Just disorganized and busy. I bought a place, had a gf, and was trying to get organized. The gf is gone now, I'm moved in, and I am still disorganized. It's also garage sale season, so I have mainly been going to those. Hopefully I will be able to offer something to the community once I get back to buying games...my GS and BB memberships lapsed months ago. I think GS owes me a $25 GC and BB owes me about $40 in credit, but I can't find my paperwork. Maybe I am getting old, I can't keep track of stuff like I used to. I'm here, lurking in the Gsale, thrift, and a few other threads. Once I get back to being a hermit/hoarder I'll post more often...

Ah okay. Glad to see you're still around. Sorry about the gf, I was in the middle of my friend's relationship drama and it sucked, but I found out his ex recently got fired for fraud. Happy hunting on garage sales.

not like it matters much as patches make the guides useless but world of warcraft cataclysm guide is pennied at gamestop.  i can confirm it was at least wednesday as i was in their paying off my zelda system and manager had it on counter with a penny sticker.   might be more but thats all that was on counter.

no dice, these new managers pull everything out when they open in the morning. my penny guide days are sadly over guys. i had a good run though. hope you guys get what you are looking for :(

Jack_Frost changed their name to iamthecheapestgamer yesterday. On topic I was able to get Halo 4 LE and Hitman Absolution LE at my local Gamestop. This penny guide hunting is great!

I had bought the Halo 4 LE guide with the $7 BB sale and man is the market flooded on that guide. Hitman could still be sold for around $15 or so opened like I have it, more sealed. (Got Hitman from the 50% off sale in January.)

Where is this coming from? I'll be pissed if I can't sell something I never opened as new on Amazon. I don't want to deal with EBay.

 
Just found an Aliens CM also. Probably about to get denied on a RE Raccoon City at Bb. The aliens was GS.

Edit: yep, rejected. Or (in the voice of that basketball guy in the tv ad) no no no, not today.

Had Gamestop scan a Gears of War Judgment guide for me, and the guy just said here take it.
That hasn't happen to me in a LONG time.

Would gladly swap it for a sealed hardcover Tomb Raider, if anyone still has an extra.
 
Found hitman at my gamestop, it wasn't the LE guide...funny thing is the regular ed is still full price!

Haven't gotten a penny guide in ages. Prob should take a look at my pile in the basement to see if any have become gems over the years...

 
Anyone interested in Army of Two, Star Trek, or Metal Gear Rising (Non-CE but still has cellophane on it)? Not looking for much :) Tried to help somebody out but he's too cheap and doesn't want to spend cash on shipping. SMH lol!

They must have dropped the past week.

AC3 LE is not for sale at BB. It pops up some really draconian sounding message now though instead of just "item is not available for sale"

No, in actuality I just look at the few that are on the website and see which stores have some in my area, or in an area I'm going to. Then, once in a while, I find a lot of them at a store. (since only 5-6 are on the website, I can't tell anything beyond those without going)

 
Oh, and keep an eye out on the racks now that new employees are being hired for the holiday season.  All 8 guides I got yesterday were on the rack marked as $.01

 
Got a few really old vanilla guides at Toys R Us that scanned .01.  Cashier had to call a manager but they said it was cool:

legendary Skyrim and expanded edition both pennied at Best Buy I went in to check them and the guys gave them to me for free this was in Charlottesville Virginia there is still one copy left of the expanded version if anyone wants to try and snag
