A friend tells me you can continue a streak in Amplitude. It requires switching tracks immediately after the last note in a track sequence. I thought I was doing that, but I guess not fast enough? Going to try some more tonight.

Mixed bag. The story started out pretty interesting. The last chapter seems to drag on and on with a lot of teenage angst BS. There is even less gameplay than Telltale games so if you do not care for the story it is going to be painful. Almost all of the trophies are tied to collectibles.

Gator and Simmias disliked it from what I recall. I on the other hand enjoyed it. Definitely my favorite out of the telltale-ish type games.

Don't think it's your cup of tea though. Better off playing crappy PS3 games or turbo-ing some fighting game.

Honestly, most telltale games you can choose to just let it run until you have to do a QTE and then go back to letting it run and still get them tropheez.

 
i let my son play tales from the borderlands and my wife play life is strange. i just gotta find time for them to do that when im not playing  ;)

n yeah so far on diablo 3 iv got a level 25 hardcore witchdoctor and level 35 demon hunter and crusader

I know a lot of people like the TFTB "game" but I havent been paying any attention to it since episode 1. I just watch football and now OITNB while "playing" it. I am sure TWD is the same no? Just hit buttons once in a while. Every now and then I see a Game Over screen and then I know I have to pay attention for 2 minutes when I restart.

Remote Play is awesome for "games" like this.

Too bad you paid attention to the least interesting episode of the game.

ETA: And all Telltale games are like that. There are a few of them that have spots where you have to do certain things for trophies, but not that many. The Wolf Among Us probably has the most.

na. I dont care for graphic novels which is basically what this thing is. It isnt a game. Im only even "playing" it since I can do other things while it runs. And it was free of course. I wouldnt have even paid a $1 for it. I know these things arent for me ever since BTTF.

Definitely buy a Mustang fighter plane when you have extra cash (15,000) once it is unlocked. It lets you target anywhere on the map and strafes a straight line of the battlefield with machine gun fire. Rotate the camera and this changes the path of the plane, line up the green line (which represents the path of the plane and the downward angle of the machine gun fire) with as many enemies as possible, place the attack point near the center of the line of enemies and trigger the attack. It will strafe pretty much the entire length of the screen (and 3ish feet out perpendicular from the green line on either side) with gunfire.

That's quite useful when say a big group of them are behind a wall covering your apporach, I took out 4 that way in one sweep.

Though you can only use it on levels which have fuel available (it takes 20) and all the levels so far which offer fuel only offer 30 so there isn't a point to buying more than one fighter.

This thread doesn't really like it, but the vast majority of people love it.

The only way you're going to like it is if you play it for the story though, like it's meant to be played. If you just play it to rush through or for trophies or anything I'm sure you won't like it.

Yeah, you don't have to pay much attention unless you want to know the story. I don't hate this style 'game' but I definitely can't play them for more than an hour at a time. I get bored. After about an hour I just decide I'd rather go read a real book or play a real game.

Double hard for me to pay attention to them since I'm 'playing' TWD and until dawn at the same time.

Yeah a hybrid drive will take some time to prioritize what is used the most, so the OS should be the first thing to get a boost. I'm wondering if games you play often would see better loading times. Let us know.

Backlog hope things work out for you. It sucks reading about your situation because it sounds like your son just wants to live with you and his grand parents. Like others here said document everything and if it's for the best interest in your son. Courts suck and I know it a pain for everyone. My friend got full custody of his twins after he documented that his ex wasn't picking up the kids for visits, not really showing the best interest for them with their living conditions, and the straw that broke the camels back was when he showed the courts she wasn't using the child support money on the kids so they awarded him full custody.

Hopefully you get the best result for your son that makes him the happiest in this situation.

This is good but also bad. Sucks to hear the mother of your child is such a fuck up. As much as I hate my ex wife personally she takes care of our kid very well and can be trusted to do the right thing for her financially and physically. Mentally may be another story though as I think she and her mom are telling my daughter to hate me or the things I like.

Even though Final Fight, Streets of Rage and the Simpsons beat em ups are crappy I enjoy all of them.  Cause they are easy/basic and I am a basic bitch for sure.

If she is telling your daughter things like that, it will just bite her in the ass later. As kids get older they will decide what they think of their parents based on the interactions with them and not what someone else said about them. Even if it is happening, you got to ignore it and deal with your ex-wife in a civil manner. That will be a lot more important in deciding what your daughter thinks of you long term.

That Simpsons arcade game got delisted didnt it? I'm bummed I never grabbed it on sale the couple times it was after I got my PS3. Loved playing that in the arcades.

Final Fight and Streets of Rage 1 & 2 were awesome. Love those beat'm ups from the past and damn final fight ate pockets full of quarters.

I act civil even when the ex brought the kid over before New Years and was yelling at me for taking her over to my moms house at 6pm at night NYE. She was acting like I was taking the kid into a war zone because it was NYE and there are drunks all over the road. Even though I assured her I would be home by 9 at the latest that night because I too wold be concerned about drunk drivers and our daughter has a bed time. Our daughter was crying as she brought her to the door already because apparently she was yelling before she got there. I had to calm her down and tell our daughter it wasnt her fault and her mom wasnt mad at her.

Yeah I'd much rather her just straighten out and be the mother he deserves, no question. But she's not right now and he doesn't deserve to be put through all that shit just so she can say he "lives" with her to get a little extra cash each week and preserve her reputation. He still loves her but he doesn't feel at home with her because of the environment she's creating for him.

The thing is everyone thought I was a real POS when we split and I ended up with another woman so fast (which I didn't mean to happen but hey it did and I'm happy as hell). They didn't know what went on behind closed doors and what type of person she really was, but now all that's coming to light.

 
Backlog's story is why I believe we really need to figure out a way to sterilize most of the population.  That woman and her family shouldnt be allowed to procreate.

Found out I get $50 reimbursement from my insurance agency for disablement and towing, so I'll get $50 from back when my car wouldn't start in September.

Also probably going to cancel that protection in the future since I'm sure I'll forget about it if/when I ever need to get towed again. Only reason I remembered I had it this time was because my agent wanted to do a full review of my insurance with my new car.
