Well I've made a terrible mistake. I cruised through my second play through of tales of hearts in 8 hours and I'm only at level 120. Grinding 80 levels seems insurmountable (would probably take another 8 hours) but that's the only road to the plat. Ack.
 
I bet that Wal-Mart rant pleases Zimm. Maybe they weren't so much at fault in avenged's case but I understand his frustration. Nothing ever seems to just work with them. Always a headache. People only shop there because it's ubiquituious and never fucking closes. I made the mistake of renewing my phone contract there (to save a few measly dollars) and it predictably turned into the most complicated shit in life. Went a day without a phone because I traded my old one but they couldn't figure out how to sell me a new one/the "system was down". I swear they just have people over from gardening running that shit. Idk, could just be that the ones here are exceptionally terrible.

If you want to hear some behind the scenes stories of the production (such as one cast member was working as a stripper at the time she was cast and another was homeless) they recently put together a great documentary on the film in which they talk to all the surviving cast members and several behind the scenes people. The DVD also has an interview with the writer/director Dan O'Bannon (who died before the start of the documentary) and shorter docs on RotLD 2/3.

Wait, did you not take x5 experience for your second playthrough from the grade store? Then you can cook the miso item that gives x2 experience and they stack. Then go to the secret dungeon, you'll gain a level almost every battle.

I postulate that Modern Family would be much better if they got rid of the gay family, Al Bundy, and the Mexican kid.  Ball-gag Sofia Vergara so you can only see her but don't have to listen to her and just put her in the background/foreground of every other scene.

Pinball Arcade season 2 & 4 passes for PS4 along with season 4 pass for PS3/Vita comes out this Tuesday. Season 4 starts with Phantom of the Opera and will include Addams Family when it comes out.

So what you're saying is remove 2/3 of the families and just focus on Phil, his wife and 3 kids?

Yeah the last episode aired on Thursday I think. It's online.

Fieldrunners 2 was announced about 18 months ago on the PS blog, but yeah it hasn't come out since then. Next week finally.

I voted Mindy. Tina Fey is physically hotter, but she's so fucking annoying with her goddamn credit card commercial that Mindy's lower level of obnoxiousness makes her more appealing as a result.

 
Type-0 really does look pretty interesting. I just wish they'd put more effort into upgrading it for the HD version. Watching the PSP videos, both cut-scene and gameplay, shows the "HD" version is just re-rendered at 1080p. I don't see any significant texture improvements. The only changes I can find for PSP to HD are that they cut the multiplayer out and that there were some balance tweaks and a difficulty setting added. Not sure if there are any other differences between the two versions, but charging full price for a barebones port is pretty shitty.

PPSSPP has the typical problem of the UI not looking correct at the higher resolution, but otherwise do you guys think the HD video looks better? To me the HD version looks blurry and muddled.

Yeah, $280 for XB1, AC Unity, and AC BF is pretty nice. I'm actually wishing XB1 was doing better and was worth buying with all the deals for it.

Back from breakfast with Santa at Dairy Queen. This Santa looked a little more legit, as in no blue tshirt hanging out. She was a little less amused between having just woken up and still having her cold. I'll post the pic later.
