Warner is releasing a huge wave of Steelbooks in the US. Some of them appear to be former BB exclusives, but many haven't reached our shores before. They're possibly doing this for their 90th anniversary.

They all release May 7th. Most, if not all of them are up on Amazon already too, just enter the UPC on amazon and it'll show up

The BB exclusive ones may have just been timed exclusives, but it is possible that these may differ in some ways from those. I think they'll all include UV copies, and may have some sort of 90th anniversary banner or sticker on them or something.

I hope more effort is put into the steelbooks' designs. It they're nothing more than a typical cover slapped on a steel, I'm a lot less inclined to rebuy a movie I already have. Several of those movies are among my favorites, but I've already picked them up cheap elsewhere. That being said, it's nice to see more steelbooks widely released in U.S.

Also, I hope they are better quality this time too.
The previous US versions of the same steels released in Canada were made with cheaper matte printing on the front and no interior artwork.

I really hope these aren't all like that and maybe as BBY exclusives they didnt want to spend the money

I have the Batman Anthology set, and the Batman (1989) digibook, but the steelbook for that, and Batman Returns will be the most tempting out of what's listed there.

If the Watchmen steel looks like the one from Canada, I might consider it as well, even though I already have the BD for that too.

Same thing I was thinking. I already have the Ultimate Cut, but Canada's Steelbook is pretty awesome, so I'd definitely double dip.

I don't think the sale has gone live yet. This happened last time when the links for Indiana Jones 1-3 steels were posted before they went live, the the pages said "sold out" for several days before being available for purchase.
