Well, shit. Took forever to finally get online in uncharted 2 (Happens when you don't play for a while) and then even after it says there are 2500 people online I can't find a game.

While there is no paper trail you would think it would be easy to see if someone use a specific birthday coupon 10 times a month. Other then the small amount of credit I usually have there I couldn't care less if they some how caught me using a code a couple of times and ban me. I figure all the clowns on SD and some of the guys here on CAG are much worse. I basically rather shop anywhere else first but if they have a deal that is worth it to me or give a better trade in I will shop there.

But what if someone takes that bag of shredded paper and tapes it all back together and the paper trail leads straight back to Vig? I saw it in a movie, so I'm sure it happens at gamestops around the country on a regular basis.

If they put all coupons in an incinerator every hour on the hour, then I'd do it. But as it stands, I'll keep wearing a trenchcoat, hat, and sunglasses every time I go into any store.

Isn't that what you also wear when you go to the peep shows? Then again going to GS certainly has that seedy feeling and ball sweat smell.

 
If GS cared about the birthday coupon being used over and over again or by people whose birthday it wasn't then they'd generate unique codes for each reward member or at least verify birthdays when people attempted to use it. A particular store manager or district manager might care and pitch a fit and try to stop customers from using the things over and over, but it's pretty clear that corporate GS doesn't give a shit.

...Yeah, that's why the reusable coupon will be dead after 6/30, because they're generating unique codes now.

 
I'm surprised alot of you don't play cod. All of you seem awesome at video games so I would think you would be awesome at cod mp. It only isn't fun if you die/lose alot.

I used to play a lot of COD MP from mw2 and bo1. I became more of a gamer after those with trophies, ps+, and immense backlogs so I don't play them often anymore as I don't have the time to focus on one game. I was never too good either, though I did plat Wow and mw2
 
Zimm, I forgot to mention I like your kids haircut.  I want to do that to my daughter but pretty sure she would scream and the rest of the family would not approve.

Mw2 was one of my first plats. It was so much fun trying to get through some of the Spec ops. I really need to get to the ones in MW3 soon

The last one I played a decent amount online was MW3. I hated it was bad at it. like .8 k/d. I was pretty decent at BO1 team Death match both on PS3 and XBox 360. I also played a ton of MW2. Each release I liked less and less and spent less time playing. Ghosts was the last one I bought at release (or at all actually). Decided I didn't want to sink hundreds of hours into one game anymore. So not sure if my skills got worse or I just didn't spend enough time with the game or both. I figured Destiny would be my goto MP game but kind of got burnt out on the MP on and Destiny as a whole. I haven't even tried the last DLC for it.

I liked BF4 well enough and played a fair amount of online with that but eventually got tired of the crappy online bugs / lag and sold that. I wasn't great at it but had some really good games and was playing with two other people who had mics. I actually considered buying the version you bought for $8 but figured no one I knew (other then you) seemed to be playing it. I used to play with a few people pretty regularly on BF4 and COD before that. Hardline looked stupid and the demo did nothing to impress me.

I MIGHT give the latest COD a try this November but I certainly am not looking forward to it like I used to. Depending on what else is coming out and what else I am playing I could see skipping it though.

Cool. I think I finished the survival stuff, bUT maybe missing a trophy, idk. I wouldn't mind playing some of it again though.

Edit: yea, nm. I still need to reach wave 15 in all survival maps, and buy all the items

yeah cod world at war was my first plat. that grenade spam tho. amiright

cro/diamond/etc hit me up for zombies/spec ops whenev. i just did exo survival this past week.

 my girl and i ran and ran that airplane graveyard mission in mw2 and that was intense. with those juggernauts!

yeah i play bf also. and yeah with that bestbuy glitch the only game i preordered was blops 3 cuz i know it doesn't get cheap and i know i will be playing it on release night. i never get bored shooting people. im supposed to do a clanwar this weekend but iv already got all the valkyrie/centurion armor prizes, so really no point...

OK gotcha. Fatality quoted that and just posted the tweet of me at the game yesterday. So that doubly confused me. So glad we wasted so much thread space with all this confusion and explaining. Yay off topic!

 
I just can't believe the damn Bo1 map packs are still $15, and they never sell them cheaper individually during the cod sales. I want to do all the zombie stuff on there. The WaW ones were crazy though I exploited a couple glitches to get a few of the trophies for those.

Yeah but at $6 ish a pop (as opposed to $15 for the whole thing) and streched widescreen. Vita could handle the "HD but not really" console version I'm sure.
