There used to be slightly more pink but whatsherface (Hamster avatar) stopped posting, so did BridgetFisher and UtopianMachine posts way less.

So yeah, it's kind of a sausage factory, which by the way is the name of a restaurant in the Castro in SF.

I'll take Dishonored over Thief 2014.

Thief 2014 is like more of a much-more modernized Thief: Deadly Shadows. Also, Thief 2014 will likely force the player to play more stealthy. Most skills, moves, etc - they are stealth-based. You have this open-world City where you have main quests + side quests - much like Thief: Deadly Shadows. You can roam through people's houses, steal from houses, and stuff of that nature. This game has a much more realistic look and is much more technical that what Dishonored is doing. If any game makes you feel like Thief with the way your character (Garrett) moves his hands around objects and opening drawers - no game does this better than Thief. In terms of character development + story - Thief 2014 is nowhere as good as Dishonored.

Dishonored feels more like the older Thief games (Thief 1 + 2), in many ways. It takes a lot of inspiration from those games, gameplay-wise + structure-wise. You have mission after mission here, like the old Thief games. Though, within in each huge mission area / map, you also do have some side-quests you can take on. Up to you. And there's also tons of lore and stuff to find, to get your further immersing into the game-world + experience. Though, on default difficulty - you can kill like a madman and still get through levels, though it won't get you the "best" ending. Unlike Thief 1+2 - in Dishonored, you also having magic, supernatural abilities and other skills at your disposal which are awesome - so awesome you might not even want to go full blown stealth. Some of the skills and combining them are just lots of fun. On the technical-side for the graphics quality, Dishonored is certainly not on Thief 2014's level; but I absolutely love the look + style of the art direction here; it's fantastic.

Hahaha, I'm surprised what a gendered view most people interpreted from that.

I was actually meaning I saw everyone as a collection of slightly dehumanized oddballs... hmm, I don't think I expressed that right.

It's like playing a WoW guild for years then finally meeting some of the people and thinking jeez Jim is a lot taller than I imagined. Oh blah that's not quite the right explanation either.

It's art. The interpretation of meaning is in the heart of the viewer. Yeah, lets go with that.

Nah, it really is that I imagine all of you as little funny/oddball monsters

I know I don't use one and it still only takes like two seconds for my computer to get to desktop from sleep mode and maybe fifteen seconds to load a game.

 
I went with the Crucial MX100 as my SSD boot drive. It's well reviewed and not shady. Plus it's possible to get it on sale every now and then.

Do I see any real-world difference as opposed to a PNY or a Kingston? No idea. But it's superduper and I can't live without it.

yea as someone else posted, kingstons are kinda crap. Id say scan newegg for some sales but i havent gotten one of their sales adds since around xmas for some reason

As someone said the sammy evo is one of the better ones but a bit priceyer.

that link updates every month and is usually helpful. I did some research this past year off and on because i bought like 4 different SSDs for various builds i was doing. If your on a budget the crucial ones aren't too bad for the price
