Is the $5 RZ promo with Spectre supposed to kick in after you place the order?  I don't see it on the item page and I'm all the way at the end of the checkout process and there's no indication of it.

Wasn't there for me either, so not sure what's up with it. I placed my pre-orders for Spectre and Mockingjay Pt 2 and I may cancel/reorder later in the week if the promo shows up more clearly on the product pages.

I've held up on preordering for now because of the lack of the promo being put on the product pages. Last time this happened it was major jumping through hoops to get the bonus points applied after the fact. I'm also waiting to see if Spectre goes on sale for something more reasonable (like $19.99) by the end of the week. Also, I'm sure Mockingjay Part 2 will go on sale for $19.99 or so at release. Either way, I'm not too worried about either selling out now and will play the waiting game.

By the way, if you're interested in the Batman Bad Blood steelbook at Target I would plan on getting there early in the morning on Tuesday. Last DC Comics steelbook release they had had very limited quantities. Price for the steelbook should be $16.99. I am interested to see if they will have a deluxe edition with the steelbook and figure like they also had for the last release (for $24.99). It was confusing because they carried a regular deluxe edition (that other retailers also had) and a Target exclusive one that also contained the steelbook.

With these free $5 Reward Zone points for pre-ordering these movies how hard is it to get Best Buy to honor a lower price for them during release week and still get to keep the $5 certificate? I know it was a pain to get Target to give me the $19.99 price on The Maritain because it had a $10 gift card promo attached to it when I ordered it at $22.99.

Reward points are usually easier to adjust, because you get the points if the purchase is in your history. Price doesn't really matter, afaik.

I'm not sure Target will be getting a steelbook this time. I'm a TL for electronics and only seen DVD, blu ray, blu ray w/ Figure. Also on hands are pretty low for each version. Double check today, and no steelbook in sight.

That's odd because the weekly ad actually has the steelbook listed. Hope it's not an error in the ad.

I really hope it shows up. I collect these myself, was considering ordering from AmazonCa. Checked all the shipments and all the Batman units we had. Maybe some will come in on the trucks tonight. We usually get them 1-2 weeks in advance tho.

 
3 target stores had 0 BatMen BadBlood  STEELBOOK was there at 8 am and called the other 2 that didn't get anything in

It sounds like some stores aren't getting any in, at least initially.  I'll be checking two Targets when I go out for some errands at 9AM, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

The closest store said they get deliveries Mon, Wed, Fri, and Sat. Guess I'll try again tomorrow.

Or maybe missing a release will incentivize me to just sell off my DC Steelbook collection. Need to clear out media space anyway.

Depending on the price I'd love to get a Throne of Atlantis if you have that steelbook. I should likely sell mine at some point too but I at least need to watch them first. It's kind of mixed blessing that they are M rated as I know there's very little in the western market for "adult" cartoons but it sucks I can't watch them with my kids.

 
None at my store either, Hopefully there's a fedex shipping during the day with them, I'll have to check my PDA. With that being said, if anyone would be willing to pick up an extra for me. I'll appreciate that.

 
None of them at my local store.  Employee said they had an inventory count of 11 on the DPCI #, though they could only find 7 at the new release display.  No other locations were listed on their PDT when checking for them, so not only could they not find any steelbooks, they were off by a count of 4. 

Called another local store, they had 10 in inventory, visually checked and they had only 10 Amaray copies.

Called Target Guest Relations, asked for their COO, ended up getting some supervisor in Guest Relations, explained to them how much nonsense it was to not have Target exclusive items in a Target store when it's an advertised item in their weekly ad.  She took down my name and number and was going to talk with their media operations folks to see what they could do.

I just checked on Amazon.ca and it's about 33.80 USD now to get it from Amazon.ca.  Previously, it was a little more than 28 USD.   Guess that will be my backup plan if no one at Target can get their head out of their collective asses and figure out why stores don't have them like they should.

I can't imagine all of my local stores were cleared out by rampaging bands of flippers.

 
Yeah keep us in the loop Shrike. The Target I work near had to get some before I got there b/c there was just a big hole in the electronics section but there was several normal versions up front & the ver. w/figure in both locations.

I assume you went to South County Shrike, was the other store Fenton?

First target I went to had none. Decide to go a little farther to next nearest target, found 5, grabbed 2. So as long as the first one is ok, I have a spare for any one who wants it. You can have it at cost plus ship (priority mail, it's easier for me).
 
2 Steelbooks already on EBay for $40 each. Flippers with multiple copies; 1 in Houston other in Carona, California.

If anyone finds another let me know, I'd love to buy one. Checked 3 stores this morning. 1 store got 4 and sold out, the other 2 didn't get any.

South County I went to in person, Kirkwood was the one I called. Fenton would have been my 3rd option, though I didn't have time to call them or go there.

I think that South County's 4-unit inventory discrepancy were SBs that they either couldn't find or they were "missing" somewhere with employees trying to make a buck.

I found 10 at mine, so I didn't think it'd be rare. Only picked up two. I wasn't planning on stopping by after work, because I already have two other stops, but...

Edit: Second one is for you guys. So either iamme10 or shrike. Fight to the death?

Same situation here.  Went to 2 stores at 10:00, no steelbooks.  Just called two other local stores, same thing, they didn't receive any stock.  They expect to get some, but not sure when.  If anyone can pick up an extra, I'd be glad to buy it off you or I do have some of the older Target DC steelbooks that are still sealed that I'd be willing to trade.  I earliest one I have is JL: War and I have most of them up until this release.  Thanks and let me know!

I checked two other stores around my area, one had two copies that are both gone and one other one received none, though the electronics rep I spoke with on the phone already called corporate to complain about not getting any and having customers rip him a new one for not having an advertised item in the weekly ad.

I'll take that one off your hands happily and then elessar123 can cover iamme10 not finding one. I also know MSUHitman would happily take one off of the hands of another CAG if they can give him the hookup for one.

Went to my two closest Targets around 10am and both got no steelbooks in, and none of the regular Blu-ray in either.  Talked to an employee at the 2nd Target and he said they are supposed to get theirs on Saturday.  Hopefully they extend the sale past this Saturday if this is the case across the country.

 
One of the releases was like this. I want to say Throne of Atlantis or something showed up at my store like a day or two after.

I'm going to keep it til the weekend. Tentatively I'll sell this one to iamme10. But in case it starts arriving in stores, I'd rather not people waste money on postage.

No luck on Bad Blood at my Target.  Got there at 10 AM, but they were gone and employee said they only got in 4.  If anybody happens to pick up an extra copy, it would be very appreciated.

One of my stores was three days behind shipment, it was assault on arkham for me I think.

 
Ok I'm back checking for copies for other people, I can grab 1 more if someone wants it. If so let me know very soon before I leave.

Side not I also see steel books for Straight Out of Compton And terminator genisys

EDIT: Last Batman is gone. While I was waiting around, guy came in looking for one. Let him have it and made his day.

Last time something like this happened my store had several in stock after work so I will go tonight and check for you guys. Will be happy to pick some up for cost and shipping.
