So, I'm getting McDonalds for lunch today...
I know i feel bad for the people that can't have either Sonic or In N Out both are the bomb...only problem with Sonic is the closet one to my house is 30min away
Sonic taste like crap.

mcdonalds = nastiest shittiest restaurant (sans krystals) of all time!!!
I think McDonald's fries are... Everytime I've gone there it's been drenched in salt. It's like hmm... like my Salt w/ side of fries.
This is why, no matter where I go, I always ask for no salt on my fries. You get a fresh batch that way, nice and hot, and can add your own salt. Often, I don't even add salt myself. The ketchup usually contains enough by itself.

Five Guys goes way overboard on the fries. My wife and I always order a small, and we always have way more than we can eat. I've tried to bring home the leftovers to heat up the next day or as a snack later that same night, but they just don't taste the same (and I still end up throwing out most of what I bring home because I can't possibly eat them all).

Most fast food places have 1 item that I order consistenly. I just wish that I could find a single establishment that sells them all!

I just wish we had a Sonic near us for the delicious drinks. I don't think I'd eat the food, though.

A Sonic finally opened up near me last summer and I was so excited that I would finally be able to try it out. The fries suck, the tots suck, the burgers are whatever, the chicken sandwiches are whatever. I was very disappointed in the food. The drinks on the other hand are very good. I love their Ocean Water.

oh you wanted food from Sonic?! I only go there for the drinks lol the food is just mediocre at best

Yeah I avoid McDonald's like the plague.

Seldom get fast food period, especially burgers. If I'm going to eat an unhealthy burger, I'd rather save it for a sit down place with great burgers rather than fast food crap.

For fast food burgers, Five Guys is definitely my favorite. I do agree with the above that the amount of fries is ridiculous--but you can usually ask them to just give you less. Otherwise you need 2 and often 3 to finish a small fry.

Of the more common chains, Hardee's/Carl's Jr is probably the best as the thickburgers are decent.

In N Out is probably the most overrated IMO.

forget the fries, onion rings!! LOL Sonic has the best onion rings so far, then jack in the box and that's about it since everyone else sells regular fries...ooh and those waffle fries from chikfila are okay.
chickfila is pretty good i like all their dipping sauces. the guy who runs the franchises is super religious i believe so he keeps the place closed on certain holidays.
Dude...Chik-fil-A is closed every sunday lol.

I stay away from all fast food that isn't a sandwhich shop, Subway-type place. I see the calorie and fat contents and just can not eat it.

When Sonic opens in CT though, I will go once.
I swear McDonald's sprinkles crack in their food... especially their vanilla crack cone.
thats the one thing on their menu that has stay consistently good.

I used to eat the shit out of the apple pies when I was a little kid. They're all baked and shit now.

some places you can still get them fried just depends on the area not to mention some diff areas have diff pie flavors.
If you don't eat In N Out fries within 5 minutes they suck. Besides that, they are excellent.
In & Out fries are the worst fries I've eaten in my entire life, sorry. It's like eating sticks of bread. However, I only eat them 'animal style' since it makes them taste so much better.

Thats because they are actual potatoes unlike the crap that McD tries to pass off as potatoes

I know, but I don't know... they're just really dry and maybe too thin IMO. Maybe if they'd make them a little thicker.

For the most part, I hear you. I was raised to care what I put in my body, even though I wasn't exactly raised to keep my body 'fine tuned.'

Subway gets the job done, though lately I've been indulging in more cholesterol packed alternatives thanks to my girlfriend (of 9 months) who was raised to enjoy food to it's fullest. Yet somehow she eats McNasty's like a starving cow, lays around all day smoking blunts, and doesn't get fat, chunky, or out of shape. It must be all that hard sex she's getting from her other boyfriends... (whatever keeps her looking good I suppose) ;)

Also, Burger King's fries are too gritty and don't go down as easy as McDonalds. McDonalds' fries are aerodynamically engineered to allow for maximum fry consumption. They're salty as fuck, greasy as hell, and smooth as Peter North's lubricated johnson. These qualities combine with the mildly sweet ketchup to create a quadruple-Falcon Punch of cheap, deliciousness.

