian should be the main developer of the Fallout series. FO3 was a fine game, but New Vegas crushes it on differing playstyles, dialogue, storytelling, and RPG elements.Got through Dead Money with minimal slowdown (vanilla areas had much more slowdown than Dead Money) and no hard freezes, but my file size is approaching 10mb, and Honest Hearts is starting to come apart at the seams. Yeah, you lost me. I haven't played much of New Vegas, but this just doesn't sound right at all. Also, Obsidian should be the main developer of the Fallout series. FO3 was a fine game, but New Vegas crushes it on differing playstyles, dialogue, storytelling, and RPG elements.
This is consistently what I hear on other forums as well, that NV is far superior to FO. Mostly it's PC gamers weighing in. I kind of wonder if the bugs of the console version are driving people into the arms of FO3 instead.Yeah, you lost me. I haven't played much of New Vegas, but this just doesn't sound right at all.
Wait until you hit the other bosses.I finally beat the Emerald boss in Geometry Wars 3 yesterday. It really is a fun game, but this particular boss was, say, 8/10 Therms. Fortunately I beat it with 3 stars so I don't have to play that one again!
I've always heard the opposite, and when I was deciding between which to play people overwhelmingly recommended FO3. But you may be right about it being a console/PC thing. This is consistently what I hear on other forums as well, that NV is far superior to FO. Mostly it's PC gamers weighing in. I do plan to play both to see for myself. On PC, though, where tons of mods and user-fixes are available.
You resolved to beat 100 games this year but are only 14 in? I don't think you're going to make it.MLB 13 was definitely more annoying. Hitting was those certain spots for the homerun trophies was aggravating.
New Years backlog completed: 14/100
Super glue.Crap, what do I do if the router doesn't have a spot for a coax cable? Buy another one?
Crap, what do I do if the router doesn't have a spot for a coax cable? Buy another one?
Both games were really buggy for the ps3 but I enjoyed both nonetheless. Fo3 a little more than NVI think what I've heard is that FO3 is better from a gameplay perspective but NV is better in terms of writing, and that Obsidian's games tend to be bug-ridden despite having excellent-quality writing.
Therm fiercely defending his position as worst poster in the PSNOT thread.Yeah, that was pretty infuriating. Especially since it was so pointless as a punishment for failing the mission--even if you had an army of orcs on you all you had to do was run back and re-start the mission to make them all disappear. So dumb that they allowed you to trigger missions while being attacked, and also that triggering a mission resets the orcs to a predefined status.
I know, right? Every series ever should just stop because every game is the same. It's a pretty compelling argument.
Vigilante is challenging Therm but he's still stuck at second worst piece of shit.Aren't there stealth sections in the beginning?
Nah, it doesn't. IT guy here at work recommended this to go with it:I am not sure even if you had one how well it would work. I was not paying attention to it being an RF connector. I incorrectly assumed it was meant for ethernet connections. That tells me it is really meant for video. You could get a router that supported MOCA, but I am not certain how well that would work with the antennae. Of course, you would need one on either end and one would have to allow the MOCA connection to be the WAN. Sounding a lot more like a science experiment now...
EDIT: OHHHHHH, it is actually replacing the wireless antennae on the router itself. Does your router not have an external antennae at all? There is a cable shown with the people also shop for this link that should work on routers with an external antennae.

I wish. The SMT series are a few of the reasons why I bought my 3DS.At August in P4 Golden. So hopefully I'm about 2/3 rd of the way done. Otherwise, i think I might just quit. Game's isn't holding my interest. (Yet why do I keep playing it?)
I really perfer the SMT games that are more combat over story. Any word on SMT IV moving from theover to the Vita?
Which one(s) did you use?So I think these antibiotics caused nerve damage to my left hand, I hope it's not permanent.
