I don't think either of my PS4s every did either. I always go in and sync it manually.

Went with the family at around age 8. We lived in Phoenix at the time and there was snow at the Grand Canyon, which made it stand out even more. I'd like to go back since it was ages ago now, but I still remember how ridiculous it was.

At one point I slipped on some ice near the edge. No big deal, but the next week a couple of people fell to their deaths. That's what my mom remembers best about the trip. :whistle2:

My PS4 does download stuff automagically so I don't believe this has anything to do with trophy syncing.

Like Therm, mine downloads stuff automatically, so that's not it. Maybe there's some other setting hidden somewhere....

Meanwhile the Vita auto-syncs trophies like a champ.

So I started playing Dying Light last night and probably played for about 5 hours. Here's a few of my impressions:

 The feel I get is that they really don't want you to fight enemies unless it's a specific side quest or mission. Even then I still get the feeling I shouldn't be fighting them because the lack of weapon durability and the enemies strength. Regular street zombies are slow and mostly filler, but they put so many of them that it has that dead rising robotron feel. Human enemies block nearly everytime you swing at them, and those volatile things at night you are supposed to run from to escape and get xp.

The parkour is fun running up and across the top of buildings, but sometimes can be frustrating as I spent nearly 30 minutes at the train yard trying to jump from an Assassin's Creed like sync point ledge towards another ledge up high on a lamp post that I had to power up. I either fell short or hit the landing only to do some kind of table slide over it like some action movie, even though I didn't have that perk unlocked nor was I hitting the circle button. The free running is pretty cool though and did add some flow to gameplay that Dead Island never had.

It's early so I'll keep playing a bit more and unlock more skills , but right now I feel like I want to kill zombies and the game doesn''t want me to. At least not yet.

It's...ok, they've kinda been spinning their wheels the last 4 episodes dealing with that fallout, but with the ending of E4 it looks like they are going to move focus back on the season long arc starting with E5.

 
So most of my first day of vacay is gone and all I got to show for it is a migraine (getting better but still there a bit somehow even though I took like 3 excedrin, two 500mg tylenol and two advil.  Do those cancel each other out?  Might be time to bring out the big guns.), a cleaner bathroom, rearranged house (shit is how I like it now though.  TITEISRIGHT!), a new bottle opener (important shit right here!), and a new contact lense script so I can order my 2016 supply.

JC3 cant come soon enough tomorrow.  Though I have to go pick it up at BB, my mom wants to go to lunch first.  So free food and then JC3 the rest of the day tomorrow. hype (too tired to yell now).

Mild, you mentioned getting the blue vita, partly because your old one was showing some wear and tear.  What issues were you having with it?

Pharm, you finished Dead Nation on Vita.  I'm having an issue where I hold down my right shoulder button to charge the rifle, however, instead of charging, it will just fire, as if I let go of the shoulder button even though I didn't.  Did you have that issue also?  Wondering if it is the game, or if my vita is starting to show signs of needing replacement.

Surprised nobody answered this. I'm not incredibly far into the game, but I'm liking it quite a bit. It's extremely silly and the trophy lists for all of these games require heavy grinding. They're very cute, though. Since there are 3 ReBirth games available plus the Noire game and Action Unleashed and other upcoming titles I'd say dipping your toe in at $6 is definitely worth it. If you like the game there's plenty more. Plus Fairy Fencer F is by the same people and uses the same basic system as well.

That would be pretty cool. Kratos is such an absolute douchebag that having some new character come in behind to show the aftermath would be a really neat perspective shift. It'd never happen, but that kind of viewpoint would be a very fresh direction to take the series in.

I've had this with two of my vitas actually - the triggers and d-pad start getting really clicky and creaky. Like really loud creaks. I just use the shit out of it so it's not a huge surprise. Never any brokenness though.

User error always a possibility. I should mention it isn't 100% of the time. Maybe 10% of the time. It could be that my finger moves on the button slightly while holding it down, and it registers as it being released. Just thought I would run it by you since you just finished the game.

This is on PS4. XB1 version problems are way way worse--including that the game goes to shit after about an hour of play. XB1 version also has load times up to 15 minutes.

I've known about Think Geek. Some of the stuff is really cool and makes me laugh but I would never buy it for the prices they ask. Its fun to look at though.

Oh, they're fun enough while I'm playing. Afterwards I can't remember anything about the story or the big events, though. They all kind of run together into one huge meaningless mess. Chains of Sparta is the most recent one I played and I can barely remember anything aside from the basic premise of
Kratos having a brother that was captive for some reason or other.
I remember who the end boss was but don't have a clue what was supposed to drive the story forward other than the rescue mission. :whistle2:k I remember even less of 2 which I last year.
