"All I Want" should be sold at a discount. It's less than 2 minutes long.

I truly hate "Pretty Fly", but it seems like it would be fun to play in a game like this. I just wish I could turn the vocals off...
 
It should be called the "Crazy Taxi" track pack. ;)

Regardless, it looks like the first full pack I will be picking up, as I really like all of those songs.
 
Couldn't believe it when I woke up and read about the Offspring pack, on account of that crap that happened around a week before April Fools with that "gag" pack reported by that piece of crap Rock Bandage site.

I will stay up till 3 AM or whenever on the day it's released. This is the best pack I've seen (ok, Boston is up there too) and it's my dream setlist that I've been waiting for since Guitar Hero 1. I'm so bloody happy

Actually I think Pretty Fly will probably be the most fun to sing out of the bunch.

I'll get the bolded ones...I'm not a fan but I don't despise them and a guy in my "band" digs them. I do sort of like "All I Want" since I was obsessed with Crazy Taxi years ago.

Pretty sure "All I Want" is the only one from Crazy Taxi, although if they wanted to throw in a few others I wouldn't complain.

me too. i didn't think anybody else loved that song! offspring pack is great, i wouldn't really change any of the songs but i would like to add a couple. I hope this gets here soon, but i bet it'll be a while since they just put out an offspring song.

omg I went to four different stores asking about cleaning the disc today and then came home and read this, took the advice and now it works. WTF WWWHHYYYYY

EDIT: and then my internet started working again and it downloaded an update for rock band which made the game freeze at the exact same spot again.
 
For the past two days I've been worried about my rock band game because it's been freezing at the exact same spot in the menu every time. I thought it was the disc but I cleared the hard drive cache and it seems to have fixed the game, but when the game asks me to download the update for the game the problem starts up again and won't stop no matter what, so I end up clearing the cache again, and the only way I can play the game is by refusing to update the game, which means it forces me to sign out of xbox live unless I update and then the freezing starts again, so the rock band gods are doing everything in their power to prevent me from downloading the new songs this week. Wtf do I do?!
 
That offspring pack is officially the first full pack I'll be buying that isn't just 3 songs. Now I wish I had bought more points from Target. :(

I agree with Pretty Fly, but the rest of those tracks will be a complete riot to play. These mid- to late-'90s songs are essentially licenses to print money for EA/Harmonix. People around my age (mid twenties) will buy them for nostalgia alone.

Seconded. Too many bad, awkward middle school memories to ever make me want to associate with that band ever. So yes, if this is a civil war I'll side with you in saying they suck.
 
Well I'm happy for people that like it....I just don't understand why ;)

I wouldn't say anything if it was a 3 pack but 7 songs from this band is weak.

I don't know, I wouldn't expect the Offspring thing right away. That was posted on the band's website, not the RB site. History has shown so far that usually when a band announces it, it's still a ways off.

Pixies is next week, but I would say Offspring is probably within 2 months.

I wanted more offspring but now I'm not sure I want some of those songs. Pretty fly for a white guy is instant buy. It's going to be so funny watching people try to play and sing that song.

I'm starting to not want songs I like in the game and only want songs with good charts in the game regardless of the quality of song. Aka I am considering buying the A7X songs. Drum & Guitar charts look bad ass.

I always figured CAG skewed younger, but damn. Middle-schoolers? :lol: Smash came out my senior year of high school('94). I guess Pretty fly is what drew in the younger crowd though.

I'm sort of psyched to be able to play Raven's old ECW entrance music. I'll be passing on the other Offspring songs. That being said, I do like most of the Smash album. Their later stuff was not to my taste.
 
If Pretty Fly wasn't on the list, i'd be pretty happy actually...i'll probably buy the pack and save some MS points, but i likely won't be playing that song. I really wish they'd just released these songs for 80 MS points instead of 160...

..or at least that's the impression i am getting.

i hope this is for real real though, cause im pretty excited about a drumset that sucks less.

it makes sense in that a real drum set has a pedal for the hi-hat and they are trying to make it more realistic. im sure there are parts in some of the songs where it makes more sense to use your foot than it does to actually hit the yellow pad.

It does if you know what a real pedal is used for when it's attached to a hi-hat.:)
