Oh, I get it now.  It's not reversible, it's probably two-sided.  Two front covers and no back cover. There's probably just two different versions because of the hinge placement?

I guess it'll be one with Batman on the front and Superman on the back with the other one having them swapped. I wouldn't call that reversible, I'll it two-sided as well.

At least the ones for Age Of Ultron were separate and different, not two-sided like this one might be.

Do note that these are NOT re-releases of the previously released Time Life DVDs. These are brand new and have fewer episodes. The previous volumes had 30-32 episodes per set (except Volume 5 since that finished off the show), whereas these only have about 11-12 episodes per set.

Just giving you a heads up that that Ghost in the Shell will likely be 20% off next week at Best Buy so you may want to save your receipt for a price adjustment. Not sure about the other ones.

They both look good to me and with Lego Dimensions even my kids want to watch Ghostbusters. Apparently there's a steelbook release for both at Best Buy in July. Hopefully these are the designs.

Lol... I paid $113 for this when it first came out, jumped on go joe and transformers too. I'm a sucker for nostalgia, also since its pertains to this thread, the movies are housed in steelbooks.

Regarding the bby ghostbusters steelbook, it has been long rumored on br.com that will be the cover art.

Yeah, well rest easy since the time life set is going OOP hard and now is easily around 200 bucks new. Also the steelbooks are pretty collectible but surprisingly not super expensive if you are willing to camp out on ebay.

It's a bummer the 30 dollar set isn't complete but considering that I'm trying to get rid of most of my DVD collection I'm happy to add to it as limited as I can.

Yay! Might have to celebrate and let me kids watch. Funny how crap I watched as a 7 year old is much worse than your average PG film these days. I showed my son pictures of the librarian, gozer, and a couple of ghosts and he was pretty hesitant on whether he could handle it.

You should be okay. The regular version has a different DPCI.

Steelbook: 058-39-0625

Amaray: 058-39-0624

Of course, the downside to different DPCIs is that there's now a much lower chance of the Steelbook version dropping significantly in price.

That's the first time they've done that in a long while. Let's hope it cuts down on the mistakes, plus it gives the reps easier ways to find the SBs versus Amaray copies.

I'll go in-store if I have to, though prefer to have it show up at my desk. $10 GC as an incentive is an added bonus to pre-order it online.

Oddly zavvi has the steelbook with 3D so maybe there's a chance it's in the NA version but obviously the digital copy is then junk. Also it's 36 bucks shipped.

Long ago.... Best Buy would have these pre-order promotions where they set out the steelbooks instead of the cards with $5 down. It didn't take long for asshats to hoard all the steelbooks to sell since they could essentially get there money back from the preorder without having to pick anything up.
