Hey pharm

You can get 40% off all Disney Infinity 2.0 via Cartwheel so you have an excuse to play it for more hours with your daughter. I know you've been missing the game so this might be the kickstart y'all need.

This is so weird to me. God of War looked like absolute shit on Vita. God of War II isn't perfect, but it's miles above what the first game was. Did they just say fuck it and not put any effort into polishing the looks on the first game?

So there's absolute no way to obtain Uncharted bounties from you awesome peeps anymore is there.

Figured I'd get the rest from my Crushing play, but that's already not the case for the first set. Bullocks.

use the guide. There are some grinding spots. I used the one early on in the game after you discover the etching the first time on the rock for the chick. Don't rememeber the details.

Also I am playing flashback and it sucks. They should have just made the old game pretty and hdified it. Their "additions" and reimagining blows.

Anyway I was stuck last night. Tempted to delete it. Glad I didn't as I just missed something small and easily passed it this morning. That's a lesson kids. Don't play games when you are falling asleep.

So I guess I'll get

R&C Nexus (even though I'm kinda burnt out on those games)

Epic MIckey 2 (how bad is it? Warren Spector did some of it?)

Pac Man Ghostly Adventures (fun platformer collect a thon?)

- tempted on One Piece Unlimited Red for the Vita but I already have One Piece piratre warriors 2 that I've never touched yet.

- Switch Galaxy Ultra (just a racer?)

I am tempted to grab the God of War collection on Vita. BB has it for $11.99 if you have GCU. I only played one of them on PS3 (first I think) and got stuck at one point and gave up / rage quit. Is it worth $12 on Vita or no?

sorry, it's hard to stay awake when you're getting fuck ed 4+ times a day.

or when you're playing boring ass games with a boring ass common man.

speaking of falling asleep, I think I just hit my mental xp grinding limit in mkx. I'll stop at a nice even level 50 and try to finish a tower with each character and then off to bby it goes. Missed out on $3 spacebucks by waiting, but I'll live.

yeah i really liked the lego movie too. im down for some awesomenauts tourny, even after that trouncing pancakes and rpg got last night. also any of you guys remember donut from the forums? He joined me for some Evolve mp last night and was asking why i havn't posted on cag in forever. I told him i just post in the ot thread now, lol. I forget how active i used to be on the other threads with flipping and deals. oh well.

Leon, Derpl, and the healer Voltar or something are my best guys in awesomenauts.

Derek, looking at your trophy list, you really should have done some of those quests in dragon's crown earlier. Lots of them are pretty easy and they give you skill points to improve your character. Some of them are just for doing stuff you do anyway, like killing certain monsters or freeing fairies. Some of the hardest ones are soloing bosses, I had a hell of a time trying to solo the red dragon. Good luck bro. also super sexy pix too some of them.

all those pix are great too cuz they add a story with them also. adds more back story kinda like souls games do. like that golden spinning wheel in the background, you click on it when you have the quest and this whole story about a spider lady. or that genie. or some random pirates on a boat. etc. good stuff

wow i love dragon's crown. I got the artbook too. It's only 64 pages, but no silly guide stuff, just art on every page :)

also anyone else have Evolve? I need to go into a game with 3 buddies i invited. iv got donut, but still need 2 more buds...

yeah, i was reading that you only get the skill points from the quests once though. that you should do them on a character you want to be the strongest. i was saving those quests for my wizard. i'll be playing the game for a good while anyway.

So if Pete asked his was it worth the $1 flash sale question again, I would probably say no for Noby Noby Boy.  What the hell was that shit?  I have already gotten enough enjoyment out of what I spent on the others for what I paid for them all, but I would have been happier if that one was left off.

I guess 315 trophy points in ~2 hours is not bad, but that "game" was remarkably stupid and I could not wait for it to be over.

No I didn't pick up anything. There were a few things that would of been cool to pick up. Did you get anything?
No, had to work a double at work and didn't get a chance to go out at all. Their was a limited edition Decemberists Picaresque record I would have snagged if I found it.

That game was terrible. And it would have only been an hour to 100% it if it weren't for the frustrating camera and controls on top of everything.

I think you can do all the quests with all the characters, I think they meant to save you from repeating them if you didn't want to. I know when I was playing the other characters I would always have 5 quests on them. I even spammed the 'revive 30 bones' cuz it is doable in the town and gives you 2 skill points and just cost $. and I thought you were going all the way with your fighter, i didn't know you were switching to wizard. Wizard is alot more item intensive, but damn, i couldn't imagine playing without him. Last week when I ran through all the other characters ending, I just ended up loving my wizard even more. He is really super op. I usually run 4 spells and 2 rods, just in case. All the rods (ice/fire/lightning) have their own unique attacks. peace man

wizard info, stolen from trophy guide.
The Wizard is the highest burst damage character in the entire game. He is also the most frail and difficult to master. Aside from his Slow and Fire Ward spells he is built to be entirely offensive at all times.

The key to having a smooth clear is to always have the right type of Rod equipped at the right time. Use Fire vs. Nature and Undead enemies, Ice vs. Demons and Dragons, and Lightning vs. Humans and everything else. Try and match up +damage to X enemy type with their natural weakness for optional damage.

