Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Gen. Discussion & Info

I played around two dozen "with anyone" games last night, up to 4 players. Mostly lag-free, but a few games were laggy until the game dropped the laggers and switched them to CPUs.

Got my noob ass kicked, but I was expecting that, too. ;)

Good games as always Dast and DM. My girlfriend was sitting there watching and wants to play some Tales of Symphonia so I'm taking a break, I figured I'd bow out on the high note of slamming you with that crate. ;)
 
I saw a lot of people asking about unlocking characters.

Dunno if somebody already listed all of them in here, but Nintendo's Power Line has Brawl on it. (425-885-7529)

It tells how to get all the characters, stages, etc.

Still back and forth in emails with Nintendo about the missing Wi-Fi Options button.

I unlocked Toon Link yesterday after I finished the SSE and so far he plays pretty good he's a bit differant, but pretty much the same as normal Link except Toon link is quicker and I think he's not as strong as normal link also I played him on Classic with him as dark toon link he looks pretty cool..

So far only characters I need to unlock now are jigglypuff and wolf after I get them I'm going to finish the event matches and fight as all the characters on classic for their trophies..

When I first got the game I played the SSE for 5 hours and yesterday I finally beat it the characters I'm best with are Lucario, Zelda/Sheik, Metaknight, pokemon trainer, and Pit my favorite to play as is Lucario.

Sadly I don't have good enough internet to do online, but hopefully by begining of summer or middle I can get it then I'll be done with dial-up..
 
lol im adding everyone who added me in about a hour. I played the other nite against someone the name escapes me lol but it was a fun match i was mad cause for some reason the game picked kirby for me i dunno what happen there it was like 4-1 i think hehe my one little win made me feel good and i had to go if i can remember u name ill post but that was a great game thnx

I couldnt get into him but I will see I want sonic so bad 300 wins or complete SSE. You know im on the maze part and i swear idunno what im doing to beat the SSE.

Beat all the shadow characters and bosses in the maze. There are quite a few and then head to the upper right save room you can teleport to and head left and then upper left exit.

now on my map there is a bunch of like faces or something all those are bosses? those faces werent there before though
 
So, I've beaten SSE. I unlocked all the characters, and I'm going through all the other solo modes to attempt to unlock everything else. So far I've only had the heart to play on normal except for SSE which I'm going back through the level that I didn't get everything on hard.

Yepp. Those are all the bosses. I'm not sure what causes the faces show up.

I think my fave character in general is Lugi in Brawl.
He's the coolest.

I love that he now says "Bang Bang', his taunts are awesome, and the final smash is a sight to behold (and listen to).

He's much improved from Melee.
Luigi never fails to make me laugh in a fight.

Turning off the Final Smash ball things hurts as I don't to see him do his dance.

Have you unlocked all the editing parts? I've unlocked A and B, to get C i think I need to make another 10 maps or something. I might later, but right now I'm just working on unlocking people and doing challenges.

When you find all the rooms with the warp points, I think that's what causes them to show up.
 
Well, it turns out that one of my roommates was torrenting while we were playing last night Strell, which would explain why there was so much lag, one could actually physically kick the bog we had to play through. If you're alive right now though, let's rumble.
 
Finally unlocked all the characters. Man that was a pain.

...Now for the stages.

EDIT: Stages all unlocked. Time to work on music, events, and such.
 
Good games everyone I played. Dast, I piggybacked so many CAG friend codes from you during the last 3 hours we've played so thank you. Again, good games. I kept telling myself that each one would be the last one lol.
 
So when are we going to get a CAG tournament going? Seems like most of the people have already unlocked all the characters, and whatnot.
