PSPgo - Piano Black
Sold by: Warehouse Deals, Inc
Congrats on getting one "Like New" complete with box and extras! My "Like New" white one from Amazon had no box or anything extra, just the system and AC adapter, but it was in mint condition and works perfectly, so I'm not complaining. The other LN units from AWD look to cost a lot more though, mine was only $80.

are the go's you guys are getting from totalconsole refurbished by any chance? there's a few up there but they're suppose to be refurbs

I'm considering TotalConsole. The one I got from GameStop was complete shit (scratch on the screen, dirt all over including in the M2 logo, large scratches on the back) but I enjoyed the console and it reminded me how much I like the PSP (I also found a 16GB new M2 stick on eBay for $15 which helped) and I'd really like to get another one.

Suggestions?

Don't forget Craigslist! Just bought one for $40 in good condition. Back is slightly scratched, but everything else checks out :)

Serious question: why did you pay that much for a PSPgo when a Vita from Cowboom costs just a little bit more? I think you said you have three Vitas. I have two myself and $99 was a steal for them. When I compare the two, a Go would seem like a ripoff after that considering the PSN store will shut down soon for PSP.

Downloading games straight from psn is slowwww as fawk on the psp anyhow. Use a PC or ps3 and transfer. Vita is pretty lame by most all accounts hah

I do already have two Vitas, but I am a collector, always loved the original PSP and only got a few Go systems recently (have a bunch of 1000/2000/3000 PSPs already). I like having a variety of handhelds, partly to have backup systems in case one goes down.

Now if I found another OLED Vita in mint condition at a good price, I'd probably get one. Even a slim Vita (new) if a deal comes up.

*Cough*COUGH*emulation*COUGH*COUGH*COUGH*

PSP can't be beat for it IMO.

Also - Looks like Gamestop restocked the black PSP GOs. They are available again.

Sweet, I'm gonna grab a couple from GameStop and hopefully one will be scratch free and I'll return the other.

Anyone know of good places to buy the Cradle/Component cable?

Go get 'em...sorry the cradle is pretty expensive.

BTW...My PSP Go from TotalConsole (AW-Fulfilled) came in last night and it was SPOTLESS. I'll get some photos of it uploaded soon.

Also I've been on a quest of finding every PSP I can get my hands on...the horror stories of Gamestop Refurbished are true - I've went through two PSP 2Ks that were "refurbished"...one had a 3K door that sometimes caused "Do you want to quit the game?" screen while this second one has a rough analog stick...and for some reason, lubricants don't work either (and please don't tell me to stop off at a Fascinations shop to get premium lubes; it won't work on the stick...lol). I guessed used is better in that case; they don't get their grubby hands on the internals.

One more thing I'd like to add...I probably cannot play several of the UMD-bound games on the Vita...unless I hack it up...and unlike the PSPs, it ain't as pretty getting it to work from my research.

Still a Vita's down the road, but since I've waited about...9 years to own one of these things, I'm having more fun with these PSPs than I probably should be.

Just received my PSPGO from Amazon (Totalconsole). It is pretty much spotless! The only inperfection I found was a tiny scratch on the side where you plug in the charging cable. You can't even see it when using the system. Extremely happy overall, and thanks for the poster who mentioned about this option as well as providing the pics. Next up is modding it : )

If anyone is looking for one. I might sell my black one I got from GS since I picked up a white one to match my vita.

Pretty spotless with screen protector and CFW installed. Battery and all buttons work great.

Think there might be one stuck pixel but I don't see it all the time.

Have. A. Look! That thing is just flawless in looks; if only it had a UMD drive. Tsk, tsk.

Silver PSP is a 2000. Black PSP is a 3000. I put them side by side  for your viewing pleasure.

I can verify that the Go screen does NOT suffer from any ghosting, scan lines, or even the "extra tinting" that IGN claimed in a review on the 3000.

BTW, that's the 2K that has the bad analog stick.

I may get a total console one if these both arrive with issues (I already returned one but with GS it ends up being a little cheaper). And I already have a 1000 from waaaay back in the day (not sure where the charging cable went).

The cradle seems like it's necessary only since there's no other AC input, right? And how do the games look on the big screen?

The cradle is not necessary, it is mainly for hooking the PSP Go up to a TV (dock the Go in the cradle, then hook up AC and component cables from cradle to TV). The image didn't look great on my TV, I use a 37" Samsung. The image is letterboxed and fairly small on the screen, unless your TV has a mode to make it full screen. Even then, it doesn't look great to me. I think Vita TV will have a much better TV image quality with PSP games.

The Go has it's own AC adapter with it, with a proprietary USB cable that plugs into it. Here's a 3rd party AC adapter for the Go by Eforcity (Sony AC adapters should come with the system):

How much was the PSP GO sold by totalconsole?

In case any of you are looking for a case (see what I did there), check out the links below.

PSP Carry Case Hard $4.99

PSP Carry Case Soft  $2.99

These are in store only and YMMV. Although it just says "PSP", it can be for any psp model, even the go. I guess they just grouped all the psp cases together into one sku. I went to my store and they had a bunch. Ended up getting a hard case for the go for $4.49.

For some reason they rarely list the gamestop near me for instore pickup. I remeber last year during the holidays there weren't even listed on the find a store map. Then been at that location for years too.

Nope, the cradle's not a necessity...extra USB cables probably are though.

$69.99...but I'm sure you figured that out by now.

YMMV to the XTREME; I've seen some of these "soft cases" actually be cases or even silicone sleeves like this:

So yeah, you may want to give a call first...no...you should give a call; lately I've been trying to hunt down PSPs in good condition (luck and me are total strangers still though) and I get a lot of runarounds like "Oh, we sent that stuff to another store."