I think the best fast-food I've had was on a business trip a few years back, in the Orlando area. The place was called Tijuana Flats, and they served really tasty burritos, and had a really awesome salsa bar.

I wish they'd bring that place up to Cincy.

Five Guys was good too... probably the best quick burger I've had, though the place itself had a certain greasiness to it that kinda permiated the air.

Five Guys is the best for burgers and fries. We finally got one in MN, in the yuppie city of Edina of all places. I agree they go way the fuck overboard on the fries, but if you pace yourself and use malt vinagar, you can finish them. I wish they offered Guacamole on their burgers. I only eat there 1-2 times a month because their fries are rated #4 most unhealthy by a magazine. You've gotta order the cajin spice on them.

We got sonic like a year ago, and I agree, their food is the worst, even by fast food standards, but their drinks are awesome! The drive-in thing is just a gimmick. How the hell can a place like make it in a state that has cold weather for half the year?

Hell yeah on the malt vinegar!!! I don't even bother with ketchup at Five Guys. We only eat there occassionally, also (whenever our son has to get a haircut - Five Guys is right next door). Also, I thought they were ranked #1 in most unhealthy?

Does anyone remember the name of the tiny little drive-through place that sold McDonald's quality food (I think they got their buns from the same distributor)? My hometown used to have one, and I'd go there all the time because it was cheap as hell.
2 years, kiddo.

In St. Paul, maybe. 1 year ago in Cambridge and Elk River.

I always order my burgers at Five Brothers (as my dad calls it) with relish, grilled onions & 'shrooms, mustard and either hot sauce, A1 or BBQ.

It's actually pretty good with hot sauce.
Who would think relish would be good on a burger? I think next time I'll do pickles instead of relish.
Green peppers are nasty on burgers.

I've tried their hot dog, and it isn't that great.
And who orders veggie burgers and grilled cheese from five guys?

LoL @ Five Guys calling the one patty a "little" burger.

It's like they're saying "C'mon you cheap pussy, order a real MAN burger!"

My son eats the grilled cheese from Five Guys, and I always get the kosher hot dog with ketchup, mustard and relish.

That's like noodles - I'm convinced the only reason they have mac & cheese on the menu is for parents who bring their little kids.

Yeah, ordering anything else for the little guy would be a waste of money.

I believe that Chicago has 2 Five Guys locations now, but we haven't eaten at the other yet. It's in Lincoln Park, and parking over there is a nightmare.

I'm actually going to Taco Bell tomorrow afternoon on my drive back to MI. Haven't been there in a while.

I hate Sonic! That place is foul... People seem to love it because of three things, none of which have anything to do with the food. They are as follows:

1. The name of the restaurant.
2. The scarcity of the locations, and the trek usually required to reach one.
3. The fact that it has maintained its drive-in status.

A good friend of mine used to love Sonic, I have no clue why though. Every time he'd say "Hey guys! Let's go to Sonic and get some food!" I'd be the first one to poop on the party and say "Oh yay! We get to drive a half-hour to sit in my car and eat Burger King quality food... Joy!"

LoL @ the first 2.

It's at least a half hour drive for me too. My Dad and I will go there on the way to menards. I won't go there in my new car because I don't want to mess it up. I'll order outside.

Yeah, ordering anything else for the little guy would be a waste of money.

Wouldn't a Hot Dog work too? It's cheap and not much to eat.

Are you thinking of Krystal? Maybe that's just a down-South place, but I remember their burgers being like the spawn of an unholy union between McDonalds and White Castle.
Fortune, I'm still baffled by your post #79. I'm not sure if you were joking, or not.
LMAO! Joking about which part?

Yep, it's the south's version of White Trashle.

I went there when I went to Atlanta, and there's nothing special about them.

They didn't have anything other burgers. No chicken fish, or anything.

Remember when White Castle had Turkey? LoL it tasted and looked just like chicken.

Nope. I actually just thought of it: Hot 'N Now. I used to eat the shit out of those burgers and fries.

I was confused about the girlfriend part of your post (the multiple sex partners).

LMAO! Yes, I was joking. I only said that because she was hovering over me as I typed. But then again, who the hell really knows what she gets into when we're apart; that little stoner...
