waitaminute....

There was a tag team called the "dancing asses," as in the ring announcer and commentators called them this?????

"....and he tags that ass!"

myke.
...that's absurd.

Hey, I haven't read the topic yet, but I just wanted to halfway introduce myself and post so that I remember to check back.

I've been watching wrestling since 1991 and I've even trained to wrestle for a while with NMW in Springfield, Illinois. I live in Southern California now, however. My favorite wrestler of all-time is Bret Hart. I'd say I've probably been to 8 WCW and WWF/E show in my life, 3 of which were TV tapings, along with 20 or so indy shows.

I figure I might as well ask... Is anyone lucky enough to be going to WrestleMania 21? If I can find an affordable ticket, I'd love to attend since I'm only 50-60 miles from Los Angeles.

Yes, Vince owns the rights to "The Rock" moniker.
Myke's right, Johnson does own the rights to "The Rock." I heard it in an interview of his.
Yeah, that's also why Stone Cold left last year. He wanted the rights to the "Stone Cold Steve Austin" name, but Vince refused and Austin left. Seems that they're back on good terms for right now.

I tried IMing you on AIM, you must be at work. It's Christy Hemme, the Divasearch winner. :D

Although it is a change than seeing Torrie Wilson pose again, I thought it would be one of the divas that was there for a little longer.

Agreed, I don't like the look they're going for in that pic... just seems too... generic. Pearls and bubble bath isn't really her. She needs a kind of off the wall spread to fit her vibrant personality.

Has anyone seen the Wrestlemania commercial with Stacy Keibler? I didn't know there was another one until I looked on wwe.com. Apparently this one is based around Basic Instinct.

How was the wrestling on SD! and Impact! I didn't pay much attention thanks to Kingdom Hearts: CoM.

If there are any good matches, I'll go back and watch them.
Vince has always had a knack for making those commercials, especially the ones for WM
That RR comercial still slays me.
I shall slay thee!!!!

How come Vince never had a mideval knight gimmick?
 Vincent, Knight of The Underworld!

Just imagine if someone like Snitsky road out to the ring on a horse, whilst wearing shining armor, it'd be priceless.

I just wish Christian would give Tyson Tomko the Unprettier on a cinder block or something. If he does that I'll become Christian's number one fan.

I also preferred his "At last you're on your own" theme. That was leagues better than any other one he had.
The commercial is further evidence that Christian is the future of wrestling.

myke.
And he still came off as a CLB in the commercial.

LOL, this is true.

I'd really like to see the iron man match.

Not so much Dustin Rhodes. I'm torn...

myke.
...I think I'm gonna start brewing my own beer, so perhaps I'll put the money towards that instead.

I'll order any PPV where Christian has a shot at the title. ANY.

That was one incredibly overbooked ending, but it was more entertaining in practice than it sounded from the results I read. It was cool to see so many "connected" people- 3 former DX members, as well as another that was not in DX but has a connection to HHH and was in the Kliq (Nash), and former partners in BG James and Jarrett.

Guyver, do you by any chance have the whole show for download? I don't have PPV capablities anymore and I'm no good with torrent sites, so I've been looking for places to download WWE and TNA PPVs so I can determine whether or not the DVDs are worth buying.

How about Billy Gunn and Road Dogg vs Hall & Nash in a loser dies match... despite the fact that the Outsiders are old men they could still show that the Outlaws were an absolute joke of a replacement.
you saw it here first!!!

Awesome ending!
Ugh. TNA: The home for has-been wrestlers. Why oh why did Nash cut his hair? And man, that jackknife sucked hard. Everybody in that ring is sadly showing their age.
