You're all wrong. The correct answer is...a butter knife. My CD's got a few scratches on it now, but it should be fine as long as I can rip it to my PC.

Aww hell.

This is not a good turn of events for Scrubs. Anytime a sitcom starts getting serious it messes up the whole feel of the show.

The whole reason Scrubs was different than other hospital shoes was because it didn't get too serious.

Dr. Wilson is even more messed up than House.

I absolutely hate that. If I wanted drama, I'd go watch a drama. Comedy's are supposed to make me laugh.

And that's why many sitcoms who dip too far into seriousness end up going stale.

You think you'd be used to not laughing by now.

What'd you think of the dub on the whole -- I'm debating whether I want to watch it in Japanese with English subs or to go with the English voice acting. I'd appreciate the input before I decide to watch it. :)
Hey jmcc what are the comic strips in your sig? I would like to see more of them.
Merely click on the sig and you'll be transported to them. But do start from the beginning (by clicking archives and starting at the first one.) They're in the middle of a story arc right now.

I enjoyed it, though I'm not really a picky guy when it comes to dubs, so take it as you will. Watch both. I've already seen it twice today. :)

I have this disease where if I watch something that has been dubbed and the dub sucks, I can't watch the movie again -- and I don't want that to happen here. (Not just limited to movies either...)

Examples:

1. Friend of mine decided to watch Steamboy. Couldn't stand the casting of anna paquin as the story's main character (accent was off, didn't sound like a teenage boy, etc.). Now he can't bear to watch the film again.

2. The localization of FFV for the PSX FF:Anthology collection was horrendous. It was so bad, I played on for a little bit to see if it was a joke and things would get better. Not so... That's about the only FF game I couldn't play through.

Then just watch the japanese dub if you're so scared to watch the English dub. Problem solved.

Then don't watch it. Send me the disc and I shall make it disappear from your life. Most simple thing ever.

Hahaha, but you already have it. :p

I do appreciate the suggestions though. :)

Don't feel bad, it's probably the worst final fantasy ever made.

Mystic Quest?

I've actually heard it the other way, where many think it's the strongest. Typically people think either V, VI, VII, or (for some insane reason) X is the best. Note that the most annoying of these fanboys are the ones who say VII is the best.

[EDIT]: Speaking of which, here's an article blasting FFVII: http://www.toastyfrog.com/toastywiki/index.php/Site/FinalFantasyVII

I think FFVII is one of the best RPGs ever, certainly not my first, although my first Final Fantasy game.

Same here! Don't see the point of bashing it, if you don't like it, well who gives a shit.
That sounds about right. Of course, I only managed to play about 5 minutes of the game.
Yes, even including mystic quest.

Actually most everyone I've met like 4 or 6. 5 really isn't much of anything, the class system was okay but the story, characters and enemies were more generic than usual.

I will admit that FF5 did have some really nice weapons, too they haven't brought the sacred weapons back.

Oh and your article was pretty good until he started in on his chrono trigger praise. Why is it that everyone who hates FF7 must love either Chrono trigger or Earthbound and in all likelyhood both?

..is this the first season you've watched or something? Scrubs usually has 4 to 6 "serious" episodes per season..

Scrubs isn't a through-and-through comedy, it's more like a dramedy.

I was just annoyed that he grouped people into two groups. Why did he have to group me and people just like the game with people who jerk off to the idea of a PS3 remake (something I do want to see, but don't care too much about).

5 was boring. The only people that really say its the best are the ones that call people that like 6 or 7 fanboys.

Never played FF7... Played Chrono Trigger; thought it sucked bawws.

Played the EarthBound, Loved the EarthBound.

Woot for Juniors and their ACTs. School doesn't start until 12:45... Time for some non-stop FarCry and Battlefield. :D

I took the ACT on Saturday, Dec 11th, 1999. Just 2 days after I turned 17 ... that sucked.

EDIT: My scores were ...

English: 30
Math: 28
Reading: 34
Science Reasoning: 36
Composite: 32

When I took the ACT, I had the flu. And when I got to the math portion of the test, I noticed that my calculator was lighter than usual... Forgot the batteries. That's when I walked out.

Between the PSATs, the SATs, the ACTs, and the GREs, I never want to take another standardized test in my life.

Man...Why is giving this man his horse head the most difficult mission right now in this game? You'd think it'd be easy, but I think I've failed it about 5 times so far...

Yeah... I was an English major and now I work in the transportation industry. I feel like my 5.5 years of college and grad school was the biggest waste of money EVER.

I'm not taking Graphic Design seriously in college. Thankfully, I opened my eyes and said to myself, "This program fucking sucks."

I'm going to switch my program to "The Arts" and get a certificate in Video Production, which they've just implemented. I think, in way of the Video Production, all I have to take is four classes, as I've taken a bulk of the recquired video stuff for enrichment (trying to avoid the graphic design classes) and art classes.

I'm thinking about going to film school, too...

I'm wondering why these paragraphs start with "I'm"...

I'm tired...

I've taken a little break from college. It's been a year so far, and I don't anticipate returning any time soon. Not without a damn good reason at least.
