The way kudzu thrives is that it gets the most sunlight possible. So, it climbs trees, phonepoles, whatever it can to get as much sun as possible. By doing so, when it piggybacks on another plant (tree in this case), it takes up all the available sunlight and the tree is starved and cannot photosynthesize. Thus, death.

Kudzu almost can't be killed. It'll get brown, but it won't die. fucking heavy bitch, too.
Goats seem to have no problem killing it.

I dunno either, but that exploding car wreck disintegration and reconstruction would be a ridculously cool effect for a Burnout game.

It'd be even better in real life!

I think the target audience are fans of the Underworld series. Hell, when my partner saw the commercial a few nights ago he thought it was another Underworld movie...

Ugh...I need to pull the crap out from underneath the the kitchen sink as I'm sure the exterminators are gonna want to spray there. As for the long as walk in closet in the hall...fuck that. Too much shit in there, plus it would take up most of the space in the living room...

Not like this was the first time that's happened.

Nah. The trigger sear holds the hammer in place rather than letting it come forward. My camera sucks, so nevermind.

The hook shaped piece on the far right is what catches hold of the hammer until you release the trigger.

I love messing with nuns heads.

Today I decided to say that Creationism and Evolutionism happened both at the same time. Then contradicted myself saying that Adam and Eve did not really happen, because a piest names Father Mike said so. He said that Adam and Eve is a made up that just said how Original Sin was created. Then she had to think about if it's made up then how could it have been created in the first place if its just a story. Then the period ended and I left class. Got to love nuns.

man, there was a HUGE ass fight at my school yesterday.
At least 40 people involved, it was so bad that lunch was ended 15 min early, cops were called, and the whole school was locked down for 3 hours until the day was over and they had to send us home.

Maybe they should market it as a DS accessory instead of a seperate console... :whistle2:#

I'm guessing they'd want that.

'Cuz it would mean double dollars for them, as well as keeping people from putting that same cash toward competitors.

Just like Reggie said on the subject of Wii60 - "I'd rather people buy accessories for the Wii than from my competitors."

We discussed gender roles in my communications class, and I haven't been that pissed at reality in a while.

Signs that you need to get a new main fillie: she says she doesn't want to do college parties anymore (at the University of Michigan mind you) because she is "too old for that stuff"

Any of you listened to the new The Roots album yet? I'm sure some of you have, I really just found out about it today. Been out the music loop lately, but I'm downloading it now, should be done by the time I get home.

How is it?

Well, i just set up a new goal for myself: watch at least 2 classic movies a week. I'm sick of being left out during obscure references. I shall ascend to the status of movie scholar I always should have been.

And brak, you really seem to bring up feminism a lot in these OTTs, yet never seem to develop arguments past crass sarcasm. I understand that fanatical feminists are almost always irritating and hypocritical (Men will never experience pregnancy! Get over it!), but what is it about gender arguments that annoys you so much?
We discussed gender roles in my communications class, and I haven't been that pissed at reality in a while.

I remember, a little over two years ago, being in Linguistics class. It was a summer session (I was trying to graduate on time and was taking lots of courses), and the prof running the show couldn't have been more than 27 or so. He was incredibly young, well spoken, etc, and essentially came off like he really knew his stuff (although he was kind of an ass and the tests sucked).

At any rate, one day we were discussing the differences in how men and women communicate. For example, men like to one-up each other. If one of them tells a story about an injury, you can bet the next guy's story features something more harsh/gruesome/grievious. Women, however, tend to console the person.

So he opened up the discussion to everyone in class.

Now, I'm not exactly a social a person. So I don't give a shit what nameless people in a classroom think of me.

Knowing this (i.e., you guys reading this now), you can understand that it didn't take long for me to speak up after hearing some bullshit. A couple of girls began to talk about how their boyfriends didn't help them with their problems, how they chose instead to focus on solutions rather than reassurance. One of them spoke up about how "sometimes my boyfriend totally doesn't understand I'm upset and just want to words of encouragement."

Now I was dating a total bitch at the time, and we'd had similar occurrences in the past, so I had had it.

