all I could find was madden 17 for 360 took it to gamestop along with another old ds game worth a couple of bucks and gamestop only gave me a little over $10 because of a refurb fee... seriously? wtf gamestop is shit

They tried to do a refurb fee at one store I took the games to. I decided to not trade them in that store (took all the CDs back) and traded it in with no problems at another store. YMMV.

I've traded to said store before but 3DS games and generic cases, and they were okay with it. This is one of the few times I traded without cases.

Traded in to Best Buy with stickers and case, the older CS specialist didnt even second guess. I talked to her about it and she said she didnt think they were stolen, and I told her how much I paid for them. She knew they werent the newest release too.

Took 3 Madden 17 360, 1 NBA 2K17 360, and 1 WWE 2K17 into the store all in redbox case. Got $72 credit with GCU. Had another NBA but they didnt take it bc of a huge scratch, got redbox to refund it then.

Did you decline the trade at least?

I picked wwe 2k17, Madden 17, and NBA 2k17 today; I traded them in with the case and sticker, no problem. The girl did hesitate at first, but called someone and they said it was cool. I got the 10% GCU bonus, and got $42 and some change for the three. It was a good flip, I purchased destiny 2 right then and there and the difference was only 93 cents. I made off like a bandit. I spent $17 out of pocket for destiny 2, not bad for a recent AAA release.

After buying DS3, I decided to check my local box for other stuff.

Agents of Mayhem is only $15.    I don't know if that's national or YMMV.

Just verified this myself, but if you see copies of these games at red boxes that don’t sell games(walmart), you can rent it, return it to a box that sells, wait a minute, and then buy it from that box. You take a bit of a bit to the total profit margin, but still pretty good...

Hmm a couple days ago I saw that it was $20 at a box I was buying games from. Thanks for the info.

Micro Machines is $5 too
I almost, -almost- decided to get this for my son... but then realized the last thing I need is to always have to put in a disc for him. He already has monster jam and a pile of other cart racers digitally. If I wasn't already pro-digital, he'd seal the deal. [i still get physical for good deals though].

Like, i was going to wait for the complete edition of ds3 to hit a reasonable used price, but $5 for vanilla? Sign me up.

Also- glad people found agent of mayhem for $15... seems like a steal for a Saint's Row game that forgot to advertise itself as such.

Had my first issue with RB error. Bought Madden 17 360, machine gave me CoD Ghosts DISC TWO. Used the chat support online and they refunded me. Pretty quick and easy

Gamestop will give me more money, but it seems like Best Buy will give me less hassle
Buddy I don't know what magical best buy you use but anytime I've ever traded in at best buy it's been at minimum a 20 minute ordeal, even after years of accepting them they still get deer in the headlights looks when I take them in. Gamestop takes a couple of minutes.

Not to mention GameStop has become the devil incarnate for piss poor customer service, shitty prices and bullshit “new” games. I’d take a few extra minutes at BB over stepping foot into a GS.

Annnnd just as I get the stickers off and everything ready to be dropped off at the local indie game store to be buffered for a buck a disc, I see the TIV of WWE 2K17, Madden 17, NBA 2K17, AND RBI have all dropped...

Hmm. Looks the same as it was for me earlier today. WWE 2K17 360 is 10 base, 8 base for PS4/X1, Madden 17 is $12 base, 2K17 is 12 base and RBI is 8 base. What are you seeing?

I think the last time I checked was Tuesday, and at that time NBA was $14.85 w/ Pro, and Madden was just a bit under that. RBI has dropped as well - it was $10 or 11 when I checked last weekend.

If it was part of the SB, then the drops would have occured on Tuesday. Those RB games TIVs were at today's values last Weds before that odd SB on Thursday which bumped the values to the higher weekend values ($11/12/14 base IIRC).

Wait, there was a Stealth Bump this past weekend? I wasn't expecting it until this coming weekend. Lovely.

At least your BB's actually take used games without a receipt showing it was bought from BB.

Between that and Amazon's absolutely ridiculous crackdown on selling used games, I only really have GS and Ebay left... which basically means GS because I hate using ebay to sell.

I used to sell everything on Amazon and it worked so nice...

If you're talking about having to get "permission" to sell pretty much anything on Amazon, I totally agree! It's absolutely ridiculous, as they're essentially requiring you to pay for the professional seller account as they have otherwise put up so many freaking restrictions for individual seller accounts. It's not like they weren't making plenty off the selling fees they charged individual sellers.

fuck amazon. Seriously. Them doing what I said above, taking longer to ship prime packages, and getting in bed with noram, (who processes their trade-ins), just goes to show how far they've gone downhill in the past few years.

When they become a monopoly... this is what happens... I don't buy from them much anymore

I still buy from them. I just don't really understand why they decided to stop letting me sell used stuff easily.

They were making -bank- off me for pretty much zero work. I took care of listing, shipping, etc and all they did was collect a hefty percentage of every sale. And obviously, I wasn't alone... they had to be making a fortune.

And now? It won't let me list the vast majority of games for sale.... and while I can still list a couple, it's not worth 'testing' every game I want to sell just to find out if it'll let me list it or not.

Normally, I can understand why a company does something, even if I don't like/agree with it. Here? I feel like Amazon cut off a fairly decent no effort revenue flow and I have zero clue why.

Agents of Mayhem XB1 shows up as 14.99 on its page, but 9.99 in in the cart. Might be worth checking to see if its the same for you guys.

$11 Pro TIV at gamestop, though I'm keeping my copy so long as it works.

EDIT: Okay now the price is showing as $9.99 on its own page too. Odd, guess I caught it before they updated.

New Price Cuts:

Mass Effect Andromeda $9.99

Mafia 3 $9.99

Doom $9.99

Final Fantasy XV $14.99

Rise of the Tomb Raider PS4 $19.99 XB1 $9.99

Knack 2 and Everybody's Golf are 14.99 each, $5 less than new copy on black friday - in case someone would rather save the $. I bought Agents of Mayhem at this price and it dropped $5 a week later so hoping both of these hit $10 too.
