OK. I'm gonna assume that it was just a three guide drop at GS and update the appropriate posts in a bit. Thanks boneless and sasukekun for the info about the drop.

I know others have asked this before, but I'm asking it now. Why would one need a guide for a FPS? I mean, unless they did like a lot of games do nowadays(pad the game's hours with shitty 'collectibles' you gotta find), what's the use in having a guide for a shooter?
 
I only got my hands on the Resistance 3 guide ... and a couple Dragon Quest VI ones from a while back. Cashier was super surprised, and I didn't think I'd get the guides when he called over his supervisor, but she was cool and was just like "Yeah sometimes guides penny out. It's all good."

For SoCal CAGs, spotted some others that I didn't want/need:
1 more Dragon Quest VI guide at GS in Glendale Galleria; back half is quite bent and beat up thoguh.

5 Fable 3 guides on an end cap in the Glendale (Los Feliz) BB, and 2 Little Big Planet 2 guides near the games.
 
I'm gonna try and go in tomorrow morning/afternoon and snag myself Resistance 3 and X-Men. I'll look out for extras if anyone wants some. I'm not a hoarder. :)

I scored 2 of each. Sadly, we didnt have any Dissidia 012 Duodecim Final Fantasy on hand.

NP. I usually work Wednesday mornings so I can report any guide drops.
 
For the little big planet 2 at best buy is their 2 version to this like their is 2 version of the game? Like a reprint or something. Have past up at my local best buy for 3 days in a row and am feeling stupid. Hopefully still their tom.
 
ugh tried 4 gamestops while doing the gamecube sale run today. made out awesome on rare gamecube games but sadly nothing for guides. 2 were pulled and 2 got denied =(

What exactly did you clean up and update about it? All I see is a different, much darker color(that I can't read unless I scroll over and highlight) for BB's list of dropped guides.
 
Got a copy of Resistance 3 guide last night along with 30+ rare GameCube Games (MGS: Twin Snakes, 2x Cubivore, 3x Phantasy Star 1 & 2 Plus, Resident 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, CV, 2x MM X Collection, etc). Life is good.

Got about half my fable 3 CE guides in today, rest should come in tomorrow. No idea were to put these, they came 3 to a box and they take up so much space.

I had success getting two Dissidia 012 guides today--the cashier said they were supposed to be thrown out, but he was awesome about it and let me have them. I thanked him and he said "no problem, man". :D
 
Nothing today. Had they had them still, they wouldn't have hesitated in giving me them since I'm pretty good friends with them. Turns out the DM was in there yesterday and had them pulled. Bummer.

They'd make some bitching wallpaper. Or gift wrap, in the spirit of the holiday. You could also level any wobbly chairs or tables.

It would be cheaper to make the chairs out of the guides. At 1 cent a guide it costs more to buy the chair.

It let me do two in each order. Two for shipping in one order and two for pickup in the other. Just tried again and it let me add up to 3 in an order.