Once you have the spare bag slots you should always carry a lightning Rod in every bag + a main damage source for that bag's build, then switch between the two as you encounter different enemy types.

Here's a list of his best abilities that will help you clear the game and excel at the character:

Slow - arguably the all around best anti-boss skill in the entire game, it will leave enemies sitting there helpless for almost a minute.

Thunderbolt - the second highest area damage ability in the game, right behind Meteor.

Levitation - gives 50% bonus damage while in the air at max rank, which is amazing, plus it allows you to avoid a lot of damage on the ground while your items are on cooldown.

Flame Burst - absurdly high burst damage to Natural and Undead enemies with a nearly instant item recovery rate.

Adroit Hands - reduces item cooldowns by 50% at max... an absolute must for a class that chains together items constantly.

Deep Pockets - an absolute must have because of the large number of spells he needs to have equipped.

altho I found lightning bolt annoying so I switched to Blaze, which is just constant damage, and I always ran slow/fire ward/flame burst. play however you like tho, it would be cool to have a team of 2 totally different wizards :)

i'm going to have to look into that later. i have 5 completed quests on my fighter ready to be turned in. that's going to bug me a bit, but i should have looked into it more. i still have a bunch of levels to grind out to get my fighter to 99 anyway. i'm probably going to run a lightning/ice wizard. those are the elements i usually roll with my mages in games. i'll have to see if i like the damage output though.

i had some epic runs the other day with my fighter. finished lab of chaos offline, and then ran through the first 9 floors of the mirage tower offline. i'm liking it a lot more now that i maxed some skills, and actually have powerful gear. i found a 255 fighter's bones, and i can keep my damage ticks within 20k of his on bosses. mine will shoot up more when i can equip my sword that boosts my tempest edge by 50%(99).

I love the crazy effects the tower of mirage items can give you. and you can grind them over n over to get ones with different stats. I have lots of rods now that auto regen mp like 14/sec. So I don't even have to worry about charging and can just spam magic all day. I'm down for some more epic quests later.

n yeah Evolve is just a gamefly rental. I know ill get hate for this, but my grrl and I were playing it and all I could think of was Brink. Just the mp always and cutscene structure and difference classes.

I don't know what this means.

HA: Afghanistan is done--a fun dumb light-gun shooter that was well worth the ~$1. I might start up Shattered Spear or Castle of Illusion tonight.

Best Buy has the Vita version of The Wolf Among Us for $9.99 ($7.99 w/ GCU). I'm tempted to pick it up for the easy trophies despite the slowdown issues. Gamestop has a $7 base TIV if you can finish it fast enough.

EDIT: Screw it, I bought one. #pharmingmorecommons

Tempting. Not sure I have it in me to play it a third time. Probably grab it later if it hits $5 though. Good game. Even on PS4 it lagged once or twice.

Thanks, found a store near me with instore pickup available.

It is a little tedious to play it twice, much less three times, when you already know everything that happens. But ezplats amirite?

So there's absolute no way to obtain Uncharted bounties from you awesome peeps anymore is there.

Figured I'd get the rest from my Crushing play, but that's already not the case for the first set. Bullocks.
I don't know if I have any bounties you don't already have, but I checked into the Black Market a second ago and will try to remember to keep checking in throughout the day.

I thought Near is dead now? If this some how still works I will fire up my Vita and help out but I think it is done.

I think they just dropped support for it as far as maintenance or new applications are concerned, but it's still working for things like Smart As challenges and Uncharted: GA's black market. I just received a gemstone from Zimm a minute ago.

I will try to get on in a few hours on my Vita then. About to finally start Monopoly on PS4.

Ill update in between levels of World Gone Sour too. I thought it was dead now as well.

Zimm, make sure you point to the set you want that you already passed on Crushing. No need to get the ones from later sets you are still going to play more of until that one is done.

Flashback is done. Glad I did easy play through. Not going to bother with hard play through or 100%.

The game blows.

don't remember if it was said, but star wars battlefront has been added to best buy's $10 promo. definitely a day one buy now, as if it wasn't already.

Just did a update. Received a trade from you but it was nothing as I am done. So there should be something there for you. I can't remember if you are done or not though.

Yeah, I am. I just check the game history at each break now. Unless I see Soph or Zimm or someone else get something from me, I dont even bother updating again.

GOW collection Vita $11.99 at BB with CGU. Is it worth it or is it pretty bad?
It's not bad. The first game has issues, but it has little to do with the Vita version. It's a slow, boring game in general, and something about playing it on the small screen annoyed the shit out of me. Switching over to the PSTV helped a little bit. Also it looks like a steaming turd. Actually, I'm sure a steaming turd would look a lot better.

Second game is better, because it's a better game than the first. Also it looks a lot better, like I mentioned earlier.

Easy plats on both, if you care about that.

Thanks. I have been looking at this game for cheap a few times but never seems to be available. I think I am going to grab it. If nothing else I can always play the second one if the first one sucks that bad.

Probably be a trophy whore and grab Wolf Among Us as well.

Good tip on playing the first one on Vita TV. I haven't really used mine since I picked it up.
