I had to make a light, and I think I made it into the intersection just as it turned red. Cop wrote me up for running the light.
Go to court. If he doesn't show up, you're off the hook, if not, then they'll make a deal where they give you something like "broken speedometer," you pay the fine and your insurance remains untouched.

That's a biggie too. Three points on the license.

Georgia creeks and rivers, swollen by days of rain, burst their banks Monday, and at least five people were killed in flooding in the state, officials said.

Among those who died in Georgia was a 2-year-old child, swept out of the arms of her father by floodwaters in Carroll County west of Atlanta, emergency management director Tim Padgett told CNN.

"Floods + metro-Atlanta = Epic comedy" noted corny douchebag, h3llbring3r.

I can't afford to lose though. I really, really don't want to drop over two hundred dollars on this garbage. The $140 it's going to cost me if I go for defensive driving is already way too much.

I need this ticket gone, but I'd hate to have to pay $60 more if the cop appears in court. Fuuuuuuuuuck.

If you show up, the total you pay should be lower than the fine they're already asking for.

Either way, you're going to pay up. It sucks, but you know what sucks the most? Having to pay more every single month for car insurance. Your local gov doesn't give a shit if insurance companies make more money, so I'm sure they're more than willing to settle for something less than what's already tacked against you.

Trust me, when you show up to court, they'll have guys in jumpsuits shackled to their seat. That court has bigger fish to fry and they'll move you through as quickly as possible.

I just really really hope you weren't rude to the cop. He'll remember and if you were nice, you'll walk away with just a slightly lighter wallet.

I guess I'll talk to whoever I get to when I have my court date for pleading not guilty. That'll be my last chance to decide before I actually go to court/not go and do defensive driving.

When I had to go to court in New Paltz, this one really fat guy with two canes came in for a speeding ticket and the judge actually asked him how much he could afford, and he said $100. The judge asked if he could pay it now, and he said he'd have to walk back out to his car (which looked like quite the task for this guy) so the judge just said forget it and let him off the hook.

Hmm, if thats how it works I think Liquid should go in to the court house in a wheel chair with square wheels.
I thought you didn't have car insurance, Liquid?
The car does. I'm not covered, but I guess that I'm not doesn't matter so long as the car is and the plan allows it.

I would have been ultra fucked if the car wasn't insured.

Cars aren't insured, people are. If you didn't have insurance, then the car wasn't insured when you were driving it.

Depends on the circumstances.

I looked at the insurance card before giving it to the cop before handing it to him to make sure it was the right one. My brother and parents are listed, and I'm not.

I doubt he let me slide on something that severe.
Whoa. That's pretty bold. What makes you say that? Is it because it was so noir?

I thought the levels were much better designed in H3 and had many more memorable moments over ODST which was sort of a yawn-fest.
Because the Master Chief story arc isn't a story arc at all.

learn2write, Bungie.

So I ended up listening to Swoon yesterday, and it was pretty good. "Growing Old is Getting Old" was probably the strongest track to me. One thing I find about those guys though is that on quite a few songs they do this thing I notice on a bunch of Foo Fighters tracks, where you can chop the track exactly in half, and the first part will be calm and almost singsongy, and then it swings to the other end of the pendulum on the second half.

I kind of want one of those air ionizers for my car instead of a shitty pine tree freshener, but they're like $30, or $7 from Hong Kong. :/

The beauty of contrasts.

The dream-like "Panic Switch" melted my face off.

Big Mike didn't make his promised triumphant return today.

(He's so noir.)

ramcheck found no errors with the ram or the mobo. I'm gonna delete my video cards drivers and see if that fixes it. no clue what to do if that doesn't work

I don't dislike it, but I started going into songs halfway expecting it to happen each time. I was also kind of reminded of Gish or Siamese Dream era Smashing Pumpkins too, for whatever reason.

I wonder if the Coast to Coast listeners psychotic liars are having a field day with that.
How do you figure?
When you insure your car there's usually some provision for "other people i know who might be driving my car and have an accident."

If, before you were married, Sarah drove your car and caused an accident, it would go on your insurance policy. If there was a traffic ticket issued to someone for the accident, it would count against her license, but the accident would have to be claimed against your insurance.
I received 6 Trojan viruses yesterday all because I wanted to find out more about that mysterious creature found in Panama. It was fu_king annoying.
