Those that mentioned Freezepop have the right idea. While it's true that we were told they didn't have time to finish them, why would anyone assume they were big songs? If they were that important, wouldn't they have gotten them done?
Point is... most of use bought RB2 when it came out. We played it endlessly, and surely SOME must have picked up on the complete lack of the normal 'bonus' songs on the disc. If you ever thought these were going to be anything but this, sorry. I always had naive hope, but never really believed they'd give us something for free that they could charge for.
... now, Harmonix is extremely guilty of fostering that 'omg, they're big songs!' thing with the secrecy surrounding this. Had we been told what they were weeks ago, I guarantee we wouldn't see the amount of bitching we are now. Essentially, they hyped these by NOT hyping these, so we speculated and began to assume they were awesome. I also find it shady that they announced the list AFTER the other versions came out, since there's a small number of people that bought it first day because they heard about the extra songs, or at least didn't want to wait and just get it used.
Overall... the amount of bitching about this is both Harmonix's and our fault. If this was the list, they should've just announced it sooner and we should've realized that these would likely be nothing more than the 'bonus setlist' that was missing from the disc. I mean, all their other games had one... why wouldn't this?
