I've got that set - it begins with a match where Buff misses the Blockbuster by a mile, and features some amazingly stupid names for wrestling - like "Kwik-Kik" for Low-Ki and "Kid Krash" for Kid Kash.
Impact thoughts -
The Kong segment ruled and finally made the knockouts title seem like a big deal again - I can't wait to see Kong either get her revenge on Angelina or see who Angelina called in as a reinforcement. I do love that the guy she called was apparently more concerned with Spike TV's no man-on-woman violence policy than he was about her safety.
Stevie and Abyss talking about the Office was amusing, and I'm looking forward to seeing Daffney in the knockouts monster's ball. Beer Money vs. Holiday/Young was decent, and gave me the impression that we'll see more of Holiday in TNA alongside Cade, which I'm looking forward to. In a way, Cade not making this taping due to Japan was a good thing, as their team would have likely been just an afterthought in this thing and could hurt their ability to get over in the future in TNA. Now, he can come in with Holiday as his partner and possibly get right in the tag title mix.
The 10-man tag was fine, but nothing memorable, and it didn't have much of a flow to it. I did like the post-match Sting announcement, but it slightly annoys me that they'll be using a "STING'S CAREER COULD BE OVER!" angle on what is usually a B-rate PPV. However, that, the Foley reign, and the increased importance placed on the X and Tag title feuds heading into it make this year's incarnation seem more important than past ones, which helps a bit. At least they aren't just building up that one angle for it, as it would be a waste to do that when it could possibly help them with a more important buyrate later on.

Tenay - Grabilicious…

Abyss - Is the guy a genius or a complete idiot? Dr. Stevie, what do you think of Michael Scott?
Stevie - Let’s not talk about the Office for a second, Chris.

XWF was god awful. The only cool thing about it is that they used the same building that TNA uses for Impact at Universal. Wait...... that's cool now? God I need help.
What in tarnation did Ziggler do?
I spent the evening drinking beers and watching The Wire instead of Smackdown.
Ziggler hit Khali around 8 times or so with a chair.
For those interested, You could see me during Khali and Ziggler's entrances a lot. White hoody, red shirt, red hat, Lemon sign. Bottom right hand corner.
From what I understand, and this is only from living in San Diego... he's either from or lives in Chula Vista, not San Diego.
Yeah, but that only makes a difference to the locals. That's why there's little uproar over the Chargers potentially moving to CV, or Oceanside.
Also: RAW's nearly half-over, and not a single comment... must be a rough night.
Not a bad Raw overall. It was funny seeing the oh so clever guy with the Epic Fail sign hold it up for no reason several times, then proceed to do nothing but take pics the whole night. I'm sure he's racing home to talk about what a shitty show it was in his e-mail to LoP
Are they turning Jerry Lawler into a heel announcer again? It was a bit unusual hearing him go on and on about how the only reason MVP & Kofi won was because Matt left Regal alone.
It just looks better when it's slower.
If that's from tonight's show, I'm glad I decided to watch a couple episodes of Neon Genesis Evangelion instead. It seems like now would be good time to just stop watching WWE altogether.
I'm too disinterested to make a conscious effort to not watch WWE - so I leave it on the telly and get work done that I need to.
Miz is still much, much better than I ever would have expected of him (as a persona, at least). And my interest is piqued in whom THEE Brian Kendrick would choose as a partner (who else is tiny and not Jamie Knoble in WWE?).
In other news, sounds like TNA plans on making Samoa Joe's "Nation of Violence" a full blown stable. There are some rumors online as to who the other members are (none current TNA talent, I think, with one slight exception). But whether they are legit or not, or disappointing/exciting are up to y'all.

...Shannon Moore? Unless he got released, and I didn't pay attention, since it's Shannon Moore.
Batista hunting Cody, who was roaming around like Elmer Fudd, and then doing God knows what to him in the closet was hilarious. As was Santina coming out of the closet and of course, the victory celebration. I loved Maryse's new catchphrase, Beth's cleavage, Kelly holding the ropes open so Jillian could just dive through to the floor, Miz's psycho face, the guy holding up $10 World and WWE Title belts in the crowd, and Cole and Lawler pimping the Show-Cena match while a fan held up a big "7,000 WATT SEARCH LIGHT" sign.

Lawler - On Sunday, John Cena will FINALLY FACE THE MAN WHO THREW HIM THROUGH A 7,000 WATT SEARCHLIGHT! (Fan holds up a giant “7,000 WATT SEARCHLIGHT” sign)
(after a big kiss with Rosa)Santina - I am, how you say… A LESBIAN, so I prefer the companies of the womens! Thank you, baby! (he slaps Rosa on the ass)
Cole - Okay, okay, let’s get back to business here (Cody hunts for Batista in the back with a giant pipe, who then beats him up)
Lawler - Santina came out of the closet earlier. Michael, I think you could convert her.
Cole - TO WHAT!?
Lawler - To like men again. Apparently, J.R. did.
Is ECW starting later than 9 tonight?
It moved to 10 Eastern a couple weeks ago. I get it at 7 Pacific on DirecTV. Not sure how it is if you have local cable up there in Sacramento.
That being said, this was a pretty good episode of ECW. I marked hard when DH Smith ran in. I want to like him, though I haven't seen enough of him yet. I'm a fan of Tyson and Natalya already. And the Hart Foundation was one of my favorite tag teams and my #1 favorite stable of all time, so I'm supporting this new group. The Hart Attack finisher was the icing on the cake.
I don't have satellite, so I guess I'll see it at 10.
That sucks. I'm annoyed by seeing Smackdown start 3 hours later than everyone else (when I'm home on Fridays, anyway... DVR'd, it doesn't matter) but I'm glad I can get Raw, TNA, ECW, and Superstars live.
Meh, I don't really mind it. I actually used to get annoyed with seeing shows 3 hours earlier back when I had satellite for a brief period, since I was always used to cable.
CM Punk & John Morrison over The World's Greatest Tag Team. (...and we're supposed to pretend that Punk's entire ECW stint never actually happened and the he and Morrison are buddies now).
Jeff Hardy over Ricky Ortiz (...and they're booking the show with a dartboard now.)
Alicia Fox & Michelle McCool over Melina and Gail Kim (...and Alicia Fox is officially a heel by association.)
Dolph Ziggler over Jimmy Wang Yang (...and Khali comes out to introduce himself to Mr. Ziggler.)
R-Truth over Mike Knox (...and I don't care enough to comment.)
Edge over Chris Jericho (...and we get a SLOBBERKNOCKER to finish things off when Jeff Hardy, CM Punk, Umaga, Rey Mysterio, 2/3 of the Oddities, Brooklyn Brawler, El Gigante, and Silver King run in.)
It's not nearly as bad as when TNA had Booker T and Robert Roode teaming together mere weeks after Roode PUNCHED BOOKER'S WIFE IN THE FACE.
