Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Gen. Discussion & Info

Friend Code: 3952 6704 5494

I really wish someone compiled a list of friend codes. Not looking forward going through the thread looking for codes.

That was awesome. Just played about 10 games of brawl with a friend on wifi. Not too laggy at all, i'd say quality comparable to xbox live. I owned him everytime (except the first two, but that was when he picked timed games, I like stock better) I LOVE SNAKE! He is awesome! First of all (and best) is his special attack... I can literally knock 1 life and almost a 2nd easily (and if there were more than 1 person I am fighting, probably all of them) Anyone else like snake?
good god a class of 1st graders whines less than you have in this thread
Yeah, instead lets praise the lag. Its been great.

Network just got all blowed up the last hour or so. Can't even get back in to add friend codes from everyone who PM'd me. Never fear, they'll get added. Got in a couple matches with some CAGs and a friend though. And yes, I still suck.
Yeah, I was just playing a few games with Lilboo and it lagged all to hell on us. Not sure what is going on.
Lots and lots of connections. Not much worse than when Strikers launched, and Strikers sold probably a tenth of what Brawl has.

There is another secret character you get in the game which has not been revealed until now

SSE is very boring. im not surprised, i didnt like the adventure mode in melee either. to me, ssb is a multiplayer game. ill unlock the characters the fun way (falling off the edge 450 times).

on that note, had another online match, pretty fun stuff, the lag wasnt bad at all.

I can't even tell what's going on in that pic. Is that
Landmaster Tank
So wait... today's random stage was from Japan? Awesome.
I hate you. Can you post a pic of your screen to show where you're supposed to be able to play today's stage?
ll unlock the characters the fun way (falling off the edge 450 times).

Rules: Stage selection: random
Special Brawl
Stamina
Flower
Sped up (whatever it's called)
At the character select, make your opponent have 1 HP by pressing a when your hand is over their 150 HP marker. Switch it to 1HP.

After all that, basically instabrawls.
Is anyone up for some matches? Or lighters? No seriously, I want to Brawl!
I just added you, Kandal, so if you still wanna play, I'll play.
Subspace maze spoilers?
So, I went around and beat all the characters and bosses then I went back to that room where the statues where and nothing happened? I tried hitting up. I'm confused.

Press up when you're directly in front of that cavern in the distance, as if you were going through a door.
You create the game, I will join. No voice chat or communication is annoying!
pfft theres voice chat!

Actually, any game that includes multiplayer lobbies will work, so long as those lobbies don't have a timeout. All you have to do is fire up Halo 3 and host a private room for your Smash Bros. buddies. Have them join your Halo 3 lobby, fire up Brawl, and have them join your game. Voilå, Smash Bros. with voice chat.

Though Neo Ice, while it is good in theory, what if you don't have a 360? aka me. Then I can use either AIM chatroom for non-voice, but text chatting or just forum posting.

Bits o' opinion:

I like the wiimote & ’chuck combo. Not sure that it'll replace the cube controller for me, but I'm impressed at how well it works -- "A & B to grab" is a very gratifying feeling.

Digging Olimar -- I thought his range could have used some work, but the pikmin DO pile on very nicely...

I'm also enjoying SSE, but I'm playing co-op, so perhaps I wouldn't be so into it if I had to run it solo.

No opinion on online yet -- my wi-fi adaptor isn't hooked up at the moment, but that's fine: I don't mind letting the network settle down while I unlock stuff.

Only have wolf left to get, its so damn annoying. Boss mode was so much easier with a buddy and both using yoshi... with down aerial.

SSE was ok, until the final level. Which was just plain annoying and a hassle.
Let me add you, and you'll get your challenge. ;)
OK, we shall see :)
Ill add you too riyonuk :)

0774-3909-7377, add me too :)

Edit: Cant get my stupid sig right.
I added you as well. Would prefer 1 vs 1 with Mr. Beef first, if you don't mind :p

I messed around a little bit with the stage builder today. Made a stage called "spikes" - it has spikes at both ends, so you can't grab the edge. In the middle, there are four of those falling blocks, and underneath those blocks, there's another set of spikes that's underneath the stage.

I sent it in to Nintendo, so maybe you'll get it if you have Smash Service turned on.

It's pretty funny to watch the computer players on it.

I'm thinking those orbs are connection-related. Green = good, red = bad, etc.

Although one of my friends' is blue....don't know what that means.
anyone know what those different color orbs are near the persons name on friend lists?
I think the yellow one is people you have played with in one session. (I think, I haven't played that much online yet).
