Red Dead Redemption- Out Now
New trailer:

If it plays as good as it looks, R* should consider making a full on zombie game.
Still as "coming very soon." UGH!
Anyway, it looks very good. If it offers anywhere close to the 8-10 hours of gameplay that they said, I will be happy. I wonder if that's including challenges and side missions? Or will those even be available?

Can't go wrong with zombies, unlike most people that find them over used and over played, I find them a welcome addition to anything.

Kotaku said something like 5 hours of gameplay, but that could have been an underestimate not accounting for some of the side mission stuff.

Regardless, it looks amazing. I'm particularly interested in the horde-like zombie co-op multiplayer aspect. It should be a lot of fun.
I wonder what the achievements will be.
I hope there's something for execution count. I'm assuming the zombies can't use guns or ride horses, so that means ample opportunity to make your kills up close and personal.
October 26th the Undead Nightmare begins. wooooooo
Yipeeee!

Joystiq is saying 5-12. So it's probably 5 to beat the actual thing, and 12 for side missions/challenges.

They're going to compete with Rock Band 3?! WTF?! I'm going to be way too busy pounding on my fisher price drums to drill the undead in the skull with my single action army.

Sweet. This will probably be my first day one DLC purchase since CoD4 map packs. It seems like just a high want at first, but considering it will put me over 2400 points for the month it's a no brainer. Unless I get BL's Claptrap Revolution, but I think that would only happen if word got out that this sucked or was heaily bugged both of which I don't think will happen.

Red Dead Redemption Retail DLC Disc

Titled Undead Nightmare, the $30 retail disc includes -- you guessed it -- the "Undead Nightmare" expansion, as well as the "Outlaws to the End," "Legends and Killers" and "Liars and Cheats" add-ons (the DLC prices of which add up to exactly $30). Much like Rockstar's other DLC compilation, Episodes from Liberty City, the Undead Nightmare disc won't require Red Dead Redemption to play. However, it would probably appreciate the company when introduced to your cold, cliquey video game storage unit.

I really wish it was an install disc like the Fallout 3, Oblivion or Borderlands discs.
Is this the last and only single player DLC for this game?
that's the rumor, but they had a good run. I'm looking fwd to the next project from Rockstar* while still enjoying RDR.

The Four Horses of the apocalypse!

105.jpg

Pestilence, Famine, Death, and War.

Each legendary horse has a special trait.

Death
107.jpg

With Hell following close behind, Death carries with him a violent wake that rattles through the skulls of the undead, causing a spectacular cranial explosion for any zombie it comes in contact wit

Famine
109.jpg

Attracting a swarm of insects wherever it travels, Famine's thin shadowy frame and crimson eyes mask an everlasting stamina.

Pestilence
106.jpg

A ghastly harbinger of plague and disease that's easily identifiable by its exposed wounds and ocular hemorrhaging, Pestilence possesses an exceptionally high pain threshold.

War(Good god yall!)
108.jpg

Given power to take peace from the earth, the fiery red horse known as War ignites a trail of flame upon all those in its path, turning the living and the undead alike into smoldering ash.

according to gamestop, the undead nightmare adds 8 hours of gameplay. RDR is still 60 bucks, already beat the storyline and sold the game. So im going to wait and see how good this undead nightmare is, if i hear good reviews, i might buy the 30 dollar game.

I dont recall Rockstar* ever releasing crappy games, isn't the DLC going to be 800 ms points? Why buy the disc? (unless you didn't get any of the MP dlc)

I didnt buy any of the DLC. Even if i buy just the undead nightmare pack... id rather spend 30 than 70. Horde mode sounds cool but i always had issues staying connected to friends online during the RDR MP.

icy.

Hopefully you can use some gaming credit or GC to snag the disc then. I got side tracked with too many other games to even attempt to play a MP game of RDR. Killing zombies is exactly what I need as a break from the everyday.

Awesome that that announcer is in the MP mode. His VO work sounds great in the trailers.

Can't believe how awesome this is shaping up to be. I'm pretty much just as hyped for this as I am any other full game this year.

OMG this game looks awesome.
I'm so glad i traded Alan Wake for RDR.
Can't wait for this DLC.
I already got the free DLC outfits.

Anyone know how long the Undead solo campaign is supposed to be? If its Lost and damned/Gay Tony sized, I'll spend the 800 points for it.

-Oh nevermind, 8 hours mentioned on the previous page. That's not bad.

Now that I'm not buying Fable III, this DLC has my full undivided attention.

Anyone who wants to rip through Bigfoot's ass wild west style, let me know.

God damn. Sasquatch's animation is so awesomely creepy. I can't wait for this to hit the marketplace.

Shit like that running around, plus zombie cougars and bears along with the roaming hordes of undead = me scared shitless at least a handful of times.

squatch is in the game...wow i cant wait for tomorrow! theres a whole lot to do in undead nightmare. those horses look awesome to. there should be an achievement for killing and skinning squatch.
there should be an achievement for killing and skinning squatch.
That would be great.

Speaking of, there are new achievements for this, right? I've just been assuming that there will be, but I realized that I haven't actually seen or heard Rockstar say anything about new achievements.

It's up! I was only able to see it using the in-game marketplace from RDR's main menu.
Any info on the size of this thing? I really need to get a new harddrive...or one of those new 360s.
It's 1.53 GB.

There's also an "Undead Nightmare Collection" for 1600 points, which is Undead Nightmare plus all the previous add-ons. That one is 1.67 GB.

Oh man, Rockstar's presentation continues to be brilliant. The opening is so good

The lower ammo count is really stressing me out, lmao. Thank God for the torch. Frantically searching corpses for ammo as more zombies shamble towards you is truly unnerving.
