In the current continuity Jonathan and Martha Kent are both alive and well. Prior to crisis they had died while Clark was still in Smallville. Byrne changed when he took over the title.
as I said before I believe Jonthan is dead in the movie so it goes along with that. I thought the whole back in time Lana saving crap was obnoxious and half assed. Obviously the people who worked on buffy/angel remembered that episode where the exact same thing happened and Angel was the only one who remembered. Also I really cant stand clark and lana relationship its just bothersome, they either need to stay together or be completly done. Like she needs a new bf to kill that storyline.
I really wanted the episode to end halfway through, would have been perfect like that. Jonathan dying was so stinking predictable and worse I actually liked his character, seeing his farmboy justice moments were always hilarious. Lana served her purpose in the show ages ago , much would have liked her to get the axe but alas wasn't to be. I guess now she will just be Lex's trophey for the next season.
Still it isn't too late for the story to become better for it, if Clark honestly started to hate Lana and branch out, maybe find some of the other thousand girls in Smallville this could become good.
Im calling my shot now. Chloe will die prompting Lois to become a reporter. Wether its at first something to help solve her murder and continuing to do her work etc etc..w/e..its gonna happen.
I don't know if anyone else considered this, but what do you thin will happen between Lionel and Martha now that Johnny boy is out of the path? We all know he has a thing for her.
Who was that chick in the mask w/ Clark? Sorry, just caught that minute or two when they were looking for that one guy. Why's he looking for him and what does he have? Haven't seen the show in ages.

Two guys jumped Martha Kent and took Jonathan's watch. The lady that saved Martha was dubbed, The Angel of Vengeance. She and Clark were looking for the same guy. (The guy mugged and killed AoV's mother.)
last nights episode was prob the weakest of the season. Next week we get to see the first appearence of CYBORG from the Teen Titans. Prob won't be as good as Flash or Krypto was last season but still a surprising choice..............
Every show through a whole season cant be "knock your socks off" great so if you dont go in with your expectations up so high, maybe some of the season "fillers" wont let you down as hard.

Perhaps, but it would have been a good idea to at least have a few fairly good episodes following a really big event like the 100th "death" episode in order to hook new viewers who tuned in.

I can agree with that. After a big one like the 100th, have a smaller but still big bang episode to keep the ball rolling and go from there. Im thinking theyll do something big between Lex and Clark at the end of this season.
Prolly another lame JLA refrence "maybe we should start a junior lifeguard association" or "maybe we should start a league or something?" I kinda want the show to end instead of dragging on a good thing.
[quote name='whitereflection']Someone please tell me how Cyborg threw Clark through a brick wall if he can't bust out of a chair.[/QUOTE]
So I take it is was another mediocre episode? I didn't bother watching it this week.
[quote name='ryanbph']it was an ok episode...just futher made a split between some characters[/QUOTE]
Yeah, besides showing more of the Lana/Clark fallout, they also highlighted Lex/Clark relationship. This is one of the first eps that actually show Lex...well, maybe I should do it this way, just in case:
It showed Lex full out lying to Clark's face about what he did in the episode
Also, the other thing I liked about this one was that:
Though you knew Lionel knew about Clark's abilities, at the end of the episode he promises to keep Clark's power's secret...and he calls him "Kal-El."
Your highlighting trick is awesome, but I'm no good at that stuff so if you don't like spoilers, don't read below here...

Was Lionel's final comment meant to imply...
1) Lionel knows Clark's secret because he remembers being controlled by Jor-El
2) Lionel just plain knows Clark's secret and has figured it out, waiting for the right time?
3) Lionel is still under Jor-El's control, and essentially Jor-El is using Lionel to stay close to his son?
Any of the above scenarios seems reasonable. I get the idea that Jor-El is utilitarian rather than evil, and in the end all of his "stop fussing over these individual human lives" talk will have been meant to steer Clark into an understanding that if he is going to be a true hero he will have to realize that he has to do what's right for everyone, not just what's right for those certain people in his life.
All that is to say that I can't remember Lionel doing anything (truly evil) that would be out of character for someone still being controlled by Jor-El (I have missed a couple of episodes). Even the pictures he showed Jonathan when he died could fall under an attempt to be more involved in Clark's life or a better position to influence Clark, etc. If I remember correctly, they wrote it in such a way that Jonathan was more or less the one who turned it violent. That would also be an interesting/symbolic twist - Jonathan's final sacrifice ultimately his attempt to protect Clark from Jor-El. Thoughts?

It's just new BB code. Whatever text you want to hide, do this:
Is there a Kristen Kreuk sex tape out there? Cause i came across this one 30 second video that was obviously shot on a camera phone and theres three chicks and a dude and the middle chick looks alot like her.

