It snowed here for a few hours this morning. It wasn't cold enough to stick. The boy and I met some other dads and sons for flag football in the snow, though. It was cold, but fun.

ManUre lost so that was good. Young guy Alli for Spurs had a sensational goal, volleyed over a dudes head then did a spin around kick on the volley and laced in the corner past the keeper. Was a thing of beauty.

I think I'm done with minutes. Got all the powerups and finished all the levels. After the first set of levels there's exactly one more level (55 maybe?) that plays how I wish the game played. The other 49 levels I could do without.

Edit - tyler how long did it take you to pick up 5 perfects? Are the requirements 3 stars + 100% + no damage or do you have to get the happy face too? Ive only gotten a perfect on the first one, the rest seemed too awful.

I guess I'll buy a $20 card, but I don't know if I want anything other than Hotline Miami and Knytt Underground for $2. I thought about getting The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, but it's only a couple hours long so I think I can wait for it to hit a lower price or even better Plus.

 
Also just scored four Lego Dimensions Fun Packs for $3.75 each thanks to the price match/Cartwheel discount double check. I may be addicted.

Yeah, TVoEC seems like a good Plus candidate. I don't know why, but it just does.

 
I give up on measuring the snow. It's been snowing heavily for hours and I measured 12" again. I guess it's just all getting blown onto whatever object it can pile up against.
 
The good news is I'm measuring on the walkway, so if that stays at 12" of fluffy snow I'll be alright shoveling out tomorrow. The cars are a different story. They are getting buried with drifts and no plows yet so they are going to get dumped on by them too.
 
Need for Speed Rivals is great. So far I've stuck to the Racer career. I'm bad at it and wreck and/or get busted all the time and lose my money, but still lots of fun.

Well, it did suck until I switched it to single player. That's a must. Otherwise you get the aggravating "migrating host" periodically, sometimes frequently.
 
I went out to shovel some...have a least a foot if not more and not stopping until 3am. Used my small snow blower but I have a driveway that's too big. Got maybe half of it done. I might try to keep going out in small spurts....we'll see. Hopefully the sun is out tomorrow. Lol. 

Now for some lunch!

Started around 10am here 70 miles or so North of NYC. Got a bit over 1 inch so far. We are right on the edge of the storm. If it pushed a bit more North we will get about 8 inches according to most reports. If not less. 3-6. Not doing much of anything now.

I love hearing snow stories, especially when they don't involve Southeastern Wisconsin. We have snow on the ground from awhile ago and the roads are clear. Just the way I like it.

Also 2 of my favorite bad/cheesy movies are on the Syfy channel today. The Fifth Element and Galaxy Quest.

I will be forever grateful to yahoo for another season even if it was a really boneheaded business move on their part. The only way you make any money off streaming originals is if you own the IP and can get extra money by selling broadcast rights in other countries + home video purchases.

I really like the EPL, but almost all the matches are on early. Saturday is my one day I get to sleep as late as I want, so even if I get up around 10 or 1030am, there's sometimes one match left to watch and sometimes it's already all over for the day.

5 perfects wasn't hard, probably less than an hour. I didn't do the first 5 levels, I think i did 4 of the first 5, and then like level 8 or something. The one with the little bouncing dots. You just use slo mo powerup on that one and it's a synch.

You have to have the smiley guy to get the perfect, but you don't have to get it in the same run as you get the 3 stars + 100% + no damage. And you actually have to get the smiley guy first. So go through the level looking for him and start learning the patterns, then start your perfect runs.

Watching Man in the High Castle. I watched the first episode when it was originally available and thought it was boring as shit. The concept really interests me though and the wife wants to watch it, so here we go!

The wife and I finished watching the season the other night. I liked it, but I will say it was slow in some parts. I think Mild said he thought it was or got weird after he finished watching it. After watching the final episode, I see what he meant. I'm looking forward to reading the book next month.
 
On the other hand, we started watching Making a Murderer last night. I'm not sure it's for me. I fell asleep about twenty minutes into the first episode. In fairness to the show, it was a long week at work; and a really long day, yesterday. I was nakered when we started watching it last night. I'll give it another episode or two.

Edit: The wife liked it, so it may turn into one of those 'You watch that and I'll play video games' shows.

I tried this yesterday with 3 fun packs but somehow only the 1st took the Cartwheel after price match. I had a basket with maybe 10 small items and normally whoever is at customer service will let me buy everything there. I was the only person in line and the lady said they could only do it if it was 5 items or less. I obviously wanted to double dip so I asked if I could add 2 items and I'll take the rest to another counter. Instead she did something where it printed the prices on a small receipt and she scanned it at a regular register. Then she kept fucking up because she rescanned the fun packs and then reversed them because it would have double charged me. I'm pretty sure all that fucked up the discount. Debating returning the 2 that were more expensive.

Ouch. Shitty register people are the worst. I was lucky to get a young girl who didn't give a shit and rang up all my shit and let me Cartwheel away.
 
Just walked up the street to get our youngest from a friends house. Ok, now there's at least two feet. Argh.

We should have started shoveling earlier, but it was super windy and I figured it would just fill back in. Yeah, probably a mistake. At least we have two kids to help shovel tomorrow.

I got those Nashville hot chicken tenders from KFC today. They are so fucking good. I think they're almost better than anything I've gotten from Popeye's, and I love Popeye's.

 
I had shoveled a neighbor's sidewalk the last few times our area had a bit of snowfall, and while I was clearing my driveway full of 2-foot-high snow this afternoon, he brought his snowblower and used it on about half of the driveway, saving me at least an hour of work.

Awesome neighbors are awesome.

I'm tempted to preorder the Storybook Edition of Odin Sphere just to use my Amazon credit on something, but for all I know, it'll be like Persona 4: Dancing All Night's CE and drop in price after release. Then again, it could also go the way of Demon's Souls' CE and get harder to find.

got all the trophies in diablo except 500 bounties and everyone level 70. what an awesome game.

Here's a crazy vid of me getting the treasure goblin trophy, i found like 10+ of them doing a torment V rift

also the pic when it popped and smile happy land where i almost got killed by a rainbow unicorn.

so far the closest iv been to death is when the enemies explode and you get stuck in the blast it is deadly.

thank god for spirit vessel.

 you can see those explosions in the goblin video below. avoid at all costs. worse than the lasers even.
