The first war was apparently with reviewers/testers. Not sure why they wouldn't have reset that. Weirdos. Does that mean you guys didn't get the trophy? That's horseshit.
 
I am not sure if Sony fixed the timestamps that went wonky during Daylight Savings time or if the recent change back fixed them again, but for some reason my streak went back to what it was before all that.  This was pretty cool to see this morning.

When I got home I looked up the symbian thing. I never knew its name. Those things are expensive! Brb gonna start a GoFundMe page.

I'm not sure if I missed out but I'd really like to nab a Yoshi yarn amiibo. I like the blue the best, followed by green and pink in that order. If anyone sees more pop up or can nab me an extra I'd appreciate it.
 
Good Friday is so dumb.  We just need to make it a Federal Holiday and get it over with.

The Canadian, Braziian and European (probably others but I havent checked) markets and banks are all closed.  Our stock markets are closed but we still have some trading and the damn Federal Reserve is open so our banks are open.

Cleaner, I am having a slight issue with the last trophy for Sacred Citadel so I checked out the x360achievements website due to the scarce info on ps3t.  I see now why you thought it was such a grind.  There are a ton of achievements that would really suck and force you to have to play it a lot.  Most all of those are missing on PS3.  It is nowhere near as bad.  There is not all the finish the game with each character thing like on Xbox.

As of now, worst case scenario if you have a good partner is you have to level up 2 characters to level 22.  I am waiting on some info from simmias if he was able to avoid the second character leveling somehow.

Also I didnt realize the plat for Strider was worth so much.  491 TT points.  The game was not that long or overly difficult.  Surprising.  I extended my TT lead over Tyler by about 800 points from a day ago.

Well now I have to grind out the levels and the kills so I can get the plat and up my TT score by an absurd amount. brb going to beg to keep job so I can keep playing vita at work

Dang, I probably would have picked it up and played coop with you guys if I knew they went easy for PS3. Slackers!

Or not. I was up last night reading this crazy long chapter about pharmacy law. I have my first exam Monday.

There are all these rules since my work is paying for it. Can't miss more than 2 classes which makes sense because it's accelerated. If you get 2 bad exam scores (C's) in consecutive weeks they'll also remove you.

It also seems that my work blocked twitch somehow? The laptop still shows them offline like when Pancakes was streaming. But I can get it online through the app on my phone. Its strange that the site comes up, it says they are live, but it shows offline when I click on their stream.

Tried connecting to our work WiFi and nope, it doesn't work. I don't even get it to an account/password entry. It fails before then. Sucks.

Glad I got those two cheep Sackboy trophies on the bus last night because I passed out on the coach about 30 minutes into act 2 of Magrunner.  Both streaks alive and kicking!

 
Who wants to play some Expendables 2 tonight?  We need a 4 player co op trophy which is completing one chapter with all 4 people.  The guide states that the net code sucks but we should be able to get through at least one chapter.  From the guide on PS3T:

"If you do this with three other real people, you actually can just run past most enemies until you reach the scripted fights against helicopters, tanks, or other objectives.

Note: This does not need to be done in one sitting. As long as you start and complete each level within a chapter with four people, it will count towards the trophy. The game does save progress on which levels have been beaten in four player, but it doesn't tell you."

I wouldnt mind playing through more than one chapter with others but wanted to get out there that the netcode may suck bad enough that we just want to finish the one chapter for the trophy.

Oh, I tried Spotify while playing Puyo Puyo Tetris and it worked great - it's nice how it automatically mutes the game music, and the music volume seemed right automatically - but the Music app itself is pretty terrible. in My Music the album titles are cut off and there doesn't seem to be any way to sort the list. I'm not sure how it was sorted. Maybe album title? I want to see them grouped and sorted by artist. The iOS app does that. I guess you're supposed to be able to start an album remotely via the phone app? If so that's how I'll use it, but it would be nice if the PS4 app was more usable. Also the first time I launched it there was a listing of albums in My Music, but the second time that was gone and the only options were songs and playlists.

I've always meant to ask... what the fuck kind of municipalities do you guys live in that carry video games at the library? Let's see... schools are shit, traffic is shit, there are potholes in the roads... but fuck it, let's spend taxpayer money on video games for the public.

I live in a fairly well to do midwestern suburban county. They sink a ton of money in to schools and libraries. They also transfer materials between branches so they'll get 5 copies of a game but you can check it out from any of the 15-20 branches. Also, the central library has a green screen, full video editing setup, a 3d printer, open wifi and a bunch of other crazy crap. It's awesome, we just go to hang out sometimes.

I've lived in Chicago, LA, San Diego, and now Charlotte. None of those libraries have video games. Maybe it's a suburbs thing? But I guess NY has them, so who knows.

 
My library has Drive Club too. But not sure I want to bother with it. I'm not clear on if the library charges a few to borrow them or not.

 
I still really suck at typing on my phone. I think it is time i use the crutch that is autocorrect. Hey that post wasnt too bad.

Fine, I'll at least put it on hold. I'll decide later if I want to actually start it. Based on PSNP's trophy guide, the base game's trophies don't look too bad if we all start a club right away.

Usually just the first one in google, unless it's unclear, then I go to the next one. I don't like the site as well where you have to click to show the road map. I prefer the ones where the guide is in a forum post I think that's playstationtrophies.org so other people can ask questions or add their own suggestions / clarifications in case something in the guide isn't clear or someone hit a technical issue that the author did not.
