TOS seems like the best for unlocking CAS stuff. You also get some I think for getting achievements. I think you get something ever 5 that you get.

Just a random female Cervantes, named her Cerina (get is?). I wanted to work with unusual colors and make her somewhat memorable.

LoL, I have to fight your Marge... That sounds pretty funny. I've also now made a few Castle Crashers Knights... Which are just funny and odd to mess around with:) Tracy from Toshinden, Yuki from Last Blade, Hibiki from Last Blade... Persona 3 Mitsuru and the games Hero... It's fun to make loads of CAS in this game!

Edit: Pictures of my CAS. PArdon the poor camera quality (-_-; ) I need to redo the Castle Crashers Knight... Got the helmet colors Inverted! (-_-;; ) (Rei's made by my brother, BTW)

I was catching up with this thread and was about say where are all the custom character screens.

SAB-CA: Hibiki from Last Blade?? Niiice. I should make Kaede.

Haven't found time to play much or figure out a lot of the CAS stuff. So far I've made the following. Fighting style in ():

Han Myong (Yunsung) - Seung Mina's father from Soul Blade/Soul Edge
Li Long (Maxi) - SCIII style w/ the straw hat
Zatanna (Kilik? No short magic wand types) - Justice League, DC Comics
Liu Bei (Cervantes) - Dynasty Warriors 6 model

I would've made Hwang, but so far I haven't found good costume pieces yet. SC2 Hwang 2P might be easy to do, but I'm leaning more towards 1P or even his costumes from Soul Blade and SCIII.

I'll take screens tonight if I can find my camera.

Last Blade Charas rocks in SC! :D Kaede should work well, given all the lightning going on in this game...

Hope to see your pics too, hehe, Liu Bei DW6 style is especially awesome. Oh, and Amy has a Short Magic Wand as her "Joke Weapon", maybe that will work for your Zatanna? I have a custom Talim wearing that Top hat... (And Amy's Night Butterfly Dress, all colored gold/green/white, to recall her 1p color schemes...)

I called my Gamestop today where I pre-ordered my game and they finally got the keychains in, so if you got yours from EB/GS you might want to give them a call if you want the keychain. It's a pretty nice keychain, a little bit heavier than I thought it would be. There's an inner ring that spins vertically and the Soul Calibur logo piece in the middle spins horizontally.
 
I think I just noticed that... I was playing as Shura vs Cervantes (who I never played as before) and we did the exact same moves at the same time. I guess I can't use those dual Katanas and have to use the weapons of Cervy... That sucks.

I haven't read the thread in a while, so excuse me if this has been discussed:

1. Does the game fix the problems of SC3?

2. Is the game good?

3. Is the PS3 version superior?
 
Well, and there's not a really good stick on the 360 yet.

Tournament standard is simply which version of the game is going to be used in tournaments.
 
So, if you're not interested in tournaments, don't have an arcade stick for either system, this all basically boils down to controller preference.
 
I actually use the D-Pad for this game. I don't know what an Attack throw is for Floor 4 though. Having a bit of trouble getting that treasure. Also Floor 20 with the Crit finish (Almost had it but the game was like nope, not recognizing that L1 press).
 
just a heads up incase anyone hasn't figured it out: alot of the stuff you can unlock in the tower can be unlocked by getting quite a few of the "honors"

I've cleared the tower, but most of my item unlocks have been with honor.

heads up:

I made a Marcus Phoenix (GoW) created character... I'm scared at how close I got to it. proves how good the CaS is >_<

I'll post pics when I have time.

Yeah, 30 honors basically gives you every piece of equipment, but if you buy the stuff in the store you still have to go back for the requirement in the Tower for the Legendary Hidden Treasures Honor.

I'm pretty sure I've unlocked everything now other than some of the rings that give huge stat boosts.
 
I only noticed slowdown on certain stages...like the pirate stage (I hate that stage).

Someone with the LE unlocked content should should show it off...lol

Its an attack..that throws, not a grab ;) For example, I believe I used Sigfried's attack where he stabs you and tosses you back.
 
Oh, you mean those impaling attacks that toss an opponent afterwards? Should be easy to do once I figure out how.

Can someone help me? Im on level 21 ascending. I have to voluntarily get a ring out, but the game wont let me jump off the stage. I was able to do it after i won, but it didnt give me the treasure.

PS the online is gay. I tried for a while to find a match and it kept saying lobby was full or something. So i tried a little later and then i had to sit in some line watching someone else fight. Sorry i want to play, not watch someone else fight. What the hell.

Maybe i can get someone from here to do some private matches. I just want to do them mainly for the achievements. My live gold runs out on august 12th, and id like to get them all before it runs out.

Block and keep trying to jump off into the sea. This game tries to help you stay in the ring more. Also, if you have Nullify Ringout as a skill, that might be making it harder to ring yourself out.

SeanAmI: I'll try to borrow my gf's camera to get the equipment list b/c my camera is pretty blurry when it comes to text.
