PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

got all the trophies in diablo except 500 bounties and everyone level 70. what an awesome game.

Here's a crazy vid of me getting the treasure goblin trophy, i found like 10+ of them doing a torment V rift

also the pic when it popped and smile happy land where i almost got killed by a rainbow unicorn.

so far the closest iv been to death is when the enemies explode and you get stuck in the blast it is deadly.

thank god for spirit vessel.

you can see those explosions in the goblin video below. avoid at all costs. worse than the lasers even.

You still got cod ghosts by any chance?

I think I might have asked before, but how important is Hobbit/LotR knowledge in enjoying Shadow of Mordor? Outside of most of the main guys in LotR, I'm pretty clueless on plot points from the movies and know zilch about anything from The Hobbit series.

Minimal. I think theres only two or three characters from the movies who show up in the game. Otherwise it is just a blend of Assassins Creed and Arkham set in Middle-earth.

Pretty much its own story I think, has some stuff that ties into lotr but not much, I think you should be fine.

edit backlogged or frontlogged, not sure which.

ill pick up ps4 ghosts if i see it for $10 or something like that, i just was not wanting to get all dlc again tho, so it would only be that first contact level.

also heroes of loot is awesome. i mean, i only played it for a few days, but last time i checked i was still in the top 10 globally, so i gotta support it ;)

I got those Nashville hot chicken tenders from KFC today. They are so fucking good. I think they're almost better than anything I've gotten from Popeye's, and I love Popeye's.
Have you had real Nashville hot chicken? The couple of people around here I've seen comment on the KFC version were pretty disappointed.

It really doesn't have anything to do with the Hobbit/LotR stuff, plot-wise. SoM has an absolutely pointless story and the main two characters are worthless anyway. Outside of Gollum you probably won't recognize anything from the LotR universe at all--it had the license slapped on it but it has nothing to do with the series. The game is just about the gameplay--warping around and slaughtering orcs and having fun with the Nemesis system is where it's at.

BTW, Battlestar Gallactica is available on Hulu now. It just got added. It's not been on any of the streaming services for a while so that might interest some of you.

He may have mentioned if he has ps3 or ps4 version. If he is playing ps3 version, he won't get to use the Nemesis system, or at very least it is a gimped version of it.

On the other hand, we started watching Making a Murderer last night. I'm not sure it's for me. I fell asleep about twenty minutes into the first episode. In fairness to the show, it was a long week at work; and a really long day, yesterday. I was nakered when we started watching it last night. I'll give it another episode or two.
Edit: The wife liked it, so it may turn into one of those 'You watch that and I'll play video games' shows.
See if you can stick with it. It is captavating stuff. Especially when you get to the trial. You will be throwing things at your TV in no time.

I rented Sicario and Man From UNCLE and enjoyed both. Too bad Uncle didn't do well enough to warrant a sequel. I enjoy period spy entertainment and believe it was based off an old TV show.

When I saw trailers for Uncle I kept thinking it was Felicity Jones as the main chick. It's Alicia Vikander, the girl from Ex Machina. I like her. She's in The Danish Girl which I wanna see too.

Anyone gonna play Tomorrow Children? I think the stress test is right now. Might stream if it downloaded already. I got an extra code for Kill Strain beta if anyone wants that. Please, only ask if you'll actually play it. It's a multiplayer action game.

Going to complete Lego Batman 3 tonight. Best one of these games so far. It's way more fun to play as various dc characters than just Batman & Robin with different suits like in the first two games.

Then I guess I'll start back at the beginning, get all the red & gold bricks and try for the plat.

Wife came home sick from work, which means that I'll likely get sick in about a week.

That nemesis system in mordor is an absolute blast. The way the game remembers so much stuff and the intricacies of how you killed them and who did what and fears/etc. so fantastic and added such a hardcore personal touch.

I had shoveled a neighbor's sidewalk the last few times our area had a bit of snowfall, and while I was clearing my driveway full of 2-foot-high snow this afternoon, he brought his snowblower and used it on about half of the driveway, saving me at least an hour of work.

Awesome neighbors are awesome.
When I lived in Anchorage I would usually just shovel the drive even though we had a snowblower. It required a major dumping (like this 2-3 feet that you guys are getting) to necessitate the snowblower.

It took more physical energy just to hold back and direct the snowblower as opposed to shoveling.

It helps a lot that it's an original story rather than following along with a movie or series of movies that I'd already seen.

The commentary from the spirit guide on the forced video is terrible. Still want to buy the game, but I really hope he's quiet in game, or I can turn him off at least.

I somehow ended up buying 2 copies. One to play someday, one for me to poop on apparently.
i bought a few copies when it got cheap and platted and then flipped, but i remember it was always on sales and i felt bad for anyone that liked walking dead and then bought the game and then realized it was shit. i played it for the trophies, but that is sad if people actually buy games like that and snoopy and adventureland and intend to keep and play them for enjoyment. even my kids are like yeah it was playable enough and off it goes

check out youtube and the whole group of zombies qte to dodge is horrible, horrible. it hurts my mind to just think of it

and i platted rogue warrior just a month ago, i love horrible games

Need to hurry it up with some DLC, im ready to go back to the Commonwealth.
I never left, this game is a slow burn type to savor. I've barely done any story, am level 46 and have like 130 hours in. :D/

DLC can take its time for me. I want it to be done really well and not feel rushed to get into it.

Way to get the lego batman 2 ps3 plat after 3 years, dedication.

:applause:
Thanks, trying to clean up some games in the backlog I started at some point before getting into anything new. I'll be in the Ni No Kuni one next month. I got to the second section of the map and then stopped.

Snow pics from my apartment.

3:30pm yesterday, about an hour after it started.  Thank god they gave me the whole day off of work! (Most of that on the tennis court is leftover from wedneday)

Man, Nuclear Throne is like crack. My biggest gripe about rogue-likes is that I never feel motivated to start the game all over again after dying, but that's not an issue with this. Everything goes so fast and the shooting is super fun. It's also pretty easy to regain health so you never feel like a run is a lost cause if you screw up. Recommended the game at full price, but it's a no brainer if on sale.

Sicario's the one with Emily Blunt and the crazy open, right? That movie was damn good. I thought U.N.C.L.E. was kind of meh.

I have a small theater near me that gets all the Oscar movies around this time, so I try to go see them all this time of year. Tonight I saw Brooklyn, which was better than I thought it would be. The female lead (she has some crazy Irish name I'm not going to remember) is up for best actress, and she was pretty damn great.

Made my flash purchase.

Forced

Aces of luftwaffe

Tennis in the face

Table top racing

Infected wars 2013

I'll make up for it by counting GTA trilogy as one game.
