Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Gen. Discussion & Info

How'd I feel? Hmm...Well, I did better than I thought, but could still use a lot of improvement. Didn't expect your Ness, but I guess since you have a strong grab game I should've.

I guess my overall feel was disappointment because you left so fast! =P
 
Oh, sorry! I'll jump back on in just a second. We'll have a few more matches!

EDIT: Oh yeah! I'm picking up Ness and Marth (or attempting to, at least)! I'll try them out against you!

Yeah, damn. I didn't think you'd be so good with Yoshi! I'm apparently still terrible with Sheik and Zelda, and I just don't like Falco or Pit very much.
 
Good games to JoeB, BlueLobstah, and Hero! Who kept picking Shadow Moses? Some of those matches took forever. I like Hero's Peach, Blue's Olimar, and Joe's Ness.

I might have, I usually just do random so it might have come up once or twice.

I love that match where we did three spikes in a row and each of us died. :lol:
 
Oh gosh. Good marathon to Blue, zitanix, Hero, and z's substitute dyeknom. Seriously. That started at 5PM with 1v1 against Blue, and now it's 8:30. I love Fridays :D. I'm glad I got to play for so long against both Blue and Hero - we rarely play one another (well, I play Blue pretty frequently).

z, I'm glad we switched it up with the characters. I noticed we slipped back into our usual characters after a bit, but it was fun while it lasted. :)

But, yeah. Three and a half hours of Smash. Today is good. :)
 
Goodie I beat joe once. This is huge achievement for me.. :cool: The air dodge has lag on it so I was juggled in air so much.

I kept chosing shadow moses. I don't know why I do better there. I'm scared of joe's DDD. He keeps knocking me off the stage.
 
Damn. Sorry mk. Got disconnected, and I'm not sure why (since we were running pretty smooth.) Your Yoshi was gonna kick my butt anyway (and it's plain to see why I stink at 1 vs. 1's.)

EDIT: Peach is fast becoming my favorite character.

1 vs. 1's are not for me. I don't use my shield button at all. And I need to either always play 3 or 4 player games, or learn to use it. (I get killed by everyone in a 1 vs. 1.)

I'm done for tonight. Five or six great games, to those I played. Then, there'd always be a disconnect. Ugh.

I wouldn't say that. I remember your Kirby was pretty vicious too

edit: good games while they lasted Mnkyd and Marc. Keep getting dropped. Lag has been the worse it has ever been this week.

Good games zitanix. There were some matches where I just couldn't catch a break and where I made some stupid mistakes. Seemed like all of my dodges were mistimed, too.

Either way, good set. :)
 
Yeah, you seemed off a bit (except for that Mario vs Dedede and ZSS vs Fox, whew). I can never tell which characters are your favorite or best, since you seem to be good with everyone. Good games as always. :)

Oh man, registration for the team tournament is up! Time to look for a partner or two...

Thanks for helping me develop a main. Though it didn't go that well. Tried to edge guard more but it didn't go well that first match :whistle2:? I thought I was doing fine against some friends today (edge guarding) but your on a different level than them. Hope that down+a kick wasn't too annoying :D

Yeah, I noticed you were much more aggressive when I was off the stage. Netted you a few KOs, too. Good games, looking forward to more in the future. :)

Rather than begging people if I can be thier partner, I'm offering up my services (and that of my ROB) as an alt or for someone who can't find a partner.
 
wow theres another tourney? with 4 people?
i want to see how this is gonna go. seems like it might be hard to coordinate free time for 4 people at once.

Good games Joe, trying out some different characters? Did I come across more aggressive (edge guarding, short hoping)? I've trying to play more aggressively, blame that on Mr Ass err... Kado. I'll be on later tonight after my meeting :( I hate responsibility.
