Nash with short hair is the only way to go, although he needs to dye it back to the jet-black.

Oh and after watching the ending so much for the Outsiders vs Outlaws match. Where's Scott Hall anyway? And why oh why can't Jeff Hardy hit the rehab clinic and get back to the WWE where he belongs...
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DX

what an ending!!!

tell me your watchin myke
I wish I were; I heard the Iron Man match was something else.

I made the decision this week to buy WarioWare: Touched! instead. I hope I'm making the correct decision. I need something to put in my DS since Kingdom Hearts is really fucking making me angry.

myke.

Kingdom Hearts isn't a DS game... assuming you're talking about the GBA version. So, Raw tonight... what's the agenda? More SD! guys taunting Batista I'm sure... probably Kane vs Snitsky and Benoit vs Jericho again too... not that we haven't seen that in some form or another already

It's a GBA game...I'm just waiting on some fun DS games at the moment (I'm considering getting Feel the Magic soon, also).

All I know is that I live less than 1 mile from the arena tonight, so it better be a shitty shitty show, since I'm not planning on going. The last WWE show I went to had a 25-minutes taped interview segment with Stephanie McMahon to setup a match with Vince (?) at No Mercy 2003; I vaguely recall screaming "boring" throughout the whole thing, and trying to walk backstage to tell the Undertake he sucked. My younger brother was just thrilled to see me as intoxicated as I was. I vowed to never go to a WWE show again.

So, of course, the next show in Cincinnati was the Raw where Shelton Benjamin was made, pinning HHH in a very good match in the main event. I did not go, of course.

My not going tonight has more to do with it being V-Day; my wife would murder me if I went to wrestling instead of spending time with her. I don't mind, since I get to go see ROH next Friday.

Long story short (too late), it better be a bad show, or I'll cry.

myke.
Ugh. TNA: The home for has-been wrestlers. Why oh why did Nash cut his hair? And man, that jackknife sucked hard. Everybody in that ring is sadly showing their age.
He cut it for his role in The Punisher. But nice to see at least sometimes he's dyeing his hair back, cause the gray is really showing.

Yea where was Scott Hall?

I can't ever watch TNA because I always forget it is on when I get home on Fridays ( that time slot is really crummy, if it was a tuesday or wednesday night around 7, I would watch it all the time) so I do not know if he quit.

and Jeff Hardy does not need to leave TNA. If he goes to WWE he will get stuck in mid card hell with only 5 moves available to him.

I don't know if the business helps Hall fall off the wagon, or if he is just perpetually in between sobriety and being a fuck-up, but he needs some help.

myke.

I actually may miss tonight's show as well. A friend of mine was out of town the past week with his girlfriend in Florida, so we decided to fill his room up with balloons. Not like 50-100 balloons, but literally over 1000 balloons are in that guy's room filling it from top to bottom. It's quite the sight to behold, and I want to see what he does when he comes back tonight.

Thanks for your permission, not like it's my topic or anything :p

of course you are the most avid reader, but don't think you're getting a say in dedicating the next topic ;)

don't make me bust out with the Hitman as added support for his cause as the next figure head for the wrestling topic

He's watching...

It's odd, I have tickets for the 28th's RAW but I haven't been watching much latly, even now, just two weeks out from the show and....meh....I just want to go because I remembered how fun it once was...and now.....I dunno....not so much.

Smackdown is mega-lame, but it was still fun when I went. Just yell "JBL!" at the top of your lungs. The looks you get from people will be worth whatever you paid for the ticket. And yes, I know you are going to Raw.

Funny you mention that, when my friend and I would go back in the day we'd act like total marks, we'd pretend like we didn't know what was happening or who anyone was, Kane would be "that guy in red" or we'd just talk out our ass about some back story that never existed with Rhyno when he first came into the WWE, people around you love listening in to your conersation and we took full advantage of it.

I have to say, as much as I thought Smackdown was going to suck going to it, it was insanely awesome. My friends and I went the week that Kurt got fired as GM of Smackdown. It was great because afterwards Vince told Kurt he had to apologize to everyone he fired. Throughout the entire thing, Kurt continunously made gay jokes at his own expense. At one point, he had to look away (it was actually in our direction), and he was laughing his ass off. One of the greatest points was when Vince told him he had to kiss all the divas' asses, and he was like "I don't even LIKE girls...Can't I kiss your ass Mr. McMahon!?"

Nice.

Speaking of nice, good to see Jericho is jobbing to Hassan now

Is it HHH? Is it Lemmy? The world may never know...

Seriously, can HHH do anything fucking original in his life? He patterns his entire wrestling career after Ric Flair, he patterns his hair after Farrah Fawcett, now he patterns his facial hair after the great one!?!? Is nothing sacred?

Piper will be a great addition to the HoF; keep him far away from a mic, though. Egads, but it's good to see he's been forgiven for the HBO thing years ago. Too bad it's years too late for Sean O'Haire.

myke.
AH! Roddy Piper/Bob Orton reunion!
For real. I better not watch this at a friend's house, b/c I will break the fucking TV if Orton's not wearing an arm cast.

myke.
I hope Batista wipes the floor with Edge.
Batista could wipe his ass with Edge and it would suit me just fine. Edge has sucked for a long time now (although the recent psycho Edge is at least entertaining).

Ya know, not that I dislike Shelton Benjamin, but why not have him job to Hassan and let Jericho win every week?

I was a huge O'haire fan by the by, shame about the way things ended for him. Meanwhile Jindrak is still around and no one knows why.

Nice to see they are letting Shelton actually fight someone that has actually been portayed as somewhat hard to defeat. Nice change from just wrestling Maven-esque people.
Slick was classic, the best part was all the guys he managed still lost for the most part. Who managed the Giant Gonzalez/Al Gigante?
Jim Cornette?

'member when Jericho came out during his Malenko WCW feud and read his thousand and 4 moves and every tenth one was an arm bar.

Funny is all. Just sayin'.

Jericho used to be a LOT funnier than he is now. He's still great, but he used to be just hilarious.

Man I dig Orton's theme.
Yeah, who sings it?
Mercy Drive - Burn In My Light

At least that is what it says on the mp3 I have. :)
Christian is so awesome. He, Edge, and Paul London are my three faves in WWE right now. Who's everyone elses 3?
Smackdown

JBL
Booker T
Rey Mysterio

Raw

Shelton Benjamin
Batista
Randy Orton
Man, you can smell the swerve a mile away with this Batista/HHH storyline.
I think that's the idea; anticipation is always greater than the payoff.
What the shaq-fu happen to christian's head!?!?!
Errant punch from Orton I guess. Damn if that isn't a big lump, though.
