Anyone ordered Justice League: War steelbook from target.com get the steelbook ver and not the regular ver
 
Is there a site or some source where one can follow steelbook releases? There's a few movies I'm considering going through the hassle to get (aka paying higher prices on eBay for) but won't even know who will carry it. Winter Soldier for example is one I have my sights on assuming there will be one for it.

 
One has already been announced for the UK (available on Zavvi) and there's strong rumors that Best Buy will be getting one too.
 
Best Buy has had limited releases for most of the Marvel stuff. Hulk green case and cover, slipcovers for Cap'n and Thor, steelbook for The Avengers and Spiderman and Thor 2. I cant remember Iron a Man stuff.

I'd assume it'd probably be Best Buy if there is one.

Edit: and I'm well aware that Spider-Man isn't a Marvel film.

This is the forum I follow. Members post new finds regularly, but keep in mind a lot of it is international stuff. Look for the Target, Best Buy or Walmart logos to the left of the thread titles for exclusive releases; look for the American flag for general US releases.

Edit: Oh yeah, and BB will supposedly have one for Winter Soldier, though it's unconfirmed.

It isn't online only, either the demand was higher for this or it is more limited than other Target Exclusive DC Comic steelbooks.  I have 3 Targets in the immediate area and the two that I first went to didn't have any; got extremely lucky at the 3rd where it was near the main entrance at the New Releases section.  For both Dark Knight Returns and Justice League: War, my main Target had plenty in stock at noon for context.

Mine had them up front at one of the checkout lanes, versus having them in the back with the rest of the movies. Previous ones I've picked up have been in both locations, or much more of them than a handful at the checkout lanes. I think the Target I went to had 3-5 copies not including the one I picked up.

 
The Target I found mine in had them in both sections, Children's New Releases and New Releases by the entrance.  Can't say about the amount the store had but I was able to select from only 2 copies.

 
Swingers is back in stock for preorder at Zavvi.  It used to say Ultra limited run (2000) now it says limited. Did they increase it to 4k?

How much is the green Hulk worth now and where do I sell it to get close to its value? EBay I assume?
 
FYI,

I live in a small market and my Target had 6-8 copies of the latest animated batman movie (steelbook). The ones up front by the register were the standard plastic case and the ones in the kid's movie section were the steelbooks.

The only Target blu I've ever missed out on, that was sold in stores, was the Evil Dead remake and those sold out within an hour or so of the store opening---everything else they've had there have been plenty

Same here. The day that guy gets $269.99 is the day that mine goes up on eBay (along with the Captain America one).

I gave mine away. I have the Italian steelbook for Cap'n and regular 3D for Thor. I saw those skips come in a few times where I used to work so I'd take em and give em to friends.
 
If it were the international Cap or Thor steels then maybe but the US doesnt have very good quality steels. Iron Man 2 from Target comes to mind. The Scarface steel I grabbed for 5 was worth it.

I got the  Justice League: War from target.com it  wasn't the steelbook ver :whistle2:( and they take out the steelbook ver picture for the regular picture

I couldn't find the Son of Batman steelbook in any of my Targets so I ordered the steelbook from Target.com (for which they had a SEPARATE listing).... They sent the regular edition and now took down the listing for the steelbook.

They took it down probably because someone complained after the just changed product page by removing the mention of the steelbook. I got lucky and got the steelbook, but when I got the shipping notice they already took out the word steelbook from the description.

 
I'll check my Target to see if they have anything. Last time I was there, they still had an Evil Dead steelbook. Had a few Wolf of Wall Streets too. Most of them don't sell out for a while.
