[quote name='kell']Yeah, they did. Neither had Dawn of Mana, or so they said. It just makes me wonder how well they sell if they stick them in the back like that. I imagine not very well. But are they ever going to sell if they aren't in view? I can't imagine many people asking for them.
The other way to look at it is they sell so well that they don't need to be on display, but I doubt that is the case. So I just wonder if GS will only carry guides for the big sellers like Mario and Halo in the future. Space for videogames is at a premium these days and if guides aren't making GS much money they may go the way of the Dreamcast...

Well, if the PS2, GC and XBox games weren't still making them $$$, they could start doing to them what they did to the Genesis/N64/PS1/DC games and put them on clearance. Of course, then people might get an actual discount on those games they sell @ inflated, Ebay-like prices(MvC2, Futurama, etc, etc), and as we all know, Gamestop HATES giving away stuff they probably paid the original owners $2-4 for for less than 600% or more over their cost to buy them.
Plus, once they finally dump the rest of the GB/GBC/GBA games, they can put those glass cases they use for them now to good use for the PSP/DS sections. Of course, then we'll have 30 threads on here a week about how 'I got sold a DS/PSP game without a box'. But yet if you take a second to think about WHERE you're buying it from, do you really ever expect to get the original box from GS?
