At the Kiosk.Do you buy these at the Redbox kiosk or from their website?
I believe a Redbox rep is going to jump in here and show us a trick for this.No way to see inventory levels online?
Correct. They keep their costs down by receiving just the game disk from the publisher.Just a heads up, my understanding is that when you buy it you just get the disc in the redbox disc holder. You do not get the official case or manual.
Just saying, I haven't played that on my XB1 in months. A friend wanted me to play, and we spent an hour trying to get into a party together. It never let us. The thing's apparently still a disaster.Awweeeeee yeah, gonna get halo master chief collection
Did you check your network connections? If one of yous guys had a Strict nat type that would explain it.Just saying, I haven't played that on my XB1 in months. Indeed so, though that only affects hosting a group, I thought. We tried both ways (my hosting and his). I did the slutty act of putting my XB1 in my network's DMZ because I was too lazy to go through the port forwarding process, so my NAT's always open (minus when there's a hiccup that causes me to need to re-run the network check).Did you check your network connections? I was wondering about that. Thanks.Just a heads up, my understanding is that when you buy it you just get the disc in the redbox disc holder. You do not get the official case or manual.
This is a reason to never buy a game from redbox period. No reason to have to gamble on if you get a game you just paid for or not. They really should be sued over this issue to where they have to find another way to read if the game has been returned or not. If someone can put a piece of paper and the system reads it as returned that's a problem.Have that redox rep explain why it takes an argument to get them to issue a refund to your card when you purchase a disc but get a piece of paper inside or a disc with " you" scratched into it.
Sorry just salty from my last redox buying experience.
No kidding. I was already out doing my morning running around, so I hit about 10 Redboxes between White Oak and Greensburg, PA and didn't find shit. After this and the last sale, I am thoroughly convinced they pull all the cheap games from the local machines ahead of time. These sales are always so unreliable as are the stock checkers. Please don't go out of your way to go to a red box.
The only kiosks I'm aware that you can't buy games from are the one's at Walmart. If it shows the game in stock at a machine, you should be able to buy it. But you can only buy it at the machine, not online. So you can't buy at any kiosk that stocks these games? I'd be in for ESO at that price, but I'm confused. When I hit the link it shows me locations different from if I simply search to get the game.
I'm not sure that's true. My local redbox (Stop n Shop) rents games but doesn't appear to sell them according to redbox.comThe only kiosks I'm aware that you can't buy games from are the one's at Walmart. Well, locally the only location I've noticed is Walmart. Every other location around here sells them. I should have put a YMMV on that.I'm not sure that's true. My local redbox (Stop n Shop) rents games but doesn't appear to sell them according to redbox.com

Wouldn't putting it on hold for pickup (for rental I presume) remove the game from stock for purchase?I clicked on the link from the OP, and then just searched the game I wanted. Put it on Hold for Pickup, and then will go purchase it when I get off work. Only bad thing, is I wish that they had prices from the link, no price, so don't know how much they are going to cost when I pick them up.
Either that or you weren't the early bird.No kidding. I was already out doing my morning running around, so I hit about 10 Redboxes between White Oak and Greensburg, PA and didn't find shit. I've always had to Google "which red box kiosks sell games?" but this link will do.I'm not sure that's true. My local redbox (Stop n Shop) rents games but doesn't appear to sell them according to redbox.com

Hi - that's correct - just the disc in the case.Just a heads up, my understanding is that when you buy it you just get the disc in the redbox disc holder. You do not get the official case or manual.
We're still working on online inventory, but you can find out if a kiosk near you sells games through this link: http://www.redbox.com/preownedI believe a Redbox rep is going to jump in here and show us a trick for this.

We're sorry to hear about any issues people are having like this. Please send us an email to [email protected] and we'll get these straightened out for you!One issue you might come across with buying used games from red box is that you could get a bad game where someone had scanned a paper copy of the game and returned it that way. Had it happen to,me once and had to tell customer service which they seem know about this going around but got a refund easy but it was annoying.
Were people honestly expecting to get the game case?Just a heads up, my understanding is that when you buy it you just get the disc in the redbox disc holder. You do not get the official case or manual.
This should be correct. I have been able to do this. WITH ONE EXCEPTION, as a poster mentioned above, if you hold for pickup I think you need to pay for the rental before picking it up.....I think it might mess up the purchase of the item.Hey, this might be obvious, but just because nobody has mentioned it I figured I'd throw it out there. There's an easy way to find out which redbox kiosks have the game you'd like to buy available for purchase.
Locate your local kiosks that sell used games at http://www.redbox.com/preowned , then at http://www.redbox.com/games use the search bar (and the "hold for pickup" button) to locate local kiosks with the same game in-stock. Just cross-reference the two lists and you've got a list of locations that have your game for sale.
Hi - the OP has the correct list of games and prices. Hope that helps.Redbox_Games, could you give us a listing of the games in this sale and their prices?
Great idea for a workaround. We should have an online inventory feature in the next month or two. Stay tuned.Hey, this might be obvious, but just because nobody has mentioned it I figured I'd throw it out there.
