Why did nobody tell me that Fargo is this good? Crazy good cast, too.
I distinctively remember having a conversation in here about how I was disappointed with True Detective season 1, and I thought Fargo S1 was far better. I didn't even really like the movie that much (I watched it for the first time before the show), but I loved the series.

Asphalt: Injection is a cute little racer for Vita. Its Career Mode is far too long (I've done about 40/100 events and it's starting to feel stale) and one online trophy is super-grindy (win 100 races), but the other trophies aren't too difficult to earn. I definitely won't be going for the plat.

Bad news, Cro: No aspect of the game felt amazing.

I wanna watch Fargo but it's on Hulu and I only have Netflix. I've heard really good things about Fargo. I didn't really care for the movie either.

I'm going to be sautéed by Therm In CAG FF this week, but damn my IRL league I'm killing it. Brady, DeAndre hopkins, Denver D and kicker, ivory, Jimmy graham, and still have AP and Torrey smith tommorow

The auction free agency was definitely brought up in here when we were talking about how much it sucked that the worst team ALWAYS got their first pick on the waivers.

This Dekavita combines jkams obsession with the Vita with his overwhelming hate of anything not the Vita, such as the WiiU.. Go collect this new VitaU Gamepad!

I skipped a bunch of pages of sports talk so forgive me if this was already posted, but I just saw this in the Jap niche thread;

Yeah, it was shared a while back. Neat idea, but the size kinda kills the portability IMO. Then again I use a grip constantly and that does the same.

N64 was the greatest video game console of all time...what is wrong with you people. Did you not play Goldeneye, Mario 64, Mario Tennis, Zelda oot, Zelda mm, dk 64, conker, dk64, perfect dark and so on

I never owned a N64 and only ever played Goldeneye.  I had moved on to Playstation before N64 even released.  Nintendo was already for kids and CD was the FUTURE!

Loved my NES and SNES. Picked up the N64 controller and said fuck no. Other than a brief stint with a Wii I've not had a Nintendo console since; in the almost 20 years since the N64 they've still never put out a system without some bullshit controller setup. At this point I have no expectation they ever will again.

I would be all over something like this if I didn't think it would brick in 6 months.

I've got very little trust for third party hardware... Game Tech might as well be Mad Catz as far as I'm concerned.

I skipped from NES to the playstation. I played snes and an n64 at a friend's house but never owned anything in between. I bought a ps1 just to play ff tactics and it scratched some bizarro itch I never knew I had. Later I played some of the n64 games emulated but by then they seemed pretty dated. I'm sure they're wonderful and laced with nostalgia for the folks that grew up with them. That's Mike Tyson's Punch Out for me.

N64 is my favorite console of all time. Though I actually think the 360 is (unfortunately) probably the best console ever.

I just noticed that CAG doesn't say I'm playing Banjo Kazooie any more. Awesome. Not sure how long its been fixed, but sweet.

But now I kinda want to play Banjo Kazooie.

Na, PS1 is the reason we even had Microsoft get into the video game biz.  Sony was making so much money and creating a much bigger video game market.

Also, the first time I played Twisted Metal...wow.

Yeah never understood all the hate it gets. Sure, NOW, it's pretty fuckin awkward. But I never had issues with it back then. It's the gamecube controller that I really can't stand and never really loved.
Likewise. I've always hated the cube controller, never understood why its so popular. 64 was my favorite controller until the 360, and now the PS4.

PS controllers up until 4 have always been awkward and annoying and unfortunately they chose not to correct it for 3 generations.

Yup. Yup. Yup. Everyone was so stoked to play the new Smash with GameCube controllers, it boggled my mind.

360 controller would be the GOAT if it had a decent D-pad. X1 controller has a better d-pad but is a step back in other areas IMO.

I never had problems with the PS controllers and never heard anyone complain about them before the new 360 ones came out and were a little better and more people were playing Xbox by then. Before that it wasnt a bad controller at all. In fact I remember everyone was blown away by them when PS1 came out. So saying they had a problem for 3 generations is a little off base. Maybe by PS3 they needed an update but no one gave a shit for PS1 and 2.

Had no problems with the Gamecube controller. I always liked those shoulder buttons which had that groove for your fingers to sit comfortably.

Another controller I hated: Sega Genesis. Three buttons in a row labeled A,B, and C?   GTFO.

Ah yeah, one of those NFL in the ear of the refs "lets keep this game competitive" flags. I know PI is pretty subjective but that call is objectively TERRIBLE..

Yeah but you could use the Genesis controller on Atari 2600 tho

Colts missed one
I googled it, there were actually 4. Holy Shit! I think they said there were 8 XPs missed all of last year. Cool new rule.

EDIT: Challenge! Pretty sure I clicked post before Pitfall!

EDIT 2: Call upheld. I lose a timeout.

Pretty crazy game. I'm in Vegas and the room has this TV that raises up from in the desk. My few minutes of rest before the wife makes me go to a club. I'm getting too old for this stuff.

Out of all the terrible commercials I've seen today, there's one that stands out as the worst. Even worse than the absolute barrage of Draft Kings and Fan Duel ones that popped up at basically every commercial break.

That car commercial where the dad is like,

"So you quit your job and sold everything you own and you're just gonna drive across the country?"

"Yeah, that's the plan"

"I wish I would have done that"

Awful.

That high-pitched Peyton Manning commercial gives it a run for its money in my book.
