In for a price mistake and steel to boot. Don't own any of them and have only seen Coraline, which I enjoyed so incredible deal if it goes through. :D

The tend to fix prices as soon as they notice online price mistakes, but they also usually honor the sales from online price mistakes.

They did for KOF 14 Premium Edition when it was $59.99 by accident and not $79.99.

In other news, I received my $3.13 price adjustment for TMNT, sent the request to them via email.

 
My only experience with one of their "price-mistakes" was when they listed Iron Giant as the SE for $10, but later they just changed the title and all orders reflected the normal edition for that price. They didn't honor it AFAIK since I just canceled the order afterward so BB tends to be super shady about these things. I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled the same shit with this one though.

Yup. I picked that up for $48 as well. KOF Premium was one of the best deals at Best Buy this year.

They did the same thing with Persona Q CE, but people complained and they sent GC for the difference so people can get the CE after the swap.

 
When Disney Infinity launched they had two $35 items listed at $14 and they honored both of those for everyone.

It can go either way. They had a recent price mistake with the Wolfman Legacy Collection, it was listed at $14.99 but should have been $29.99. The price actually lasted for a while and they honored it.

This one would seem to have a bigger price difference though as there is a standard non-steelbook listing for this collection on Amazon that is priced at $79.99 right now.

 
Amazon has the standard Laika 4 pack for $69.99, so the steelbook version at BB is most likely a price error or a description error.

 
Finding Dory Steelbook is up for preorder on Target.com for $29.99 plus a $5 e-gift card. Also, the Deadpool Steelbook is available for shipping on Bestbuy.com for $29.99. Not sure if it was ever out of stock but I thought I'd mention it.

I would say pretty good as most steelbooks come back in stock especially in the weeks after release but they usually sell fast (depending on the title) and are usually no longer on sale.

Also, there is talk on the bluray.com forums of the Deadpool steelbook coming back to Best Buy stores as part of a new steelbook endcap, though there is a chance it will be a completely different steelbook.

What do you mean? The iron Giant is still listed as SE for $10. Unless you thought the Ultimate Edition was going to be $10

Didn't even know it was there. Thanks for the heads up. Is the show any good? For reference, pretty casual on anime, watched death note recently (good) and ordered Perfect Blue sb from zavvi (big fan Satoshi Kon).

 
Well, RWBY isn't anime. It's by the people behind RvB (Rooster Teeth). The creator (Monty Oum) passed away during S2. I like the fluid animation, and it's on Netflix.

I had a pre-order of the Target Finding Dory steelbook and a pre-order of the 3D copy on the same order, so there were two $5 GCs on the order.  Earlier this morning, Target canceled the two $5 GCs from my pre-order because they "couldn't deliver them by the specified date".  :whistle2:k

So, the two movies are still there on the pre-order, though with the $5 discount per movie that they had due to the two GCs still on the order.  I'm expecting Target to adjust the pricing back up to the regular price, though if they don't, I'll get both the 3D copy and the steelbook each for $5 off.

Same thing happened to me, I called target, tell them about the gift card problem, they email me the gift card right away

Hmm, same exact order for me (guess many of us are double dipping with this release lol). Looks like my order is still intact though, with both gift cards.

 
I know the odds are slim, but does anyone have doubles on any of the Marvel steelbooks? There were some issues and I found that I no longer own any of them when I went to package them for my move.

I know I'll never get the Thor ones or my Italian Captain America back, but any help would be appreciated.

Which one's are you looking for? Marvel Extended Universe, or Marvel in general? I may be able to help. Also you may want to check bluray.com, good site for trading, especially steels. But be prepared to pay up for em, though some people are pretty reasonable.

 
I'd be looking for the universe ones. The only one I currently have is Civil War. The rest are gone. Gonna check around some local shops tomorrow with a police report and then see where it takes me. Figured I'd check here before paying scalper eBay prices. Thanks for the tips.

I only have the other Marvel ones, because the Extended Universe I ended up buying the Phase I and Phase II collections... Sorry. Yeah I would check the trading forums on here, and there, but you would have more luck on there. If I happen to run into any cheap, I'm always willing to help out!

 
Target has a War Dogs steelbook and Sausage Party steelbook up for preorder now.  Still listed at $22.99 so I'm going to wait and see if they get listed with a free gift card eventually.

 
Mondo Shaun of the Dead and Flash Gordon are $4.99 as well on Target.  Unfortunately in stores only, looks to be sold out online.

I have a complete set of them that are all sealed. I was planning on using them to fund my vacation coming up

Everyone is going to be disappointed when they get the standard case shipped to their homes. The DCPI is the same for the steelbook and the standard. There's no way Target still has any of these steelbooks sitting around. I even checked my local store (which shows the steelbook in stock) out of curiosity, and it's the standard case.

You also know that many were reprinted on Zavvi, right? Looking, though, I see only Iron Man 3, Winter Soldier, and Thor 2 available.

 
Weren't some of them different? I recall at least two versions of Winter Soldier, where Captain America either had the mask/cowl/hood/whatever on or off.

Wow, I believe I already own every single one of those steelbook movies in some form already (Metalpak, previous steelbook release or standard release).  Guess the prices will have to be really good for me to even consider double dipping.

 
I wonder if that Xmen DOFP steelbook is the rouge cut.  Chances are it's probably not.  If I remember correctly that steelbook was a euro release for the first cut of the film.  Hell all of the other Xmen ones were at Zavvi not that to long ago, still probably get them all anyway though.  But why or why couldn't The Martian be the one from Zavvi also.  That one looks so much better.
