OK, besides being the source of guide pulling lately, I can now add my local Best Buy as the source of guide weirdness.
I found the following:
Gears Of War x4
They PC'd and rang up $19.99 @ the register AND on one of the pricing guns. As usual, one of the UPC barcodes didn't scan in the system when I took the guides up to the register, so they tried the other one. And up came the $19.99 price.
I didn't check the SKU on the sticker on the front versus the one listed on CAG, but there was no sticker over the back UPCs(as I thought I read someone else saying there was on a GOW guide).
So, strike 1 for me as far as guides ringing up more than they're suppposed to.
[quote name='180husher']Dude, you pricematched a penny guide...now that takes balls! I bow down to the master. You really are the cheapest gamer.

Thing is, I don't think I would've been able to get away with it if there was a manager on duty. Plus, I found a really young female clerk who was kind of shocked that I wanted to PM something for .01. She did ask a dept manager, who proceeded to begrudgingly let me do the PM, but said 'only one'. I kinda laughed and was about to go back and bring up the other 10-12 copies of the guide and say 'one per transaction, right?'. But, I didn't wanna press my luck.
I tried again the next week, but there was a real manager on duty who said 'we're not gonna pm anything for a penny'. I tried using their receipt from the PM the week prior. But hey, at least I can say I got a guide from CC for a penny.
