last chapter had me raging a little bit, but it only took one reload to get it on track. i could have made things a lot easier for myself if i had leveled more than 4 characters. now i have to decide if i want to go back, and play with the stuff you can unlock on new playthroughs, or if i just go trade it in. i don't think i enjoyed it as much as most did. an odd thing for me to say about an ff game.

The gameplay was solid (dumb camera notwithstanding) and I really liked the ending, but I plan on trading the game in today at Best Buy for $35 since extra playthroughs reveal story content that you can just read about on the Final Fantasy Wiki or wherever. I also didn't care about the Type-0 world enough to explore the world map or visit optional dungeons (the only ones I visited were the first one and the one needed to unlock the airship).

The sad part is he's going to think you're joking and try to make it funny somehow. But then he'll fail miserably and make some comment that's even worse and more cringeworthy than anyone could possibly imagine.

Just saw his comment. I'm glad you said something about it. Maybe Eld should stay away from making comments about children and rape. Especially since his jokes seem to bring them together. Him being a father makes it even more disturbing.

yeah i just ignored that comment. it was like weird snakey level. my children are 9 months, 2, 4, 11, 12 and almost 15. so yeah, not quite appropriate. but i like eldritch. i blame it to being very late?

yeah, we got any mp / co op games planned for this weekend? any group boosting?

if it was socially acceptable i would have more kids. my grrl is actually on bc now. which sucks. but i guess better than more babies so soon. im trying to be more 'responsible'. but my babies are so damn cute. my littlest one just got mobile like a week ago. it changes so much from putting her down and her not moving, to putting her down and her rolling and crawling across the room. now she is trying to stand up on her own. time flies man.

Velo, it is none of my business but I will say it anyway.  You have enough kids.  But yeah its awesome seeing them grow up.  Them talking back however...

It was a bit of sarcasm/joke. And yes I get it was a beta. But jeez don't they test anything anymore over at Redmond. I seem to recall being in on a beta or two on the 360 and didn't have the thing wipe out my games/harddrive. It happened to someone else I know too.

I am just happy that Sony seems to be focused mostly on games. With MS who knows WTF they are doing.

To be fair, there was the update from Sony that completely cratered people who had upgraded hard drives above a certain size and that made it out to everyone before being pulled relatively quickly. So I have a hard time being able to throw stones at MS for this one without feeling like a complete hypocrite.

Yea my 7 1/2 month old just started crawling some. Definitely no more putting down to just play, gotta watch her all the time now as if you dont she'll be halfway across the room trying to get into something.

 
Ever since current gen consoles were announced, it was clear that Sony is putting their focus on games. MS wants to rule your living room, and that's what got them in a lot of trouble at first. Remember that first conference they had when they were spouting off all these TV things the Bone could do, and barely touched on games.

The idea of having one device that can do everything is cool to me, but not really necessary. My Fire TV and a Roku handle all my media stuff, I don't need my console to do that too. I don't think I even have any media apps downloaded on my PS3/PS4.

Might be worth getting a 7 day trial to unlocator.com and see if that helps. I am using that so I can watch the Orioles on MLB.tv. But I'm not sure if it works for those hockey streams. Trial doesn't require a credit card. You get the trial, change the DNSs to the ones provided by unlocator and that's it.

I'm pretty skeptical about how well that would work. I assume it is a lever that presses something like one of those phone stylus pads into the touchpad on the back. I'm sure it works, but how it feels in practice I'd be pretty skeptical about. Also there's the question of how long it will last before it breaks.

 
I use Netflix, Amazon Prime Instant Video and MLB.tv on my PS4 and/or 360s. I don't have cable, so that cable integration on the Xbone would be of no value.

Speaking of kids, our oldest is having a belated friend birthday party/sleepover tonight and they are going to be up until late in the night playing video games and being really loud. Will lock ourselves in our room and hope for the best.

The batman/superman trailer leaked and polygon isn't happy about it:

I didn't think it looked that bad, but it's hard to tell. It's really dark and shaky. They're doing that think that people for some reason like to do with trailers where they make the booms on the music super loud and ominous. There really doesn't seem to be much to tell us what's happening. But we're still a full year away from this one coming out.
 
And regarding real world pinball, managed to get into the A-division finals set for next Thursday. Currently sitting at 3rd (out of 6 in the A division - we are the smallest of our leagues which I don't get because we have good beer!!!) Going to be moving up to 2nd, though, because the guy in 3rd isn't going to be able to make it. Top 3 are in the playoffs. Higher seed means you get more game picks in the finals.

I think I actually paid the full $20 for this and have yet to play it. I think I'm still trying to keep my Ninja Gaiden Black nostalgia alive.
