Got to the last boss in of Lost Odyssey this morning. When I get off work later tonight I'll finally finish it so I'll be all set for Vesperia tomorrow. Lost Odyssey has been a decent experience, had more fun with this than Blue Dragon. My mini review:
Pros:
Voice acting was great, the main character is probably the coolest one in recent history, nice detailed graphics, non-anime theme in a JRPG is welcomed which helped give it a more serious feel, lots of nice puzzle elements, and while not one of Nobuo's greatest soundtracks the music was top notch.
Cons:
Combat & loading is very slow, some character designs were "meh", the main villain isn't very interesting (crazy magician who wants to be a god), learning skills by equipping items is so FF9, and personally I wanted more tank characters and I disliked the two children in the party (Cooke & Mack)
Overall I'd give it a 8/10
