BTW sealed copy might be worth maybe 200 in 10 years like somebody said. But once I've opened it and start playing it won't be worth much right even 10 or 20 years from now right? Or just just the bonus soundtrack cd or whatever it is called might be worth alone even alone if sealed? Or should I just open it and see what it is?[/QUOTE]
$200? LOL -- as spmahn said, very, very few games ever get close to even double their value. You're kidding yourself if you think this will ever be worth more than $50-60 in 10/20 years.
Let me give you an example of what it takes for a game to reach the $200 level. Only one I can think of that's appreciated close to that is the $39.99 release of Kojima's Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistance LE.
How rare was that game? Only 2-4 copies of it were shipped to Gamestops (and ONLY Gamestops). Some Gamestops didn't even get any. I'm fairly certain the only way you could get it was by pre-ordering.
That level of rarity now nets about $200 if it's brand new. Even if it's open, you can probably easily get $150 depending on what condition it's in.
That's the kind of rarity you need to get the price of a game to $200.
This Mario game? No way.
