The one I have automatically switches. The link I sent you says it also switches. But like I said, I saw a lot of listings for similar ones. Just check out the info and I bet most if not all auto switch depending on which device is on.Ah, Pharm's is cheaper. I wonder if there is any real reason to get a particular one of these things.
Tyler's comes with a remote though, so probably worth the extra $3 to not have to bend down and switch it every time.
That sounds even better. The one I have automatically switches. The link I sent you says it also switches. But like I said, I saw a lot of listings for similar ones. Just check out the info and I bet most if not all auto switch depending on which device is on.
HDMI Switch:
Not sure if this is the exact one I got, cause there seem to be a ton of similar for sale. But it has worked fine for me and it automatically switches with no issues I have noticed.

Whoa, I don't even need one of these and I'm still tempted to get one.The one I have automatically switches. The link I sent you says it also switches. The one I posted auto switches too when it detects one of my devices is on. I've never used the remote before.Ah, Pharm's is cheaper. I wonder if there is any real reason to get a particular one of these things.

Barilla makes a gluten free pasta that's actually pretty good. Only one I've tried that I've liked so far.We used to make the Velvetta Shells & Cheese all the time before my wife had to go gluten free. Was really good with the cheese sauce instead of powder.
Good to know. We usually get the one with a really long name that's hard to pronounce. I usually can't tell the difference when she uses that one.Barilla makes a gluten free pasta that's actually pretty good. Only one I've tried that I've liked so far.
I have this one:I'm sure some of you guys have ran out of HDMI ports at times. Any recommendations on something like a splitter I could use? Cheaper the better, of course.
Edit:
This one looks like it might do the trick:

I'd still appreciate more opinions, though.

All of those screenshots were included in the Destructoid link I posted, so yeah, I've seen them.Vig:
have you seen the rest of the screenshots for JC3?

To paraphrase our fallen friend, "I ain't no basic switch."I am pretty sure the HDMI switch I have only auto switches if you only have one device on at a time. Its cheap for a reason. If you want multiple sources on at a time you gotta pay more to get a less basic switch.
My blu-ray/surround sound set up only has 2 outputs. So if I want surround sound, and of course I do, I only have those 2 ports to use. One goes to Directv, and the other was for my PS3. So now with the PS4 I have to switch all the time.I guess I am lucky. My tv has 5 or so hdmi ports, so I just have to switch the input I want to use on the remote. I figured most tvs have at least 3-4 these days.
Couldn't find your original post, so replying to this one.Oh man, Shenmue HD on PSN would be sooooo sweet...

TV speakers or headphones. But I dont use that switch anymore as I got a newer TV with enough inputs.I am surprised how many of you guys are using HDMI switches. Am I the only one with a HDMI switching receiver? Do you guys use a sound bar for sound or just the TV speakers?
That is pretty funny.I think the best part of those leaked Sony emails is Joel McHale emailing an exec asking for a discount on a TV.
You quoting that Shenmue post reminded me what I wanted to say about it. I tried playing it before (I was late to the Dreamcast, bought it well after I bought my PS2) and I just can't see how it can be any fun at all these days. It was boring to me when I first tried playing it, and I can't imagine that time has been very kind to it.Couldn't find your original post, so replying to this one.
Went to Target. 3 red and 3 pink DS3's on clearance, but marked at 41.xx. Took to price scanner, and sadly came up as 41.xx. I was set to pick up a few at 20.00.
If this is your your problem you might be able to solve it another way assuming your TV has a couple more ports than you expect (2 sounds really low). Does the surround sound setup have an optical in? If so, does the TV have an optical out? If you answer yes to both then you could run all things to the TV and just use an optical out from the TV to the sound system. It should take the video off the HDMI and output the sound via the optical connection to the sound system. That all falls apart if you are port bound on the TV though. My blu-ray/surround sound set up only has 2 outputs. So if I want surround sound, and of course I do, I only have those 2 ports to use. I think the TV itself only has 2 ports as well.
That blond chick is hot asWolf of Wall Street is on Netflix, if you have 3 hours to watch debauchery then check it out.

I'm pretty positive it only has 2. It's a cheap Insignia, unexpectedly had to buy one when the LCD was cracked on the last one so we weren't really prepared to buy a TV. I'll double check though. Her personality blows. That blond chick is hot asbut that movie is dumb.
It is not often I feel like a spendthrift, but you guys make me feel like that on occasion. I think this is the model receiver I have.TV speakers or headphones. But I dont use that switch anymore as I got a newer TV with enough inputs.
We just moved into a bigger place. We are having some work done in the basement soon so the house isn't setup right just yet. I have a large TV in the living room and one in the bedroom. My surround sound system isn't hooked up as the plan was to put that in the basement. We have the TV in the bedroom wall mounted and long story short only one HDMI cable is snaked in the wall right now. I can't find my other one that is long enough to work. Also it is a bit of PIA to snake and would only allow me two devices. With a HDMI switch I can move stuff around as needed and not have to worry about getting another long cable or two and snake it up the wall.I am surprised how many of you guys are using HDMI switches. Am I the only one with a HDMI switching receiver? Do you guys use a sound bar for sound or just the TV speakers?
Yeah, mine is by no means audiophile quality. I am not sure my ears can really tell that big of a difference in general, but TV speakers have always been so cheap that the sound just ends up all muddy to me. I wish sound bars were a thing back when I took the leap and went with the 5.1 setup. I would have got one of those instead and saved quite a bit of $ and time running speaker wire. Now that it is there, seems stupid to go back to that though.I just use the tv speakers for my sound. I've never been an audiophile or anything. My mom had a pretty decent Sony surround sound system when I lived at home but I never even bothered to turn it on. I also share my living room wall in my townhouse with an old retired couple so it would be kinda of obnoxious for me to get a booming surround sound system.
We just passed 100 pages. Maybe if tyler caves to the man again things will get better.I just tried posting another too long winded post about speakers and CAG just spun. I refreshed and it all went away without posting.

The Spiderman movie franchise would like to have a word with you...so now they are rebooting movies that are less than 10 years old...great
To be fair though, in that instance Sony had to do something or they would lose the license. The Spiderman movie franchise would like to have a word with you...
technically not a reboot because it is based off the amazing spiderman story line to an extentThe Spiderman movie franchise would like to have a word with you...