I proceeded to talk about how women, sometimes, just don't fucking get it. We aren't trying to invalidate your negative feelings or emotions. What we, as men, want to do is solve the issue at its core - eliminate the basis for feeling sad or upset to begin with, so that you never get mopey at all. "My girlfriend tells me that she got really upset because a professor asked her to be quiet in class a few times the other day, and called me to rant. No. Look, the deal is that if you shut the hell up, the stupid professor won't get on your damn case, and then you won't call me and get mad when I don't say the exact right thing to you when you're expecting something else that I have no damn clue about. That's the answer - to shut the hell up. Not to call me and whine about it, and then proceed to ruin my day because I just don't get it."

There were several dirty looks from those of the female persuasion, and roars of laughter and applause from the men.

I'd like to think I still have people talking about that. You know, some bitch girls who will always tell their bitch friends about "this total asshole one year from Linguistics."

That's right, honey. You dwell on it like the little bitch you are.

Oddly, my current gf was in the classroom at the time, remembers it, and still puts up with me. Which is pretty amazing, really.
what is it about gender arguments that annoys you so much?
My soulbrother and I have our reasons. Of that I can assure you.

I'm wicked pissed right now. I fell asleep at 8:30. Then I woke up at 10:00. And now I can't get back to sleep, which sucks big time because I need a "good nights rest" for tomorrow. I'm maxing out for my coach and I want to be at my best. Ah well, I guess I'll just play Pheonix Wright or something...

This didn't have anything to do with a particular gender. It was a discussion about gender roles. The teacher explained that we needed to speak in general, to apply them to communications (how genders communicate, etc.), which she did a good job of doing... but my class is full of retards, who were speaking in absolutes, saying things I know idiots think, but never want to hear them say.

I get disgusted when I think of people as animals - which they are - and I do all the time... but today just sucked the soul out of my asshole, Bubba Ho-tep style. It confirmed that, in addition to being animals, that we, as a society, think within a set structure, within the box and conform us and others into certain standards and presets.

Also, Strell, the instructor pretty much stated what you said, but sugar coated so the females in class wouldn't get pissed -- which is a lesson within a lesson.

I know senorwoohoo has a review he wrote about it in his signature. I don't usually listen to hip hop, but I'm listening to a few songs right now, and its not awful (definately better than the obnoxious, loud as fuck, same instrumental for every other song, gangsta rap my brother listens to)

Yep I've listened to it, not their best cd but if you like the roots there's plenty to like about game theory.

ahh, now I get where you're coming from. In fact, I had a few similar experiences this year in English class. It started around the beginning of the year, when we read some sentimental monologue about a girl looking for pity because she has an alcohol problem, and her best friend just died, and her boyfriend is abusive. Although the girls in the class just pitied her (the majority of the class was girls) I was the one person who mentioned how the story was structred, stating that some vague portions of the story were things the girl did not want to admit, such as how she could easily leave her boyfriend and her old life behind. This, of course, lead to a riot from the most outspoken (i.e. loudest and stupidest) girls in the class. Having a young and feminist teacher didn't help either. After about two more cases of this, I just shut up (until Catcher in the Rye, which, believe it or not, I excelled in)

Funny how i didn't recall this kind of shit until now... i guess i just assumed your adult class would be a bit more level headed brak. Once again, i doubted American stupidity.

We discussed topics similar to that... except it was the instructor talking about it, throwing it to the students, and the students chiming in with unlinked ideas and comments.

Females tend to speak extremely indirectly of their problems, in way of fishing for a "everything will be alright" so they don't have to fix the actual problem, which is well within their limitations. When they express these "feelings" to a male, a disconnect in communication occurs, as the male may not be able to link the indirect comments to the source of the problem, as men tend to speak towards, and search for, a certain goal in communication.

The students weren't discussing so much that, as they were making allusions towards a male being homosexual ( gasp! ) if he doesn't like sports, and that women look for calloused hands, money and cars ina mate.

I might be rambling, but that's 'cos I'm fuckin' tired.
