I am going to pass i think on this week, and stick with my 170 songs, i tend to buy to many crap songs and regret it after playing once or twice.
More butt-rock, yay!
Hardly. Butt rock would be more 80's style.

Listened to Scars, they are just political run-of-the-mill rock.

Testemant will be good though.
"The New No 2" is such a great band name, Ive never heard them but I love the name.

UP THE IRONS
Apparently it's George Harrison's kid.

WTF is butt-rock?

A term used by people who have no idea what good music is.

AW SNAP! IT'S ON! I'M BRINGING IT!

Meaning Dallow.

Why do people say that? What makes music good or bad? You either like something or you dont. I hate country but that doesnt mean its bad music....

Well, for starters, if the band is named "Testament," it's probably going to be good.

I'd prefer "Chemicals" by Scars on Broadway, but I guess the lyrics are too vulgar. The chorus:

Madness, feeling scared
Looking around and nobody there
When I say, "fuck the world" let's get ready to rock
As I piss on your face while you suck on my cock

being a system of a down fan I like the sound of Scars on broadway. Gonna have to get that, not sure about the new No. 2's no youtube video, I'll just wait and see.

Being a System of a Down fan, I find Scars on Broadway to be absolute shit because Daron, no matter how much he tries, simply cannot sing. Ruined their last two albums.

However, if the song is fun to play, I'll probably pick it up. Hell, I bought the Fallout Boy song.

Just read this article where Led Zeppelin says they are not comfortable with letting video game companies use their master tapes...

So, basically, we will never see Zep music on Rock Band.
What? he sounds almost exactly like Serj, just more nasal.
No, Serj sounds good.

I honestly dont see where youre getting he sounds like serj, they arent even close.

I disagree, but hhhdx, you should post in the wrestling thread in Off-Topic.

A friend linked me to a ustream of a guy playing all songs (including DLC) on Expert drums, without stopping. It's over now, but that shit is bananas.
I know it's a highly subjective question, but which NIN pack is better? I'm considering getting one of them.
For Rock Band, I'd say get the second pack that has Last, Capital G, and Burn.

I'd say first one.

That is until we get Wish and Happiness in Slavery.

yeah..the first one's more fun to play. the collector is great.

Thanks, first one it is. I may end up getting both anyway - I was saving a bunch of MS points under the impression that Nevermind was coming out soon, but with Drain You in RB2, that's probably not going to happen for a while.

I'm inclined to agree on the NIN packs. Overall there's not much going on with the guitar parts in the second pack. On Capital G you don't even play anything until the chorus!

yeah, out of all the songs in the pack, i liked Capital G the best, didnt care for the other two.

I'd say the first one as well.

Add Sin to Wish & Happiness in Slavery and that would be an awesome pack.

Got the 100% expert vocals achievement on Electric Crown....the only thing keeping me from being flawless was the goddamn cowbell part, I recently recalibrated my TV and missed a couple of them, so I guess I need to change it back how it used to be. Didn't have time to do more than once this morning since I had to get to work. Song is pretty fun on guitar with some tricky moments in the solos.

As far as the NIN packs, I'd say go for the second if you're only buying one of them.

I have no idea why out of all the possible Testament songs they would pick Electric Crown.
I can't think of one reason....anyone have any idea?

It's one of the more accessible songs in their catalog and the lead guitar is fairly active. There are plenty of other songs they have that I would have rather had offered, but it's not a terrible choice.

I have a question that Im hoping someone can help me out with. I live in LA and I have friends who live in NY. Is there a way we can play the World Tour together using Xbox Live? We figured out how to do quickplay together using our characters, but we were hoping to do the World Tour as well. Any idea how we can do that. Thanks for any information in advance!!
I still await more grunge. Or hey, Queen would be great.
Mother Love Bone, Screaming Trees and Temple of the Dog, please!!! (It will never happen).

Eh. This isn't offensive like some weeks, although nothing really thrills me...will probably get Toxicity since I was briefly enamored with them a few years back.

I am glad to see they are sticking with putting out double the amount of songs they used to, though. Hopefully by year's end we'll be getting around 8 songs a week.