Hahahahaha, I have no idea what you're talking about, but when I read that I laughed out loud.
No im serious. I cant remember where i saw it online. Its like a 30 second video of three chicks and their blowin this guy. The middle chick looks ALOT like her. Its been bugging me for days. I have to see if i can find it again.
I know what sex video you are talking about it's short as hell and I always wanted to have a longer version or one with sound. That video is old as shit. Lana was prob like 12 when that video was made but damn that is one of the hottest bjs with 3 of the cutest girls I have ever seen. It couldn't have been a video phone cause they just weren't readily available then. It's def not her just 3 cute lil hos.
On a related note now that Lana is free I can hit it.
Is it ok for me to post the video if i do it in that spoiler cloak with major NFSW warnings? And also maybe not make the link clickable? I dont wanna get banned over this.
Tom Welling has the easiest job in the world. All he does is make out with hot chicks and pretends to be Superman, AND he doesn't even have to wear the blue and red spandex.
[quote name='SteveMcQ']Though I'm sure many would love that link, I'd say no.
BTW, Rig...how'd it happen? Too many things to do and Smallville hasn't been on my list for years now. Damn.[/quote]
Clark was put under hypnosis and was told to break it off with Lana. Lana walks in on him making out with the hypnotist woman and Clark does indeed break it off with her.
Later in the episode, after everyone has learned of the hypnosis, Clark decides to tell Lana he loves her no more. (Doesn't want to hurt her anymore, etc.) So, Martha Kent put it all in perspective nicely when she said something like: "Now, you've given Lana a reason to hate you." I think she's definitely going to begin getting closer to Lex now.

You hit that right on the nail, as thats who she first confided in after leaving the Kent farm. I see this as only furthering Lex's cause, as he now has the one thing that Clark can't resist. I think the cliffhanger end of the season will probably having Lana catch Clark using his powers and then the famous To Be Continued will pop up, followed by a trailer for Superman Returns.

I don't think I'm spoiling now that we're into thoughts about future episodes, but I would expect the opposite. I think Clark will somehow walk in on Lana and Lex.
Really it will be interesting to see what they do with the plotline moving forward. Surely they won't try to continue the will they/won't they anymore. Now what's the story?
I missed the last 2 minutes of last week's episode, by the way. Due to tornado weather and over-zealous weather people who felt the need to bust in on the show every 15 minutes. I appreciate that they want to keep people safe, but the stations here in the Midwest are so scared of getting scooped on the latest weather disaster they break in on shows to announce nothing at all.
Ex: "Lana, I need to tell you that...//////..."Channel 5 Weather here. It looks like this the storm has passed over and is headed East. (Yes! That means we can get back to the show!) We expect rain and patches of lightning, but for the most part the storm is over (tapping my foot). If you look at our map (Map! Who cares about the map!), here's where the storm started 3 weeks ago. A cold front blowing in from Canada met a warm front from California in Northern Colorado (Can't they cover this on the news tonight???). Then the storm started heading South, until it hit a Northern current blowing out of Mexico (Wondering whether or not it will be worth watching the whole episode over again when the DVD set comes out just to see what I missed). Here's where the storm blew in at around 6:00 tonight (why coulnd't you just start HERE!?!?). And now at 8:15 when we broke in on your favorite show for the first time, we had confirmed lightning strikes here, here, here, and here (Yes, I was IN it!). Finally, the storm passed through and it looks like we're all safe and sound, at least for tonight (Finally! At least maybe I can catch next week's preview!). As for those living East of our viewing area...(Aaaaargh!!!). Finally they cut back and I catch the final couple of frames of next week's episode.
[quote name='LinkinPrime']Ok so before the season started I remember the announcer saying "This season, everything you have been waiting for will happen"
Clark hasnt flown (officially)
Lana doesnt know he's an alien
So what were you guys waiting for because none of the stuff I was waiting for/expecting has happened.[/QUOTE]
Clark and Lana got together.
All the things you mentioned happened, and they showed how it would play out. They never said it was going to *stay* that way.
Even Lex and Lana got together and they showed that playing out.
Two other things are pretty obvious as well...
One...that "everything you have been waiting for" was a thinly-veiled advertisement that Cleark and Lana would have sex.
Two...that they were most likely referring to Superman fans as the "you". And I am guessing that this season has pretty much covered everything that the Superman "fans" have been expecting. In other words, they gave more than they had to when they did an episode where Lana actually found out Clark's secret, etc.
I get your disappointment with no "real" flying so far, but the season's not over yet.
[quote name='ryanbph']It was a pretty good episode, no one has said anything about the apparent setup by lex for simone and clark which pushed Lana into his hands.[/quote]
Yeah, by watching the episode, it was easy to see he was trying to further both is causes. (Trying to find out Clark's powers and trying to get Lana.)

I don't think there was anything apparent about it (it was pretty clear), but it was interesting. Lex is certainly going after Lana full force now and is obviously going to get her. Painful to watch. She was sure to die though, soon as she found out Clark's secret.
