Yeah, I got 2nd in my pool with a 6-2 record. Lost twice to DoJo's Metaknight, won all of my other games.

Yup. RoyR first round, top ranked player in Texas, one of the best Marths in the nation. Beats my G&W 3-1 first set, and beats my G&W again 3-2 in the second set. It wasn't really a "stomping." :lol: I dug myself a hole early, but I started to play smarter against him as the match progressed. I think I could have stolen the second round from him had I played that way all game. It seems EVERY time he hit me, it was a tipper.

First round of the losers bracket, I played Edrees, probably the best Peach player in the nation. I've got next to no familiarity with the matchup, so, he pretty much shit-wrecked me 3-1, 3-0. I used my G&W against him, since it was another Dallas guy that knocked him to losers with his own G&W. No such luck for me.

It got recorded, too. We had a game before the recorded set where I was up two stocks on him and couldn't seal the deal. :bomb: Videos of the actual recorded set should be up sometime within the week. I'll post them up whenever my friend uploads them to YouTube.

Alright, I'll play just one more, then I'm done. If I could just reduce my suicides to, like, 10 per evening, things would be great.

Today is a very laggy day. Nowhere as bad as the 2nd Tourney Finals' lag but still quite laggy. Dmunkee and I are even within an hour drive away and it was still laggy. :whistle2:(

Expect a cool update to the season thread tonight. :D
 
Yeah, there wasn't a game I played today that didn't have little lag hiccups. Apparently this just wasn't a good weekend for CAG online brawling.

Anyway, GGs to JoeB, Janet, and Evergoo. Goo, those Marth v. Snake matches got closer each time! I'm a sucker for easy mind games tonight :(

I think I need to retest my internet again. I told my bro to call the internet company due to those multiple disconnects. Hopefully, I will be on the safe list again. I am sick with my second flu now. I'm going to be on brawl in like a half hour.

Edit: My bro will call Verizon tommorow. They're freaking closed. I'm giving up today. Eckkkk.... Errors...

Edit #2: At least I beat blue once. I have redeemed my honor. sort of....eckkk.....

Thanks for the games, Marc! Sorry about my inconsistency - one game I was just trying to pick up R.O.B.'s gyro (which I can't do consistently), and another I played one-handed. Other than that, way to kick my butt!

EDIT: Make that two one-handed games.

I'm messing around with Zamus today. Nowhere as good as FallMoon's, though. Nevertheless, she's pretty fun to play with...unlike Peach.

Good games to people I played earlier. I don't know what's wrong with me, but I've been playing really bad lately (some of you probably noticed). dyeknom probably has a pretty good chance of besting me (again) in the division championship with the way I've been playing.
 
I was playing with whoever Marc's friend is. He registered me, but after Dyeknom and Marc dropped out I don't know who was hosting.
And I just left after a disconnect, so rude! :lol:

I wish I had a video of my Dedede coming back from 3-1 against your Wario. Regicides for the win. But my poor Yoshi .... at least he did his job by putting up a good fight against Meta Knight.

No, but you should be able to get out of the attempted chain grab with Marth after the first.

Well I submitted one, G&W still gets chain grabbed until about 35-45%.

Practice means playing, you want to play?

I played LFW (some guy I met online and I have his FC) and he chain grabbed the crap outta my Snake while incorporating the stage spike.

We played on FD constantly and I had to stay in the middle of the stage or DI away in fear of Falco's grab and spike. Regardless, I beat him 3 games to 1. :D

Nope. Mash up+B and you should be able to get away after one, two at the most. Same with Marth.
 
Thanks for the games everyone. Oh man, tons of hilarious things happened to me!
As both Toon Link and Kirby, Joe threw a Spike guy and it went right over my head.

And when Dyeknom and I took on the giants. We lost.

And at one point I was Link fighting two DeDeDes and an Ike, and I somehow got all three of you in my standing Up A.

And then in that last game. Marc and Dyeknom were both Samus and you both threw the pieces of her suit at me like 20 times each. And I couldn't do anything about it :lol:
