Ron "The Truth" Killings has also verbally told TNA that he is leaving the company. How tragic.
Which makes this little nugget of info so much tastier
Some people in WWE want to bring back Rikishi and Brian Christopher to reform Too Cool, and to bring in Ron Killings to be a member of the group.
Welcome back to lower-mid card hell, K-Kwik.

Though both are victims of the one hour timeslot of impact, Monty Brown really has no reason to want to leave as far as where he is on the card IMO. Hell before he was injured he was fighting for the title and still remains high on the card for every PPV. Killings has more room to bitch, but like Sporadic said there is no way he gets above the mid card.

Paltalk wrestling room is open.. www.paltalk.com .. streaming audio. If you pay $15 for a month (or $60 for a year), you get streaming video.

I have streaming video and audio and it's perfect.

Download PalTalk, register, go to rooms, click adult, choose TWR The Wrestling Room.. come talk with us about Summerslam, live!

Scorchie worchie!!! :grouphug:

Buy yeah, myke hit the nail on the head about TNA. It just seems they have absolutely no idea what they're doing.

I found the Wrestlemania 22 DVD set (3 disc collector's edition) used a few minutes ago.. it was marked $9.99.. the price tag said "Wrestlemania XIX 2003".. who cares, it rang up for $9.99, I was happy
Nonsense, he'd have to bring back that great "K-Kwik" nickname.

Summerslam... the last time Batista and Cena were both the challengers for the belt, they both won, I see a repeat of that tonight. Big Show retains, Flair and Foley both supposedly want to lose this match for political reasons (and I'd assume to then win the final blow off match between them) I see Foley winning tonight, Orton wins, DX continues to roll, and Chavo beats Rey, as this fued goes nowhere if Rey wins the first match.
Tell me more about Foley/Flair - an "I Quit" match is pretty final as far as feuds go - so why do both want to lose? Is it a backstage ego thing, where both have legitimacy to gain by refusing a post-career (where both truly are at this point) major win? Who wants it less, or who has the most humility? Perhaps it's in part b/c I buy into the storyline, but if I were Foley I'd kill the sonofabitch.
If Too Cool is reformed, I will give up watching everything but ROH.

Thank God football season is around the corner so I have a alternative if Raw gets any worse.

At least when Too Cool dances it's funny on purpose. Ron Killings takes it so seriously I can't help but laugh. I can't stand to see that man dance.

In regards to TNA all I can say is that with Jarrett dominating the title scene and WCW 2000 being brought in (Sting, Steiner, Nash), it really doesn't surprise me that some guys are ready to leave. The X-Division is the one thing TNA really has going for itself but it doesn't seem to get the steady support that it should.
Thank God football season is around the corner so I have a alternative if Raw gets any worse.
Touche! I do get to go see the Bengals/Packers preseason next Monday, so I genuinely hope it's an awful Raw ;)

I wonder if Monty Brown and Ron Killings leaving will give TNA a hint that even the wrestlers are fucking sick of Jarrett, and that changes need to be made?

Somehow I see Ron Killings and Monty Brown coming in together and starting some sort of hybrid between the Nation and the Radicalz.

The problem with people getting sick of Jarrett is that none of them can do as good a job as him. Looking at TNA and WWE, he is by far the best heel out of either promotion (no one is even close to being as good as him at it IMO). Monty Brown always comes up with dumb jungle references to people and while his matches are good, he is no where near as good as Jarrett (this perception could be due to most of his matches being squashes). Killings is really good in the ring and did not really have much opportunity in his latest run to do promos.

This PPV is very poor.

Quick results:

Chavo over Rey after Rey gets on the top rope and Vickie tries to climb on the apron and it knocks Rey off. Chavo goes for the frogsplash and wins.

Show beat Sabu to retain the ECW title.

Hogan beat Orton.

Flair beat Foley.

wtf, Hogan beat Orton? I guess that kills the whole "Legend Killer" gimmick. First he loses to Undertaker, now Hogan.

And Show beating Sabu is pathetic.

Apparently Hogan dished up another uber-delay before the legdrop, making Orton look like an even bigger chump. Last year's pandering-to-the-fans before he (FINALLY) did it to Michaels bordered on ludicrous.

Booker/Batista, believe it or not, ended in a DQ when Booker's stupid wife interfered. What horrible booking. A DQ on a PPV?

HBK/HHH talking to someone in the back, makes me think there will be a 3rd DX member.

HHH/HBK out now, Vince/Shane coming out, Spirit Squad run out.. DX took them out. Vince and Shane are at the top of the ramp.

Vince/Shane walk down and stop.

WTF?

Ken Kennedy out. Regal out. Fit Finlay out. All are battling DX.

All three are thrown out. Vince and Shane walk down.. then stop.

Big Show comes out.

Trips thrown out and getting beat by the three outside. HBK getting beat by Big Show in the ring.

HBK laid out. Trips chokeslammed through table by Big Show.

Vince and Shane are walking down.

Keller is uncommonly funny tonight, both intentionally and unintentonally. Considering the fact that he usually sucks ass, I found some of this impressive.
A fan wearing a Hulkamania t-shirt was shown chanting "ECW, ECW" during the match. That shouldn't be allowed.
Maybe (Hogan vs. Orton) is on early just in case it goes to the 60 minute time limit.
Hogtan circled in the ring and pointed at the crowd and got cheers.
Still Keller said:
(re: Hogan vs. Orton) Not as good as the Undertaker-Khali match...

McMahons did Demolition's move, Hart Foundation's move, and LOD's move. Dunno the names of them besides the doomsday device, sorry.

and now umaga. great.

what the fuck, it's Kane. Please tell me he's not with DX.

Kane battled with Umaga to the back. I hope he's not with DX. Seriously, that'd be retarded.

DX won. Shane went for the "McMahoninator" and Shawn caught him with Sweet Chin Music in mid-air.
McMahons did Demolition's move, Hart Foundation's move, and LOD's move. Dunno the names of them besides the doomsday device, sorry.
The Demos name was the "Demoltion Decapitation," and the Foundation's was the "Hart Attack."

Kane battled with Umaga to the back. I hope he's not with DX. Seriously, that'd be retarded.

What? Come on! Didn't you ENJOY Kane saying "SUCK IT" when they did the same thing like 7 years ago? That was HILARIOUS!*

This goes into the "well, it's all we have left for either of them" Kane vs. Umaga feud. What's fucked up is both of them are really entertaining when pushed properly, but this feud will be a yawner. Kane will be pinned, which makes him look like more of a chump (as if he needs that), while at the same time it won't help Umaga at all.

So much for Kane being the #1 contender to the IC belt, I guess. What is it with this guy and hastily-aborted storylines?

*If your name is McMahon

Yes, because Kane is the father of Stephanie's baby! Lita wasnt the only one he was tappin ;-)

(sad to say Kane seems like a pretty good option compared to the angle where Vince was the father of his own grandchild)

Cena losing means squat - there are no other top-tier good guys to fight for the belt, so it's still gonna be Edge/Cena tomorrow and looking forward.

What do you think of the PPV overall? Good, bad, in-between?

Two solid thumbs down. Batista/Booker in a DQ, Sabu blew some spots, Foley/Flair was okay.. bad PPV.

To me it was in between. The "I Quit" match being the best thing on the show. It certainly won't be noted for being the greatest hardcore match ever but it was fun and the ending could actually help lead to another match between them (if WWE plays it out right). You pretty much knew right after Hogan's "injury" that Orton was going to job. DX vs McMahons was one long running back of tricks but it worked. Everything else to me was okayish. Not the greatest PPV but enjoyable enough to warrant watching at least once.

Edited in....

Given the fact that the....

RAW PPV poster has Edge and Cena on it its a dead giveaway right there.

Break it down!

Tickets go on sale for No Mercy this Saturday. Probably going to grab a pair and hope the card ends up being decent (not getting expensive seats so I won't feel too bad if it is shit, this is SD).

As stupid as it was to have Kane's "first words" be "SAHHHHHHHHH-KITTTT," the Kane - Waltman team had some pretty decent storytelling at times, especially during the Waltman/Kane vs. Undertaker and maybe Kane. It was both "emotionally investing" (Kane is about to join with 'Taker until he sees a replay of 'Taker beat the shit out of Waltman...so he chokeslams 'Taker, then helps Waltman to the back) and hilarious (Kane's moose-in-heat-sounding CRY OF AGONY when he finds Waltman knocked-out while his back was turned), which is pretty much all I can ask for.

That time period also spawned Kane's best looking outfit, which was a reverse of the outfit above (predominately black with some red).

Wait, this match never happened???

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Damn, I totally missed Jeff Hardy. Can't believe I forgot Raw was on... now that my girlfriend has college at night, our 9 month tradition of watching Raw every Monday is over since she dosen't get home until 10 pm. I could always tape it, but bah, not really worth it.

Wait, wtf, why is Raw on Sci Fi now?

Jeff Hardy is back!!! God I hope he beats Edge tonight. More than that I hope THE Jeff Hardy is back, not the later days in WWE one that was too drugged out to know where he was in his matches with Rico.

God, I wish I was a wwe writer...

In a horse-wwe, Orton would be in Umaga's place trying to help Vince rid the WWE of DX. Orton fits the role better, plus DX could've cost Orton the match vs Hogan, and Orton could've cost DX their match vs Vince. This Spirit Squad/Umaga/McMahon crap is a joke. I don't know if Vince is trying to build this angle up to something, where DX looks invincible and finally has something to fight them or what, but this is just lame.

I'd also revive the tag team division. Eugene and Duggan could go by the nickname, The Hairy Retards. The possibilities are endless.

Another thing I'd do with Orton, this whole "Legend Killer" crap, I mean really you can rattle off the "Legends" Orton has "Killed" on one, maybe two hands. Plus he got beat by Hogan & Taker... so to rebuild that gimmick, I'd have him "Kill" a local legend every week. So, be it Ricky Steamboat, Tito Santana, Terry Taylor, Roddy Piper, Greg Valentine, Ted Dibiase, Jimmy Snuka hell I'd even settle for the Mountie if it were a match in Northern Canada. You all get the idea though, really make him the Legend Killer, and have him defeat Bob Orton at some point in there too.

And Foley would not be joining the Kiss My Ass Club... I know it's gonna happen in 2 seconds here.
