I want to buy a new PS3.  (I won $600+ at the casino last night.)  Old fat one bit the dust a couple years ago, and the hair dryer trick only worked long enough for me to eject Oblivion from the console.

Is the model and deal at Walmart an OK route?  Every used PS3 I've ever seen looks filthy.

I wish I didn't sell my PS3 collection, but whatever.  They're ridiculously cheap these days.  I did keep Ni no Kuni, Nier and Deadly Premonition.

And, yay!  I found RE4 at the pawn shop for $13.  They had the Telltale Batman for $19.99.  I probably should have gotten it, but for some reason I feel like I won't even play it.

Could always do amazon warehouse deals, there are two like new for $96.65 that is the same model as the walmart deal for $150, one of them is listed as factory sealed so it's probably just a dinger.

I spent the whole night playing mp. I just started trying out the sp stuff today when I realized I wasn't getting any shiny trophies.

It'd be nice to have someone to do coop with though. The dlc stuff is tough as shit with randoms but I managed to clear it on normal with a team. Dunno how you do it on the harder difficulty.

Is there a preferred way to let someone at TrueTrophies know to add a trophy list? They still don't have a separate list for LRG's release of Soldner-X 2 (the one with the plat), and I used their site to send a message almost a month ago, but I haven't heard back.

Treyarch just dropped that video. so much epicness. 1.0 souls turning young and actually meeting the 2.0 older selves, distributing and drinking the blood vials, monty and shadowman confrontation, etc. i'm hyped for thursday but ready for if nothing happens at all ;)

also gta online bikers dlc just dropped today

 
also Darkest Dungeon is super awesome, and the key to playing transformers is the same as bayonetta, just constantly spam parry/dodge every other button input

Just two full playthroughs (Hard mode from scratch + S-Rank Hard mode with Leech Hunter bonuses) and one complete Leech Hunter run left for the RE0 plat.

 
What do you guys think of The Evil Within. It's been in my backlog for a while.

I'm playing RE4 Remaster when I have free time. It took me 30 minutes to get back into the (rather) archaic controls, and I'm having some nice nostalgia injections.

Was considering moving on to The Evil Within after, and maybe onto another horror title for the month of October.

Need to lap Nurburgring with an AMG and the 2007 GT-R, then do the Red Bull challenges, then the GT5 Gold Standard trophy is mine.

Of course, those are the hardest races/challenges in the game, so...

I will definitely add you, I'm getting killed trying to do the flag boss wave solo.

evil within is a great game. It's a different game than RE4-6 even though it plays similarly - they supplement the concept of limited ammo that's popular in action survival horror games with variety (stealth kills, group bad guy torching with matches, crafting crossbow stuff, etc). there's some technical issues but you don't notice them after the first hour unless you obsess over that sort of thing - weird letterboxing, pop in, etc.

keep in mind that a lot of the game is designed to troll you with some insta-death scenarios that seem unavoidable first time through, invisible enemies, and explosives hiding around corners when you enter an empty room. if you're able to laugh that sort of bullshit off and try again, you'll love the game.

I've never seen those but I've heard of them and I don't think I'd enjoy it. I'm actually not a huge fan of violence/gore/etc, but I'm able to tolerate it for a good video game. I even turned off the blood in attack on titan!

 
Anyone else have Disney Infinity PS4 3.0?  I need to play 6 more games in the arcade.  Been watching some Gears 4 game play while I wait and can't get a game going.  Want to finish this up as it will be shutdown in March.  Last online trophy I need.

If anyone else has it and needs to do all 10 games I would stick around for all 10 if needed.

I see Topside got the plat last month (only noticed since when I browsed in the game it showed he recently got some trophies).  I ended up playing one of his toy boxes for easy XP or whatever they call.  

Thought I could finish this tonight or tomorrow night before Gears on Friday.

Use a second controller to fill up one of the roster spots... cuts down on matchmaking. I can help you out if you keep having trouble with it but as you know my availability is spotty. Shouldn't take long though if we can find a time that works.

I thought about that but doesn't the second user/controller need PS+ to play online?

Yikes, why on earth would you run through Leech Hunter on Hard? That's going to not be fun at all trying to get 100 leeches. Unless you got the 100 leeches on Easy instead of Normal?

You should just shoot for an S-Rank Hard run from scratch, that would be easier. Or S-Rank Normal if you did your 100 leeches on it would be cake.

Listen to Topside and do the 2 controller thing. You should be able to get someone else trying to do the same thing from what I have been told. Apparently a lot of people are trying to get it lately. If you cant get it that way, I can try to help at some point, but like usual, I wont be available on Friday.

Yeah, my first run was on Easy in order to get the misc. trophies with less hassle, so Leech Hunter was also on Easy.

I found an S-rank Hard Mode-from-scratch playthrough on Youtube that I'm going to try following (already finished the Train) since I also realized doing that would probably be easier than getting all 100 leeches again on Hard. However, I forgot that I'm going to have to play another half-playthrough on Hard NG+ so I can get the other Custom Handgun for the All Weapons trophy.

...Actually, won't I need to get all 100 leeches again anyway so I can get the Magnum Revolver on this save file? If so...*sigh*
