Coincidentally, I'd just watched that before Steamboy. It's not Miyazaki's best film, but it's not bad by any measure.

I saw Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and felt slighted. Depp carries the film through most of the 150 minutes. It was decent but I couldn't recommend it besides maybe a DVD rental.

Finally got around to watching V for Vendetta on dvd. Not quite as good as the last two times, in the theater, but still very good. Maybe if I had more than two speakers ...

Well last night I watched The Descent, Final Destination 3 (to feed my need for senseless gore, and to use the nifty interactive feature thingy), and V for Vendetta. Then this morning I watched V for Vendetta again, Pitch Black, and TCoR: Dark Fury.

Saw Talladega Nights a couple days ago... pretty good, but Will Ferrel's getting a little old since he seems to play the same character over and over and over.

Right before that though, I saw V for Vendetta and that was fantastic.

I freakin' loved the fight scene in the lunchroom. I almost pissed myself, and had to rewind it and watch it again 3 or 4 times.

Inside Man - Not that good, anticlimatic

Scary Movie 4 - I would rank this about the 3rd best...some people said it was funny, but it really wasn't. 1,3,4/2 is how I rank them.

Wilderness

Awesome movie. If you liked the Descent then I would highly reccomend this lesser known British horrow film.

Little Miss Sunshine - Pretty awesome. Go see it.

Beerfest - If you drink, you need to see this. It will make you realize how serious drinking games are...*cough*

Invincible - Um...Marky Mark. Need I say more?

Fullmetal Alchemist - Decent, a good closure piece to the anime continuity. And the first anime film I've been able to see in a theatre (nothing ever comes to this town; I nearly had an orgasm seeing it on Funi's list :) )

Invincible - It was REALLY good (people were actually applauding mid-movie) but the very end was very anti-climatic. still worth it to see.

I think it would've been better if it wasn't made by Disney. There would have been a fuckload more of swearing, which in turn would've made it better. Phillipelphians would not say this:

"You...come here. My boy is a freakin' Eagle...a FREAKIN' Eagle!"

Silent Hill

I didn't really like it too much. I liked the atmosphere and all, but that's it.

The Crow

Even though the acting is awful, it was still kind of fun to watch. The soundtrack's pretty damn good, too.

Saw - My 5th Time seeing it and I still enjoy watching it everytime.

Donnie Darko - This movie was great. The first really good Psychological Movie I've seen in a while.
